Walk straight in from the parking area, no stairs to haul your bags up, and Many Springs 621 opens up in front of you: a warm wood beam overhead, two queen beds and big windows looking out over Yellow Bay. This upper-level studio at Many Springs Resort has a balcony above the lawn and docks, about 20 minutes from downtown Bigfork and about an hour from Glacier National Park.

Four can spread out here. The two queen beds face the lake windows, and four rattan chairs circle the glass table right by the balcony slider. The full kitchen has a full-size fridge, an electric range, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Keurig, and there's a desk in the corner for anyone who has to check in. It's a great pick for two couples, friends traveling together or a small family who want an easy arrival.

Head down to the dock for a swim or a paddle, take a drive up the Going-to-the-Sun Road, or wander Bigfork's shops and galleries. In the evening, slide open the balcony door and watch the light fade over the docks and the bay.

Summer
When the snow melts, the Flathead Valley transforms into a playground of lakes, trails, and endless sunshine. Spend your days on Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, where you can enjoy boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming in crystal-clear waters. Just a short drive away, Glacier National Park beckons with the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and over 70 incredible day hikes. Closer to home, soak in the charm of downtown Bigfork -- a vibrant hub for local shops, art galleries, award-winning restaurants, and the iconic Bigfork Summer Playhouse. Outdoor lovers can hike the Swan River Nature Trail, explore the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, cast a line in countless lakes and rivers, or play a round at Eagle Bend Golf Course.
