Acadia Bayside Cottage is a very clean, private, and well-maintained cottage steps to the shore, with lots of light and warmth, and amazing water views from every room!

4 Heat pump/AC units (one in each bedroom and two in common areas), two gas fireplace stoves for colder weather; two bedrooms (King, and Queen), each with an adjacent bathroom. Kitchen, dining room with water views. Spacious Sunroom with Games and a Smart Roku TV where guests may log into their own streaming or cable service accounts.

Enjoy watching the tide come and go from the Outdoor decks and stone garden with outdoor seating.

Acadia Bayside Cottage is nestled beside a grove of tall pines. Relax on the bluff overlooking the bay. Witness seals, bald eagles, blue heron and osprey from the cottage. Peaceful and private, yet close to all area amenities of the Acadia region.

By car, our cottage is approximately:

10 min to seafood restaurants/lobster pounds just off Route 3 in Trenton along the route you'd follow onto Mount Desert Island (MDI).

10 min to the head of Mount Desert Island which is an area known as the Town Hill section of Bar Harbor.

20 min to the main Acadia National Park entrance and Hulls Cove Visitor's Center.

25 min to downtown Bar Harbor where there are many restaurants & shops, pharmacies, movie theater, grocery stores, and much more.

Many hiking & biking trails are within a 20-30 min drive. (trails and carriage roads can be accessed all over Mount Desert Island)

10 min to Ellsworth - where you'll find restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, pharmacies, Walmart, TJ Maxx, L.L. Bean, and other stores. Main Street in Ellsworth, which leads down to a small bridge & river, is a walkable part of this downtown with interesting shops and restaurants.

You'll find restaurants along both sides of Main Street. The Union River Lobster Pot (excellent sea food!) is just over the Union River bridge and nestled alongside the river with indoor and outdoor seating.
