Quiet retreat for our extended family

Was very nice. The basement was the kids zone for when they wanted to be loud and the first floor was for seniors. Plenty of rooms for everyone. Close to Shady Maple for a delicious breakfast!

Another wonderful stay

We had it all. Snow, rain, wind yet the house was warm and cozy. We loved all the soft blankets in the basket in the livingroom. Great for watching a movie. The little ones ages 2, 3, and 4 loved all the kids toys. Thanks for our 2nd wonderful stay at your home

Out of town working

My company works out of town 4 hours away and we booked this house for the week and let me just say, BY FAR THE BEST HOUSE!!!!! the house is very clean organized has everything you would need to get away or just have a place to stay, this house is like home away from home! We enjoyed and loved it we would book this house for months if we could!!! Thank you again

Great Family Weekend

The house is so much larger than it looks when you see it coming up the driveway. One of the cleanest homes ive ever rented. A few nice touches when we entered were fresh cinnamon Buns in the kitchen, soft music playing and the fireplace on the TV. Plenty of soft blankets to get cozy on the sofa while watching a movie. Our family from age 1 to 85 enjoyed this house very much.

A respite

Had a wonderful family celebration for my grandmas 100th birthday! The house and property offered the warmth and space that we needed. We utilized the indoor and outdoor space to is max! Enjoyed the game room downstairs, large yard for vball, sat around the firepit, lounged on the front porch, the back deck, the comfortable sectional sofa, took walks, watched birds...such a beautiful, hidden away gem!

Becky and her group were a real pleasure to host! They were respectful and kept the property very neat and clean. We welcome them back anytime!! Wow I feel super honored that they got to celebrate a 100th birthday at our place! Happy birthday grandma! 🎉🎉

Couldn’t ask for more!

Perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room for all of us. Beautiful property inside and out. Diesel the goat was very friendly and loved being fed. Darlene has everything you need possible. Will definitely stay again. The location is serene but yet not far from Walmart, restaurants, anttractions etc. Dutch wonderland was amazing but is mainly strictly kiddo rides. Dorney park is good too but a lot of walking up and down hills and if in the summer it’s a lot. Philadelphia bus tour was amazing on the double decker bus. Lots of history around with the parks and museums.

Lovely and Tranquil Get Away

We had our family reunion here and it was lovely. Enough rooms so each family unit could have their own spot and plenty of space for our almost 5 year old to run around, play on swing set, feed goats, and play downstairs in play area. Lots of room to sit together for meals around dining table. Kitchen is very well stocked. Fire circle was nice for relaxing in the evening and roasting marshmellows. Nice remote tranquil spot but still close enough to markets, ice cream shop, and other sites in Lancaster Co. Darlene is a great host, very response and made sure the place was clean and ready for us. Only issue was that for a few people thought some of the beds seemed a bit too hard. But overall, we loved it and would definitely stay here for our next reunion.
