We have had the best weekend ever. My son got engaged right in the back yard of this beautiful home. The best place we have stayed in Blue Ridge. That house is perfect for indoor and outdoor living. Lots of room for the whole family! We cooked every meal in the spacious well stocked kitchen. The water was beautiful! Kevin is an amazing host. We will be back sooner than later. Thank you Kevin for sharing your wonderful home.

Family vacation

Our family enjoyed our few days at the cabin. Clean! Close enough to a couple different towns to go in and eat! We loved the porch!

Beautiful and Relaxing getaway

We have been going to blue ridge area for the past 6 years or more for our anniversaries and this house and location was great. We enjoyed the outside fit pit, the swing, and listening to the river. My husband definitely enjoyed some fly fishing in the river.

Fall in Blue Ridge

Absolutely beautiful cabin in an idyllic location. The Toccoa River runs through the backyard and it is so peaceful. Would love to return!

Beautiful

Brought my parents, wife and son for my fathers 75th Birthday! It was exactly the Peace and quiet we needed, definitely staying more then 5 days next time!

Relaxing ecpetience

This property is absolutely beautiful. It’s so relaxing to sit out by the river and have a fire in the fire pit at night. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need! We hardly left the site while there. You just don’t want to leave! We will definitely return!

Incredible!

A very beautiful cabin literally on the river that gives you coolness on the hottest summer day. Kids enjoyed fishing and climbing from rock to rock in the cool waters and floating down. 4 days stay was not enough! Book for longer if you can!

Wonderful rest

When we got there my wife said I could stay here the whole month. We had a great time and looking forward to coming back. Thank you for sharing the cabin with others. Thank you for being so easy to work with. I would give the whole experience a 10.

The Perfect Relaxing Get Away

This place is amazing and we didn't want to go home! Everything was clean and well maintained. The hot tub worked great and we used it every day that we were there. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view of the river. We tried fishing but didn't have much luck. My family was looking for a relaxing spring break vacation and this place was it. I highly recommend it.

House cleaner was still cleaning at 5:00 and needed 45 more minutes-check in was at 4 No blinds on the upstairs shower, the entire street can see you take a shower-I texted the property mgr with no response. Great location, clean, safe

Hi Les, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: Thank you for making us aware of the delayed service. We have reached out to the cleaners immediately to make sure this will not recur with future guests. The safety of our guests is our top concern. The window in the upstairs bathroom is small and narrow and only gives a view of the vanity area, not the shower. We appreciate your feedback and are looking into getting custom blinds for that window so our guests can feel secure!

We spent 10 days at Trout n’ About and it was absolutely wonderful! I first communicated with Kevin last July when we were staying close by and he graciously allowed us to go inside to just to see the property. We booked for this year right away. Throughout the year I contacted him a few times with various inquiries regarding availability of certain amenities. He consistently responded promptly and was very helpful. The same applied during our stay. The cabin definitely fulfilled our expectations and is truly one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We would highly recommend it. The outdoor area is beautifully done and was our favorite spot to be! From sitting next to the river in the morning with coffee to the family tubing or generally enjoying it. Our daughter and grandson and friends, who stayed close by, would get in either at Curtis Switch and get out at the cabin or take off from the cabin and float to Horseshoe Bend when the dam released. We also spent a good deal of time on the expansive back porch which offers plenty of options for sitting and relaxing or eating. Several afternoons it rained and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs watching it and hearing it on the roof.If you enjoy fishing you can do so from the bank behind the house or wade into the river.Inside is comfortable, tastefully decorated and well appointed. This was our 11th year vacationing in Blue Ridge and we hope to continue to do so and would love to stay here again!

Toccoa river cabin

Beautiful cabin. Cabin was clean, only few minor problems. Few outlets didn’t work, hot tub jets don’t work and WiFi is horrible. But for the cabin life it was awesome. Steep roads leading to property, after it snowed everyone was trapped on that side of the mountain and had to wait until the snow/ice melted, so make sure to have plenty of groceries if snow is in the forecast for your stay.

Decorated beautifully for christmas

Overall it was a nice experience. The cabin was decorated beautifully for the holidays including a Christmas tree. Close to downtown. Check in was a breeze. Things to consider, there is zero Wi-Fi. To check messages or voicemail we had to leave the cabin. Appliances took forever to cook anything, including microwave. Hot tub was warm but was not working. Overall though it was a nice getaway.
