Welcome to White Tail Ridge Retreat, where you can lace up your hiking boots and walk down the road to the entrance to Ohio's number one hiking destination: Old Mans Cave. The destination doesn't get much closer than this.
This 2000 square foot, 4 bedroom luxury log cabin sleeps a max of 8 guests and boasts 2.5 bathrooms.
With everything at your fingertips, this lodge will meet your every need.
Enjoy an evening by a campfire under the stars, try your hand at an arcade game tournament, play foosball, or just soak in your own private hot tub. Wifi and smart TVs are available.
Wet bar in lower level, and a full kitchen inventory set up with range, oven, refrigerator, coffee makers, etc. Washer/dryer for guest usage also on site. Propane grill just outside the kitchen porch.

FOR FAMILY STYLE TRIPS OR MULTI-GENERATIONAL STAYS:
All ages welcome! We can accommodate a combination of up to 8 total adults/children. (Infants under 24 months at your time of arrival do not count toward your totals.) Only the booking agent must prove to be 28+ years of age.
FOR ADULT-ONLY GETAWAYS, SOCIAL GATHERINGS, WORK RETREATS, OR FRIEND/COUPLES TRIPS:
We can accept a maximum guest count of 8 adults. All adults attending must be 28+ years of age.

STEEP GRAVEL DRIVEWAY: 4wd/Awd recommended year round + required in inclement weather.
There are no refunds due to driving conditions.

At White Tail Ridge Retreat:
Entering the lodge, you will find one king bedroom and full bathroom with tub/shower combo, a stacked washer/dryer, the living room and kitchen. Out the sliding doors onto the porch you'll located outdoor sofa seating and the propane grill for easy and simplicity when preparing meals for your traveling companions.
On the 2nd floor, we have one queen bedroom and a half bathroom for added convenience. We also have a desk/office chair in case work still calls your name.
The lower level features one private queen bedroom, and 1 twin-over-full bunk room along with a full bathroom. This lower level is where you'll find the wet bar, arcade game area, books, puzzles, games, and a foosball table. Exiting these doors, you'll step out to the hot tub and fire pit under the stars.
Propane grill. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer/Dryer. Wifi. Arcades (titles are subject to change). Foosball. SmartTVs.
No pets or parties/events permitted.

We love the walkability to Old Mans Cave. It's quite a highlight when the parking for the destination climbs up the road toward our quaint lodge, knowing we don't have to fight that, and we can just walk on in and out.

We situated the lodge to capture the tree lines and create the most privacy possible. When you are on the deck or enjoying the fire pit, you will feel totally secluded.
