Book the perfect beach house for your summer vacation or off-season getaway! Lindy's Lake House is walking distance from downtown and the south beach. Weekly rentals are Friday – Friday so that you can enjoy a full weekend in South Haven.

• 55” Samsung Smart TV in living room.
• Xfinity Wireless Hi-Speed internet and streaming services
• Separate family room with queen sofa sectional and TV for the kids.
• Full finished basement with laundry area and outside entrance.
• Patio with family-sized table and chairs, charcoal and gas grills, and additional patio with built-in fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs.
• 5 Bedrooms: 1 King; 1 Queen; 4 singles (2 sets of bunk beds) second floor; 1 Queen main floor; 1 Queen with 2 singles and Queen sleeper sofa basement level.
• All linens, except beach towels, provided.

Lindy's Lake House is such a gem! Walkable to both the shops and restaurants as well as the beach. There were lots of helpful items in the home to cook for a large group, plenty of seating, and a lovely, peaceful back yard. We had everything we needed, and friendly, helpful hosts to top it off. Thanks for sharing with us!

Absolutely wonderful property and location for our "girls' trip" of 8 long-time friends. The house was immaculate, extremely well furnished and well stocked, and all beds were comfortable. Everyone in our group agreed that it was the perfect place to stay in South Haven.

Wonderful home for our three generation vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious, shaded backyard. Large tables indoors and outdoors with ample seating. Close to South Beach and downtown.

Big Family Vacation

The property was beautiful, family friendly, comfortable and clean! There was enough space for 9 adults and 2 teens to comfortably hangout! The location was absolutely perfect for walking to the beach and into town! My 75 year old, active mother, was able to get around with ease both in the house and walking around town. South Haven is beautiful, family friendly and so relaxing! We will definitely be returning!

Great location, great house

House is as described. Is three blocks from downtown, an easy five minute walk. Beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home within walking distance to town interests!

This is a nice, clean, modern home with plenty of room for family to enjoy! It is in a nice neighborhood and within blocks of downtown shopping, beach relaxing and riverfront entertainment! Take your bikes and expand your scope of exploring what sights are around town!

Perfect spot for our family vacation!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Lindy's Lake House. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with PJ was easy and she was very helpful with the several questions I had before arrival. The location of the house was perfect. A short trip to beach and just a few blocks from downtown area. We WILL be back again!

Womens Weekend

This was a perfect property for our annual Women's Weekend. Plenty of beds and baths for 11 of us. The house had everything we needed. This property is within walking distance to town.. We did not have a bad meal anywhere we went. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard when sitting outside one evening. The owner was great to work with and very accommodating.

Excellent facility for a large family get together.

Communication with the owner was very positive. She was always available to answer questions. The house is comfortable, roomy, and well kept up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, great house, great weather.

The house is situated comfortably from downtown, the beach, and Kids Corner, but close enough to walk any of them. The house has great amenities with enough space for a big family. The owners are very cooperative and accommodating. What's more to say.

Annual family vacation

We have always enjoyed South Haven and over the past 7 years we have stayed at Lindys Lake House 4 of those times. Location is central for walking to beach and town. Kids enjoy the big back yard.

Fantastic Gals Getaway

We were very happy with our stay at Lindy's Lake House! The outside appearance is pristine - beautiful blue exterior with super nice patio and separate fire pit. The inside was quite spacious in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen had many small appliances and cupboards full of serving pieces. Our group of eight women had no problem sharing five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The location is perfect for quick walks to town, the beach, church, and local restaurants. Our vrbo host, P.J., provided a list of activities and restaurants that was very helpful. The details provided in advance of our stay were well-thought-out. On top of all that, we had fantastic weather! I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home!!

Great location!

The location of the house was perfect, few minute walk to either downtown or the beach and a very nice neighborhood. The house is a lot bigger than what we imagined from the pictures which was great. It was nice to have plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to utilize. The house was very clean when we arrived. The only thing I would say that would need “improvement” would be to really deep clean the high traffic areas on the walls and doors, I have kids of my own so I may just be picky about it, and maybe consider getting a second trash cart. When we arrived they were already full and didn’t have space to throw away what we needed to until pickup day. I also set trash out properly and the trash truck didn’t pick up everything that was set out only the bins were emptied, I know that’s no fault of the owner but maybe getting a second bin would resolve that issue. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying at the lake house!

Great location and responsive owner

Great location and owner was very responsive to questions etc. loved our time here! Only complaint is that the upstairs 2nd bed needs replacement and was unusable so one of our guests had to sleep on the floor during their stay. Hopefully this gets fixed (in fairness to the owner we didn’t bring it up until I am writing this review now). A+ in all other respects. The fire pit was great to have as well as the outdoor seating and yard for the kids.

Sweet 16: Couldn’t be more perfect!

This lake house truly became our home for the long weekend to celebrate our daughter turning 16! It was perfect. Location is everything - it is well centered and walkable, just a couple of blocks from the main entrance to south beach, a couple of blocks to the harbor walk, and a couple of blocks to the downtown shops and restaurants. All with sidewalks. There was incredible space tucked in to this home. It has great areas to be together (in the open kitchen layout or in the basement) and lots of bedrooms for privacy. There were no issues. It is comfortably decorated. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The front porch was cozy for morning coffee. The two couches by the fireplace were good for reading and napping. There were good games for entertaining. The fire pit was lovely for the cool evenings. But above all, the owner is AMAZING! She helped me to make sure the 16th was ‘sweet’! She not only connected me to the most amazing bakery (Malissa’s Itty Bitty bakery) but arranged the pick up prior to my arrival. She also gave me a great evaluation of restaurants so that I everything was planned in advance. If you stay here, you will be nothing but pleased!

Well appointed, clean house close to everything

We had a great time in South Haven and would definitely come back to stay at this property! Overall the house was clean and matches the pictures posted. We were pleasantly surprised at how many extras there were too - e.g. the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cookware which is great if you plan on eating at home. The backyard is also very spacious and has full amenities. For us, the location was perfect and we walked everywhere (e.g. beach, harbor, downtown shops & restaurants, etc.). The owner is very communicative and responded quickly. Overall, a very easy check in and out process. I would recommend this house!

Sibling reunion

Lovely house, perfect location, great kitchen, wonderful outdoor area. Everything perfect for our 5 siblings. The only heads up is that bunk beds are definitely for kids, uncomfortable for adult. Thank you for wonderful memories.

This vacation home is owned by three sisters, Luanne, Marilee, and P.J., who each have different and fond memories of times in South Haven. P.J., the youngest spent many summers here during her pre-teen and teen years; Marilee went off to college after a few years of fun times at the lake; and the oldest Luanne only occasionally got to visit since she had gone to NC for college and remains there today. Their brother Brad also was off to college and later brought his wife and children to visit parents Pat and Lindy at The Harbours on North Beach, so we've had several generations experience the charm of South Haven.

Our parents were among the original owners of a condo in The Harbours back in the late 70's, and it has long been a dream of P.J.'s to have a South Haven home. When P.J. and Luanne took their mother Pat back to South Haven for a visit after many years, P.J.'s son Ethan wondered why his mom had been keeping South Haven a secret from him. He fell in love with all the town and lake have to offer. So, we found a way to buy a lot and build a house. We hope you will make many happy memories while you spend time in the house built by three sisters who tried to imagine all that you would need to make your vacation home comfortable. We want you to come back!
