Great location. Beautiful view of the lake from the house. Although we didn’t use everything in the house, it had everything one would need for cooking, washing etc.Check in instructions were easy to follow. I had to message the host at one point and received a prompt reply. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Very disappointing! This was a renovated ramshackle summer house. It was sub par in every way. The floors were uneven and caused balance issues. The beds were very firm, close to uncomfortably so. The description said it could sleep 6. Not true. The stairs to the bedroom on the 2nd floor were difficult to navigate safely and a wooden fixture at the top of the stairs that seemed to be meant to assist in climbing the stairs, was not attached. My roommate lost her balance and almost fell. She twisted her back so wouldn't fall down the stairs after she reached to help her get up the staircase because it was not attached! The kitchen was okay.The bathroom has a deep thick walled Jacuzzi-type tub. It was extremely difficult to get in and out. I have a serious bruise on the inside of my thigh from climbing over the wall of the tub. The backyard faced the lake, but all boats were filthy. Ripped seats and cushions on the chairs outside. Not even a good place to sit outside to enjoy the foliage on the lake. Requested a partial discount from agent for false advertising regarding description and safety concerns. He refused unless we vacated after only a couple of days. The dishwasher had to be replaced a few days into the rental The workers left the kitchen floor dirty and debris-ridden I was very disappointed with the rental overall.

Great Lake Property

My wife and I stayed here for the second time with our dog. We had another great visit. We love the property and being on the lake. We took day trips to Providence and Boston this time. We look forward to staying here again!

Great, simple location!

Stayed here for a wedding that was right outside Providence. We had a great time here. The host was quick to respond when I noticed there was no dishwasher detergent and quick to get us some as well which was much appreciated. The property is right on the water which was pretty cool to see as well. The only thing that I would say is that there was no hot tub as listed, but that seems to have been an accident on the listing. Would recommend to anyone!

Lake view

I can honestly say our stay at this lake house was beautiful. I only had a day to find a comfortable, clean and quaint place to stay for five days that would be suitable for the three of us and I believe this house was waiting just for us. We were there for the 4th of July week, fireworks were amazing over the lake. The neighbors were very friendly as well.

Great Extended Weekend on the Lake

My wife and I spent a long weekend here with our dog. We had a great time. The house is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We took day trips to Newport and Providence. The view of the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night. We hope to stay here again. Thank you.

Family Visit

Property was clean, in a good location, nice lake view, loved seeing the swans. Close walk to the beach. Kitchen was nicely stocked and washer and dryer worked well, with soap being provided, that was nice. Concerns start with the difficulty of opening the front door, bad smell that seemed to be coming from the kitchen sink, needed to have a candle lit the whole time. The listing states hot tub, there wasn't one outside like we expected. There is a jetted bathtub but couldn't get the jets to work and it was very difficult to try and get the bathtub stopper to work. Overall, adequate for our needs but probably wouldn't stay again.

Good house in a quiet neighborhood.

Sleeping accommodations, towels, linens, and kitchen were fine for our needs. Some minor improvements could be made: Better directions on how to open door-there is a push system that the host had to describe to me to open door. Can't imagine trying to open in the dark with just instructions that came with house. Also, could use more kitchen towels and some scissors. Tub jacuzzi tough to get in and out of. You need a pin for TV to download favorite apps-none was provided. Neighborhood was easy to walk in. With these improvements I believe it would merit a5 star.

Not as advertised - too many safety issues.

The location was perfect for what I came to RI for. However, there were multiple issues. Ripped or missing screens on windows & slider. Could not walk out slider due to no step. Tub was a challenge - no grab bar. Had to purchase tub mat to safely get in & out of shower. No knobs or handles on bathroom vanity. Only left out 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. Had to hunt for more in bin next to washer/dryer. The garage building is a fire/safety hazard. Sewage smell inside house. Septic needs to be checked. The driveway has huge holes when pulling in. We have stayed at multiple VRBO. This was our worst experience. The pictures were very nice but did not represent the property as it actually is.

1. This guest stayed for two weeks and never contacted us for any “issues”, 2. In the check in instructions in bold letter states to stay off the back building/garage which is a safety hazard and it’s also not included in your rental. 3. Again in the instructions it’s stated if you need extra towels or bedsheets they’re in the bins next to laundry. This is the first we’re hearing of a sewage smell as we’ve had many guests stay and never a problem but will be checked.

House was perfect for a family getaway for an extended weekend. Very clean and stocked. Gas fire pit and sitting on the dock was so relaxing. Kayaking was very fun.
