This is simply a lovely cottage situated on my property 1000 feet above the Pacific Ocean on clear days you can see forever,the house itself sports a beautiful bedroom with top of the line mattress and bedding, the living room offers a leather couch that folds out to full size comfy bed. Also a single comfy futon. I provide Wifi and dish satellite TV with surround sound. If it is peace and quiet you are looking for, then I am 100% sure you will find this the perfect place,
For all those uncertain about the fall on the coast! October is always the perfect weather! Clear,sunny and usually warm during the days. It’s like the quiet before the storm. Just beautiful. Did I mention the sunsets?
Now it’s winter! And the winter storms are sometimes spectacular up here, strong winds and ominous skies.
If that attracts you, then come on up to the top of the mountain. You gonna love it.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is adorable and the view gorgeous. It is a peaceful way to spend your days enjoying the view from the bedroom, living area, and balcony. The kitchen was well-stocked. We would definitely stay again if ever in Brookings.

Loved this peaceful setting in the hills overlooking the ocean. The cottage was warm and welcoming, and the hosts were always available but also gave us lots of space. Very comfortable bed, an elk buck grazed in a field below the house, great deck for dining and sunning, I could go on and on. This place gets five stars plus!!

Truly a slice of heaven

This is such a LOVELY place! From the scenic view to the peaceful setting to the exquisite decor and furnishings. We cannot say enough about the space and the overall lovely environment. It is even better that the photos show. Thank you Peter and Nikki for sharing you place with us.

Beautiful rental and setting, close to the great Sequoia trees, beaches & hiking trails.

The owners are friendly and offered some great ideas for restaurants and things to see and do. The house and property are beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the deck, views and wildlife.

Enjoyed our stay. Property s beautiful . Nice ocean view. Only downside, limited hot water and about a mile up a curvy road.

Shower has unlimited hot water due to a tankless heater, kitchen on the other hand is on a separate tankless “smaller” on demand heater, so yea if you run the ultra hot water for any time longer than would be needed for dishes. As so far as the road coming up to our place , you are right, in order to get to any type of view there is call for a small sacrifice, in this case the road to get to it. Well worth the 5 minutes it takes to drive 1 mile. 4 stars really? 😂

Perfect coastal getaway

This cottage is roomy, luxurious, with beautiful antique furniture. Off the beaten track, it offers great ocean views and tranquility but is a quick drive into Brookings. Peter and Nicky are helpful, gracious hosts.

Beautiful Cottage with Amazing View

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Comfortable, clean, with an amazing view and convenient location for all our planned day hikes. Peter was a wonderful host and great with communicating. We highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage, will definitely stay here again!

Peter was very kind and helpful to us. He wasn't in town while we were there, but he checked in to make sure things were going well. The cottage was beautiful with amazing views! We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. We highly recommend this place for your next stay in Brookings!

This cottage was very clean and comfortable.

Our stay here was very pleasant, everything we expected. A beautiful view, very quiet and serene. Would stay there again, if ever in Brookings. Nice to have the ocean and Redwoods so close together. The owner very accommodating and available. Dee, Amy, Kyle, and pups.

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful time staying in your cottage. It was very cozy and had all the comforts of home. It felt like home away from home! The view was amazing and seeing the elk family was a treat! We loved it and hope to return soon. Thank you for everything Peter and Nicky!

Hi you two! Glad we met your expectations, thanks for the review it helps us keeping it open, the bottle of wine in the fridge took it right over the top, corked it last night to enjoy with fresh caught fish. Cozy and very well kept with excellent views.

Overall a very good experience. Excellent views. Nicki was helpful checking in then left us alone which is nice. As long as you do not want to be walking distance to the beach, would highly recommend.

The view the land the house, we are even above that sometimes pesky coastal fog that sometimes comes for a visit just to ruin our beautiful sunsets. Everything about this place is wonderfully special.
