This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom vacation rental is a comfortable, casual home away from home. The back of the house is lined with large windows that display a view of the Southern Oregon Coast. Private stairs from the backyard lead down to a sandy beach near the mouth of the Winchuck River (please be aware we do not maintain the shoreline- there could be driftwood or sea matter on the sand that you may have to walk around or step over). Watch boats, whales, sea lions, and the changing flow of the mouth of the Winchuck River. In winter watch amazing storm waves and the driftwood that piles up and disappears with each storm.

This home provides all of the basic necessities for your stay. Including linens, a user-friendly kitchen, Roku access, and WiFi. Enjoy the spacious deck with a good book or curl up on the couch to watch the ocean. The sound of waves crashing against the shore in the background will bring you the peace that is often missing from everyday life.

This rental is an older beach front home, priced fairly for the amount of guest and amenities available. It is a very family and pet-friendly rental- dogs are welcome with prior office approval. Contact the office if you are wanting to add a dog, There is a $50 pet fee (per pet). Pets are not allowed on the furniture and must be cleaned up after at all times inside and outside.

NO BOATS OR TRAILERS!! Max of 3 vehicles allowed. You will be contacted if additional vehicles are noted.

The private staircase to the beach was rebuilt in April 2023.

The location of this home is great and the view is amazing. The large deck is perfect for bbq'ing and a peaceful place to take in the ocean air. Sunsets with beach campfires are highly recommended! Lunch or dinner at The Railhouse Pub and Grill is also a recommendation!!

The house was much bigger than expected! The adults could stay in each room and the kids could stay in their own "wing"!! The ocean view was amazing. The private beach was everything we could have asked for and more! Completely kid friendly. We would stay here again!

We noticed that not all the electrical plugs in the front room worked properly. We are a group of quilters who love to line our machines up along the windows and enjoy the view while we sew. We had to scramble to find a setup that worked with functioning plugs. The kitchen seems to need some items, such as a larger frying pan and more eating utensils. We appreciated that the twin beds in the "downstairs" bedroom seemed to have been upgraded. Ample towels and extra blankets were easily available. We love the view and accessibility.

Nice beach location. Plenty of space. Comfortable rooms. Lots of ants! Dirty windows obscuring ocean view. Old bad pans. Dull knives. No rubber spatula. We rent homes so we can cook there. No salt. 160 cleaning fee is excessive when weā€™re told to empty all the trash, wash the linens, deal with all the dishes in the dishwasher before we go. Water doesnā€™t taste good. Many rentals have filtered water. As a vet and former scout leader, I found the old tattered American Flag outside a bit offensive. It should have been ā€œretiredā€ and replaced long ago or donā€™t fly one at allā€¦

The place was ideal for myself and 4 friends. We were amazed at the view and sound of the ocean from the house. It was a comfortable house. We enjoyed the patio area every morning with our coffee. However we did have to go buy cooking oil, and salt for the kitchen but everything else we needed was available. We also bought cleaner and cleaned the scum off the bathtub and noticed dust bunnies and candy wrappers under at least one bed.Overall we loved the ocean view and location of the property. We had a total sense of privacy with the surrounding shrubs and trees. Plus we loved the private access to the beach. We will definitely return.

The home has a large deck which overlooks the ocean and has an amazing view. The beach was easy to access once you climbed over the driftwood. I was very disappointed to find this older home in a state of disrepair and it was disgustingly dirty. The property management staff were wonderful to work with and very kind and I really appreciated their help but the dirtiness of the home definitely impacted my comfort level during my stay and I will certainly not be staying there again.

The house was a little dated but it was very functional and comfortable. The location and beach access was fantastic. The dishwasher did not work but the property management brought us paper goods to make it easier. The only complaint I had was the barbecue would not heat up and it would have been nice to have some deck furniture. We would definitely use this location again.

The house is in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean from inside the house and on the deck. Some things in the house need updating. The lockbox to access the key is a challenge to open. Some windows are new others need to be replaced. Barbeque is pretty rusted so we didn't use it. But the kitchen is stocked well with pots/pans, dishware, and utensils. The beds were comfortable. The beach access for us was fine with some driftwood to climb through but well worth the effort!

Our 3rd or 4th trip there. House still has funky electrical issues...i.e. the little bathrooms lights flicker when kitchen lights on.....dont uf something is plugged in. Biggest issue or complaint was beach access all but gine and was a big disappointment

Loved our stay! The property was perfect for what we like!It was a very private home and beach area. The view and location were perfect. The built-up driftwood at the bottom of the stairs did make it tricky getting to the beach. We made our way and cleared an easier path for our poor old dog. That area is the only thing we wish were different with this property. The driftwood has been building up for a very long time and it wouldn't take much to clear a path to the beach. It could be done once and would last a long time. Overall, though, we loved it and definitely plan to stay again.

We have stayed here 3 times and we love the house and location but the furniture needs to be updated! All the furniture is very uncomfortable and the beds are just as bad. The lights in the kitchen and half bath flicker or just don't come on some times. The second bathroom toilet plugs almost every time it's used. This house would be so much better with a little upgrading and repairs.

Excellent property and location. There wasn't any paper towels, garbage bags, the path to the beach needs to be trimmed. A few minor issues, otherwise we had a great time.

Property was very clean inside and out, kitchen was nice but cookware could use updating! Deck was newer with good views of ocean, stairs down to beach were fine but driftwood blocked easy access to the beach. Master bed was way to soft caused back issues for my wife and I. Other beds were good!
