- Late check-out fee of $50 will be applied if you have not vacated the property 30 minutes after 10 AM check out unless prior permission is granted from the host.

Lovely house in a quiet street on the edge of Calgary. We found it to be very conveniently located for everything - there's easy access to the 1A highway if you're heading west, or into Calgary itself (there's a nearly park-n-ride for the LRT). There's a small shopping mall nearby with a supermarket. The house itself has everything you'd want & expect from a holiday home.

Calgary Bound

The property, situated in beautiful Rocky Ridge is 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom townhouse. It is on a quiet street with ample parking for three vehicles. It has all the amenities of home...dishwasher, air conditioner, great kitchen and living area. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds view of natutre.

Loved the property and the location

Our family of 7 adults stayed 5 nights. Zero complaints. The house was clean, comfortable beds, huge towels, laundry worked and a great kitchen. We parked in the garage. Internet was quick. We often travel to Calgary to visit family and would definitely stay again.

Good Property, but Poor Communication

The house was in a good location and clean but needs some improvement. Communication with the host was poor, rarely responding via the VRBO app. VRBO messages were generic and not customized and designed to be used across multiple hosting services. The check out process was difficult due to the host’s unresponsiveness.The pictures showed a closet with sheets and towels, but these were locked up. There were no sheets set out for the pull-out bed set out. We had to call the host, who gave us access codes to get the sheets but acted like we were receiving a huge favor. When we received the code, he asked us not to take extra towels. One towel per guest for a week is stingy at best. We laundered our one towel per guest several times, which is okay but inconvenient. The amenities advertised a grill. We purchased food to use the grill, but the propane tank was empty, and the grill was incredibly dirty. The host suggested we swap out the propane tank at the local store and we would be reimbursed. We significantly changed our plans as that did not work for us. The garbage bins are in a HOA common area, and we had to contact the host for a code, so we didn’t leave trash bags in the garage. The experience was damaged because of the host not being responsive and unwilling to solve some simple and significant problems that are not all described here. The solutions were left to us to address.

Great house--Polyester Sheets

This is a lovely house—part of a duplex—in a very quiet family neighborhood. It was easy to arrive and gain access around 11:30 pm with an entry code for the door. The hardest part was finding it since the address number isn’t consecutive to the next door neighbors and we arrived in the dark in a drizzle. It might help if the owner could place the number on top of the garage?The house was nice and clean but the main issue when we went to get into bed was finding polyester sheets. I discovered that using the VRBO message site didn’t work, so I texted Jad on WhatsApp. His first reply was “Sorry the sheets that are there are the only ones we use.” He seemed to think that they WERE cotton. After a few messages back and forth he arranged to have a 100% cotton set for each of our beds delivered. They arrived on day four of our 7 night stay. I was sleeping in between cotton towels up until then so it was a welcome relief.I loved the wood floors and the whole house is light and airy and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped. We loved finding the house stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toilet paper, facial tissue, paper towels, dish & dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, salt, pepper and sugar. The coffeemaker is a Keurig. Nearby is a Co-op grocery store with an attached gas station and liquor store. There is a Sobeys grocery 3 ½ km away. I would stay here again -- with a guarantee of cotton sheets!

Zero surprises, great location and if you love seeing wild life there was tons of rabbits and deer. Every night at 8-9pm 4 deer came right up to the backyard. My kids loved it.
