The property is nestled quietly on 2.8 Acres with 780 feet of St Johns River frontage. The home is fully furnished with 6 bedrooms & 2 full baths, a large majority of interior has been upgraded. New Pool in 2021 w/Deck & Fencing. A generous outdoor area for games, fishing, boating, and enjoying Mother Nature. We have 2 docks (1 w/electric), a PRIVATE boat ramp, fish cleaning sink, swings, RV hook-up, hammocks, basketball court, 3 Commercial Crab traps,1 BBQ grill, dance patio, and 5 paddle boats. This home can sleep up to 16 guests. Each bedroom has a new SMART TV; DVD Players in 2 bedrooms, and Alarm clocks. (4) Queen Beds, (1) set of twin bunk beds, (1) set bunk beds with Full & Twin. Extra-large family room (sits up to 14). French doors lead to the recently screened porch. Our stay at the cabin was very pleasant. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offers a beautiful lake view. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well equipped, making it perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing summer vacation

A group of 14 friends and family stayed at this wonderful home near the end of June 2025 for three nights. It was one of the most memorable vacations any of us have ever had. The view of the river is incredible, the pool is well kept and refreshing; the house is spacious and homey. We had so much fun swimming in the pool, fishing and using the canoes on the river, and exploring the greater Ocala area nearby. We are definitely going to return and possibly make this an annual trip as long as the house is available. 5 stars all the way, the host was extremely kind and accommodating. Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in this area for any type of vacation. Thank you!!

What a beautiful property! Thank you so much for sharing this space with us. Everything we needed was there and it was big space. My uncle brought his 46 foot RV and was able to park on property with electric which was so nice we could have the whole family in one location.

Maintenance and upkeep

The property was very beautiful, very quiet, very relaxing and very spacious however, Six bedrooms and only two baths made it a lot difficult for 16 people, but we made it work. Please consider adding additional bathroom or two as far as outside maintenance, the building could use pressure washing screen door screen was tore pet door missing and one screen doors in operable picnic bench was broken when we arrived, no crabs were biting, but we had a great time and enjoyed the Facilities.

Mother’s Day Gathering

We arrived easily to the property and everything was very clean. The owners thought of everything and we had all the supplies we needed. The river was fabulous and the kids really enjoyed the swings and the pool. We had amazing weather and the owners were easily reachable and responded immediately to our questions. The room set up was great and allowed plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our trip. Will be back again next year for sure.

Great place to relax, very quiet on the winter, perfect if you like canoeing or kayaking, needs some remodeling/repairs, but otherwise great to stay.

Best Birthday little getaway ever

Stayed here for a birthday weekend with some friends and family and it was nothing short of perfect. Loved every second of it. This was actually my third time staying at this house and did not disappoint. Pool was a perfect addition and everything was so clean. Owner was so responsive and accommodating! Will definitely be going back again! Thank you so so much!

Do not book this property.

When we arrived the pool was green. We contacted the manager on Sunday morning and she said someone would be out to service the pool Monday morning. I said that the time frame is unacceptable. Was told the first available time for a pool person is Monday morning. Didn't show up on Monday morning, the manager then said 2:00 Monday afternoon; didn't show up. The manager then said Tuesday. The outdoor sitting area is filthy and I mean filthy. I wouldn't think of sitting on it. The pictures online of the pool and sitting area are not even close to reality. Throughout our stay we had very poor communication with the manager, she would not respond sometimes for days. This is unfortunate because, for the most part, this is a beautiful property. We ask the furniture outside be cleaned. The manager would not respond. It doesn't matter how beautiful most of this property is to have to deal with the parts that are not. This property is poorly managed to say the least. This is bait and switch for sure. They show one way online and it is not close to the real looks when you arrive.

Me and my family stayed here a couple weeks ago. My sister brought her dog, which we paid a 50 dollar fee for. When we got there it is very pretty on outside. Downstairs in the garage area that they made into a space for the pontoons and hang out spot was a mess. My mom and her husband cleaned it all out with a broom and leaf blower. The outside furniture cushions were so dirty, which I get to an extent because it is outside. When we went swimming, my mom stepped by the pool to bring us floaties, and she got attacked by a bunch of tiny ants. The pool was not clean. All my kids and a couple adults got rashes after being in the pool. There is a bench by the pool that has a bunch of bugs inside of it. Boat outside was filthy with trash all in it. There is a hole in one of the canoes. Most of the rooms were okay, but my daughter found crumbs in her bed where the bunk beds were before she even slept in the bed. Half of the TVs didn’t have remotes to them and the direct TV only worked some of the times. Most of the board games, had missing pieces so they should just throw them games away. The dishwasher only works on the bottom half. The laundry room door was off track when we got there and kept opening. A couple of couches are breaking down and are super worn out. Last but not least, The manager of the house is not professional and very rude, and a liar.

Multiple Family vacation

We had our first whole family vaccinations to this beautiful place. There was more than enough room for our group of 8 adults and 6 children. The kids enjoyed the pool while we lounged on the near by screened in porch. We seen a manatee leaving the near by creek daily with the out going tide. At night we enjoyed take a bright flash light out and looking for alligators from the dock. There were 3 small ones near by that kept their distance from us. With the fully equipped kitchen we were able to cook breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. The closest grocery store was about a half hour away; Along with wal-mart, Big Lots, Win Dixi, Public’s and so much more. We drove 90 minutes to De Leon springs. The kids enjoyed swimming in the spring and we enjoyed fishing from the nearby dock. We also drove to St. Augustine which was about an hour. We played the games provided by the house each night after dinner. The neighbors were friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Refresh

We enjoyed this expansive property. We enjoyed the docks and the canoes. The kids swam each day that we were there. The pool was clean and inviting. There was plenty of space for entertaining inside and out. We did have family visiting and would have been nice to have access to a restroom without having to climb stairs. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill and watching the sunrise. This location was remote but still had a store close enough in case you needed something essential. Overall our family enjoyed the property and our stay. There is nothing like the Florida sun for spring break. Thanks for helping us make family memories.

There were 8 of us and we cook every night and found everything to do so. Plenty of everything. response from owner was prompt when we had a question. Too cold to swim but the pool looked inviting. Lots of parking. I could of stayed longer. Very relaxing view.

Great stay!

Property was awesome for a family of fisherman. Only issue was boat ramp. We had no problem putting boat in but then it rained and ground was wet. Talked to a local and he said public ramp down the road won’t work for our boat because the t top in our boat was to high for bridge. So we kinda got stuck a little . But managed to get boat out. Very nice property nice and quiet close to saint Augustine. Would definitely stay there again.

In July 2019 we purchased this property to have a private getaway for ourselves and family to relax, go fishing, crabbing, shrimping or visit one of the many attractions and activities that are in and around the area. The home is easily accessible from the Jacksonville International Airport which has been ideal for us to fly in, grab a rental car and be poolside within an hour. We have been on a mission to update and upgrade the property with big projects being completed each year and smaller projects every time we visit when possible.
