This has been one of our absolute favorite stays. Incredible views, very comfortable for our whole family, well stocked kitchen supplies and linens, and great activities for the kids. We loved waking up to the gorgeous views of the lake, taking the kayaks out, and enjoying fireside evenings together. Thank you for lifelong memories with our family.

What a beautiful home and location! The views were incredible and the house was perfect for our family. It was a great location to be able to get to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. We absolutely loved sitting in the sunroom taking in the views. We would definitely return to this home again.

This location was perfect as we wanted to just experience Maine and also go to Acadia. It was nice and quiet and it was beautiful to see the tide come in and out of the cove that we were staying in.

Beautiful house with a spacious yard that was great for the dog to run around on. Backyard backs to the water which provided a beautiful view to look at in between my trips back-and-forth to Acadia. The sunroom was perfect with many windows to enjoy the view while still being protected and comfy inside. All the amenities you would need are there for the kitchen. Definitely a great base for my dog and I for our trip to Acadia. Very peaceful! I definitely recommend

Acadia adventure

Fantastic location with a beautiful view, and access to the water for kayaking and paddle boarding. Close to Acadia for lots of hiking. The property is very well apointed, loved the sun room, and very comfortable beds!

A Vacation to Remember

We loved our stay at Mill Cove. The property is beautiful and peaceful and the house is very well equipped. The location was perfect with shopping and eateries in nearby Ellsworth, and not too far to Bar Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula and Blue Hill. We would return in a heartbeat.

Maine family vacation

This home had everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table and kayaks. The location is perfect for shopping in Elllsworth and hiking in Acadia. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

June vacation

Overall we loved this place! It was so very clean, spacious and well stocked with a beautiful view. We used the kayaks and the ping pong table. Location was ideal! We travelled to Schoodic Point one day, south to Belfast one day and the rest of the days we explored Acadia. We would love to stay here again!

Tranquil with an amazing view!

We loved coming back to this beautiful clean home after a long day of hiking and having all of the comforts of home. The beds were so comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful! Loved drinking coffee on the back porch in the mornings.

Visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor

We enjoyed this house as a location from which to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It was close enough to these locations while not being right in the crowds. A peaceful location with a nice view. The inside of the house was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed for a two week stay. My family enjoyed the home and that it was located on a cove with kayaks. When we did venture out to site see the grandchildren couldn’t wait to get back to the property to play outside and explore the cove. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in Maine.

There is no way we could have asked for a better place to spend our vacation in Acadia, than at this place. The quiet. The solitude. The fire pit. The amenities. Just the best! Got lucky and watched a pod of seals feeding and a family of bald eagles for hours on our last night.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful views!

We loved our stay. The house is very clean and spacious. The icing on the cake? The private shoreline just in front of the house. Our kids spent hours throwing rocks in the water! The house is ideally located, perfect if you want to explore Acadia NP. And close to lots of shops and amenities. Highly recommend !

Beautiful home!

The house was absolutely amazing! The view, the cleanliness and the comforting beds made it one of the best vacation homes we have ever stayed in! The owners left nothing out to enable us to enjoy our first Maine trip without any hiccups. Highly recommend this home - plus to be able to bring our sweet 14 year old cockapoo was a huge plus!
