STARLIGHT RETREAT is a LOFT style home that is nestled at the end of a peaceful gravel road, offering a serene and secluded getaway just moments from South Chesterman Beach. This charming loft house incorporates the essence of Tofino, with its rustic wood beams, open concept design, and eclectic artwork adorning the walls.

Upon entering the vacation rental, you'll immediately be enveloped in a nostalgic retro ambiance. The main living area provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with windows that showcase the surrounding trees, a crackling wood fireplace to warm you and an abundance of natural light that fills the room. The wooden beams overhead add a touch of rustic elegance, elevating the house's character and allure.

The vibrant and welcoming kitchen continues the theme, with its playful red and white color scheme that perfectly captures the spirit of Tofino's end-of-the-road culture. The red cabinetry create a cheerful atmosphere that will inspire your culinary adventures.

The open layout of the LOFT house makes it ideal for socializing and spending quality time with loved ones. The dining area, adorned with a vintage wood-burning stove, serves as the perfect gathering spot for shared meals and the creation of lasting memories. Curl up in the cozy seating area and engage in intimate conversations, or simply take pleasure in the tranquil ambiance that surrounds you.

The vacation rental loft house offers two rooms with beds, both featuring open ceilings that enhance the sense of spaciousness. The master room loft space boasts a comfortable king-sized bed, projector onto the ceiling for comfy movie nights in bed, a generous open space with a private bathroom, ample closet space, and an adjoining room with a work desk and purple chair that folds down into a mattress perfect for kids. Open windows overlook the private property, framed by majestic cedars. In addition, a few yoga mats and a desk provide extra space for enjoying the morning light, engaging in some rejuvenating stretching, meditating, or dedicating time to work in the loft office.

The second room, which has been converted from a work space, offers a Queen bed and is situated at the front of the house. This room is perfect for children or additional guests, providing privacy with the use of curtains and an open ceiling (no door). This setup ensures that everyone can retire to bed at the same time, allowing for rest and relaxation.

Step outside into the private backyard, where you'll discover a serene tree-covered area, comfortable seating and a large hot tub nestled around the corner, along with a cold plunge tub if that's more your style. Immerse yourself in the soothing waters and let your tired muscles unwind after a day of exploring Tofino's breathtaking beaches. Alternatively, indulge in a glass of wine under the starry night sky as you bask in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Please note: 4 guest max. but can allow a 5th child.
Please note: young children should be monitored in the upstairs office loft space.


Host Rules:
Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

Age min: must be 23 years or older to book.

Max Occupancy: 5 guests total including babies and infants.

During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments.

3 Night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays.

Pet friendly: up to two dogs allowed and must be owner approved.

Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws. The suite is located to the right of the main home (detached)

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund. If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
