Very peaceful environment. Small and peaceful lake. We enjoyed kayaking, tubing and nice fire pit family time. Very quiet street. Beautiful view!Enjoyed the lake thoroughly including the loons!Hope to come back again!

This was a beautiful house and just the right distance from everything we wanted to do around Portland. And the owners were very gracious and helpful. No issues whatsoever.

I was amazed with this property. Rustic and modern at the same time. Fully stocked with water sport equipment outside and games inside. Beautiful country location.There is a small store nearby and restaurants in the next town.

This meticulously maintained property was our introduction to VRBO. It was so much more than we expected. We actually brought things we didn’t even need, like boxes of tissues for each room, but they were already there. The owners provide a detailed welcome write up with everything you need to know. We were there for a family get together on a different pond, so we didn’t use many of the amenities, but the choices were incredible for anyone who wants a classic Maine lake experience.

Very nice place , we enjoyed the lake. A few disappointments. Bedroom upstairs is not really private ok for kids not for couples. Glider broken being fixed but didn’t get to enjoy. The screen house down by lake is wonderful. Enjoyed the kayaking on the lake saw loons, bald eagle. The host is excellent keeps you informed and messages you if any problems right away. Canoe did leak but issue being addressed.Loved drinking my coffee each morning down by the lake.

A lovely place to stay. Clean and met all our basic needs. We liked the open loft area with the hammock chair, little desk and balcony. And we especially enjoyed eating outside and taking in the beautiful view of the lake. Having a canoe and kayaks to use was wonderful.Dennet was a very welcoming and gracious host. He kindly accommodated our request for an earlier check-in and he was there to greet us upon our arrival to give us some helpful information about the house. We had been excited about playing ping pong and fooz ball in the basement, but found it to be a bit dingy and musty smelling down there, so we didn’t go down there much. Other than that it was very comfortable for the 6 of us and we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Elopement getaway

This cozy lakeside cabin was perfect for our weekend elopement in the mountains. The fireplace was so cozy and the kids enjoyed playing in the game room. The host was amazing amd the property was clean with comfortable seating and sleeping quarters. Def recommend!

Lovely Lale House

Four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) went up for the week of 4th of July and had a wonderful time. The house itself was charming, immaculately clean, stocked with everything we needed, and had plenty of space for the four of us. We spent most of our time at the lakefront area, lounging in reclining chairs and swimming all day. Couldn't recommend it more highly, my kids are already clamoring to go back!

From the moment we arrived and the host met us to review particulars about the property the communication was excellent. The property was exactly as described and met the needs of our family perfectly. It was clean with fresh towels and linens for every guest. The lakefront portion of the property exceeded all our expectations! We spent all day by the lake using the kayaks and floats and fishing off the dock. The patio area with large umbrella and screen house next to the lake was a restful area at night to enjoy the loon calls. We loved everything about this property and have already booked our vacation there for next year. Thank you Dennet for being an amazing host.

Since our family rarely goes on vacation, we had high hopes for this trip, and it exceeded every single one of them! The lake view was gorgeous, and the private beach was an absolute highlight. Inside, the home was spotless and fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Every room was wonderfully unique and comfortable for the whole family. We are already looking forward to our next stay! Definitely a 5 star experience.
