very clean, extra coffee,filters seasonings, soaps , paper products etc greatly appreciated. Weā€™ve stayed in many other units here but this was the nicest to date.I must tell you of a mishap I had with the shelf in the garage resulting in it being bent. Hopefully it can be straightened easily. Sorry!

Amazing stay!

We had a week long stay as a couple and really enjoyed the location of this condo. So close to excellent beaches and access to the beach club was definitely a plus. The pool and hot tub area were a nice addition for end of the day relaxing. The condo was spotless and we enjoyed having our meals out on the lanai.

Perfect location for family vacation, clean and comfortable condo

We had a wonderful time here. The location was perfect, beautiful walk through lava rock and fishponds to the private beach. Petroglyph park was super close, and great snorkeling and boogie boarding beaches a short drive away. The condo itself is very well appointed, nice kitchen and outdoor patio/grill area. It's in a very quiet and private area, we felt like we were the only people there even though most of the condos appeared to be occupied. Would highly recommend and hope we can stay there again!

Wonderful spot!

This is probably one of the nicest VRBOā€™s we have stayed in. The location is great and condo is beautiful. It was spotless and really felt like home. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub and walking all the trails. Anything and everything we needed was in the condo. We only wish we had another week in beautiful HI.

The most offensive odor was present when we opened the door to our unit. I immediately contacted Sara, at the property management company and explained that it appeared the a/c vents were filthy and required servicing. The air was at 80 degrees which did not help matters. We weren't sure if the odor was a result of old carpet that needs replacement or a combination of that and the a/c ducting which had apparently not been cleaned in years! We immediately experienced issues from the unhealthy air and opened doors and purchased a scented candle from the grocery store. The maintenance man arrived to check the a/c and was helpful, yet unable to locate the filter in order to change it. He removed the air intake and return grids on ceiling and walls and tried his best to clean them. We sent Sara a photo of the filthy a/c intakes and returns and she scheduled someone to check it the following day. She also had the carpets shampooed the next day. The old carpet needs to be replaced with hardwood or tile to prevent odor and improve cleanliness. The unit needs to be freshly painted , and most of all, the a/c ducting needs a complete thorough professional cleaning, not simple a new filter (which was long overdue!) Even after filter replacement , the odor still lingered and made it very unpleasant for the duration of our stay. For the price of this rental, we could have enjoyed a 4 or 5 star hotel with much nicer amenities and no foal odor. We were extremely disappointed with the rental

Beautiful

This is a fully tropically decorated condo and beautiful throughout. The gardens surrounding the condos are lush and gorgeous. Itā€™s really nice having private beach access to Mauni Launi Beach Club at Makaiwa Bay. Nice cove beach and snorkeling. We wil be back again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home! The descriptions are spot on. Access to the pool, beautiful beach within walking distance thru neat little paths or drive around to beach club with access there to the cabanas and lounge chairs. Nice quiet lanai for the evenings when you just want to relax! We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to others!

Beautiful!

The complex is lush and beautiful, and the unit itself is perfect! The furnishings are very nice with a comfortable couch and chairs, nice large screen tv, and kitchen has everything you need (including a wine fridge!). The pool is a tropical oasis and we loved hanging out and cooling off in the afternoon after a day at the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas worked well (no broken zippers on the chairs!). Weā€™ll definitely return!

Loved the Palm Villas

The property is as pictured, in a word beautiful. Surrounding grounds, pool, vegetation are are perfectly maintained. Property owners are a treat to deal with, of note we had absolutely no issues booking, checking in, or worrying about a covid return and what that may look like. The garage has all the beach necessities a family could ask for. All in all a great vacation. Not wanting to leave says it all!!

Another Fabulous Vacation!

This is our 4th time staying in this condo...so we obviously love it! It's immaculately clean upon arrival, the property manager is responsive when needed (didn't need them), and the owner is great about replacing older things with newer well in advance of need -- this year a brand new fridge and couch! The condo is quiet, nearest to the beach, the pool is wonderful (and never crowded), and the grounds are simply spectacular...a tropical paradise! We love it here and recommend it wholeheartedly! Quiet condo in well-maintained condo complex

Sweet location with a sunset view across the park and fish ponds. Our kids found the walk to the beach through the park and the fish pond system more engaging than other "formal" parks and historic sites we visited on our trip. The early risers headed to Mauna Lani Beach Club after breakfast on the patio. The old teenager would then walk through the fish ponds in the late morning. Snorkelling in the bay was some of the best we had on our trip due to murk and big surf at other bigger beaches. Saw an eagle ray, turtles, eels, and many types and sizes of fish. Also did some fishing in the area and did well whipping from shore. Best part of the condo? QUIET complex, QUIET building, QUIET pool and hot tub area. It often felt like we were the only ones there. Great home base to explore the beachy, drier side of the island north of the Kona traffic. Highly recommend this rental unit for families (up to 6 as long as the kids can sleep 2 on a bed and 2 on the pullout hide-a-bed) or two couples travelling together. Super awesome!!

Comfortable and quiet - great place to stay on the Big Island

Very nice condo -- we had a wonderful time. Comfortable and quiet. Extremely well equipped -- owners have thought of everything you might need, and then some! The kitchen is nicely laid out, and the whole unit is very well lit inside, which we appreciate. The garage is a bit small, as they note, but we had no problem parking our rental car in there (a Nissan Sentra). We used the wifi for some streaming, and I used it for some work, and it worked fine for us. The pool is small but very nice and just a few steps away. Note that the beach is about a 15 minute walk which takes you through a very cool historic park across an ancient lava flow. There are some wonderful restaurants nearby -- owners can provide excellent advice on these.
