Our Casita is an inviting vacation rental located in Taos, New Mexico. The two bedroom, two bath house offers breathtaking views of sunsets off the back portal, and east views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We provide our guests with the utmost comfort by supplying them with organic sheets, towels, mattresses and bed pillows. We also use non-toxic cleaning products and provide non-toxic soaps. The kitchen is appointed with fiesta ware, stainless cookware & a non-toxic non-stick frying pan. Mexican glassware and more.

The house is conveniently located approximately 4 miles from the Taos Plaza and Taos Country Club golf course, making it the perfect location for a getaway. We are also located 22 miles from the Taos Ski Valley. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, our Casita is the perfect home away from home.

Gorgeous Taos vacation rental

Highly recommend this beautiful, well appointed casita!! It is stylish, comfortable, and a fantastic location for adventures around the Taos area. Hosts were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra touches that made us feel at home during our stay. Convenient to ski areas and local restaurants and shopping.

Perfect Stay for Family Spring Break

We absolutely love staying in this Casita. The home was stunning, spotless and spacious for our family of four plus pet. It was brimming with beautiful, special touches and the home owners were extremely kind and communicative. 10/10 experience and location for Taos Spring Break ski trip. Great Escape

We ate out, we skied, we played games. This was the perfect spot for all of it! The house was well stocked and we loved every bit of it!

Gem of a rental!

This is a great rental! So much character! Great location with proximity to downtown and skiing in Sipapu. Close to the Gorge. We had an amazing stay here and can’t wait to come back! Host was easy to access for communication and replied so quickly. Everything about this was wonderful!

Katy’s quiet casa

What a delightful, quiet, and cozy little house! It’s an excellent launchpad for adventures of all sorts: visit Taos, explore restaurants, and enjoy the New Mexico outdoors. It’s outside of town and that’s just lovely: close enough for adventure, remote for relaxing and stargazing.

Ski extravaganza

Property is beautiful with outstanding view of mountains along with exceptional sunrises. The back porch is the bomb for BBQ and sunsets.Thanks for sharing with us. Skiing was Outstanding for a couple of old Texans who have skied Taos for 45 Years. Thanks for such a great place.

Taos casita Christmas get away 🎿

There’s no words to describe how beautiful is the house , you can tell Katy put love in every single detail , we had everything and more to enjoy our little ski vacay with our dogs, everything is close by , Katy was the best host ever , we are defending going back next year ❤️..

Relaxation at Casita Cimmaron

Very clean comfortable stylish Casita. Big yard and ample parking. Host was very helpful with check-in and directions. A little hard to find at night. We will stay here again!

Weekend Retreat

Katy’s place was the perfect home away from home. Beautifully decorated in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous mountain views. The big fenced backyard was a nice bonus while traveling with our dog. The host was very thoughtful with chips and salsa upon arrival and supplied coffee and creamer. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect New Mexico hospitality experience

This property is beautiful! Like new, very clean, and had everything we needed. Perfect amount of space for our family of four. The views are amazing! We loved sitting outside on the patio, taking in the scenery. The host was an excellent communicator. Cannot recommend enough!

A True Delight

This charming and cozy casita exceeded our expectations! Conveniently located yet has a quiet and rural feel. There was nothing that hasn’t been thought of in making this a very comfortable stay. Soft sheets, fluffy towels, beautiful dishware and exquisite decor! Katy is a wonderful hostess that goes out of her way to make your stay feel extra special!

Home away from home!

This house felt brand new! 5+ Stars, for sure. The decor was beautiful and it had everything we needed (and more). The sunrise view over the mountains is beautiful. The host was very clear, prompt to reply, and accommodating. If/when back to Taos we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family casita for a Taos trip`

Katy was incredibly responsive, both proactive and responding almost immediately to any email or text inquiry. The house was immaculate, well set-up and perfect for a weekend with our 2 kids and dog exploring Taos. Location also had a great view from the back yard and close enough to both Taos and local attractions like the Gorge where you didn't feel like you needed to pack up for the day and could come back for quick breaks, etc. Overall a great experience and Katy delivered as advertised!

Lovely casita with amazing sunset views

We enjoyed this lovely casita. We watched the sunsets from the back patio most evenings while our pup romped in the fenced yard. Katy was a wonderful host - easy to contact and very responsive. The place was clean, modern and well stocked. Only about 10 minutes from the plaza. Lots of road construction while we were there, and streets are not well marked, but spend a little time with a map and you can by pass a lot of the construction on the main roadways. Highly recommend!

Near perfect

My husband and I stayed at the casita while visiting my son. We found the owner incredibly flexible and accommodating. The house was near perfect for us. Near only in the sense that we needed some places to put our clothes either on or in. There were no chest of drawers. So we used the 2nd bedroom as a dressing room. Other than that, and the road construction that was a pain, our stay was great.

Cute little place!

Everything was very clean. Casita was easy to find and very cute, sunny and new. Instructions were clear and succinct (thank you!). Everything was in good working order. Host was super responsive and nice. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds as advertised. If you prefer a firmer mattress, we'd suggest taking the front room vs. the back room (however, the back has the ensuite bathroom so you have choices). The place is very cheerful and tastefully decorated. Back yard is completely fenced. Thanks for all your help and kindness. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home!

The owner is incredibly thoughtful and the home has well-thought-out details and supplies. The house manual was a nice reference too. There was some nice stargazing from the backyard and beautiful mountain views. It was nicely well stocked - coffee, plates, toilet paper, tissues, etc. The only thing I can think of to improve it would be a couple of extra sleeping pillows. The owner is growing some nice landscaping plants so I was a bit worried when the neighborhood cat came by and started eating one. No worries, it was after the catnip and the owner knew all about it.
