The property and house were clean and well maintained. The deck and fire pit area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the mountain views. Secluded location with fairly easy access. Will definitely return.

Beautiful cabin with absolutely stunning view. This is probably the prettiest cabin I've stayed in this far with the most beautiful view. I was impressed with how clean the floors are. I usually don't go barefoot because I don't like my feet getting dirty but the floors, even the deck, was very clean. The hot tub was very big and had a great view of the mountains from the hot tub. We only stayed one night for a weekend getaway for our anniversary but I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to stay here again.

If you're wanting peace, quiet, and privacy, this is the place! The house and property are very clean with great amenities and fully equipped with all you need. The views from the patio are absolutely incredible. I haven't been able to relax like that in years so we are already planning a return trip next summer to escape this Texas heat!

We loved our stay at The Broken Twig. It’s quite a drive up the mountain to get there, so be aware of that and drive an appropriate vehicle that can handle it. Very comfortable furniture, both indoors and out, and the hot tub was so nice in the evenings after an active day. I will definitely book again.

Wonderful cabin with nice views, great outdoor firepit sitting area(unfortunately, we were not able to use because of a burn ban) and clean. Great communication from the owner and easy check in check out process. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful setting with mountain views and the sound of the creek flowing down in the holler. We will return!

This was one of our favorite VRBO properties we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful! The photos do not do it justice. It is so lovely! Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The grounds were gorgeous. Long range mountain views from the porch and fire pit area. Comfortable outdoor furniture. The fire pit is a solo-style fire pit similar to one we have a home, so we were very familiar with it. They make great fires, easy to get burning and lots of heat. The hot tub looked inviting, but unfortunately, I never got around to using it this trip. Maybe next time! The kitchen was very well-stocked, so cooking at home would be a delight! We personally did not do much cooking during our weekend stay, but I did notice the nice touches, obviously from someone who cooks and knows what you need. Good quality cookware, sharp chef’s knives (never have good knives in rentals!), all the necessary kitchen gadgets. The beds were amazing! We were a group of 2 couples. My husband and I slept on one of the 2 queen beds in the loft bedroom, and I meant to look and see what brand of mattress and mattress pad they had, because it was the best sleep ever, but I forgot to check before we left. Our friends in the master king bed were also pleased. Both bedrooms have full baths. The owner is super-helpful, answered all my questions quickly, and was amazingly responsive when we had a minor issue with plumbing during our stay and had someone out there on a Saturday. We will definitely book again!

The Broken Twig is quiet, peaceful, private, and very nicely furnished. All of the electronics are new and modern. The WI FI easily connected to my phone. TV’s have a gazillion channels available. Porches were magical. It is too easy to get lost in book ,as well as, bottle. lolI never tried the hot tub, the fire pit with tunes, called to me every night. With no ambient light in the night sky, the moon and stars appear brighter and closer. Meticulous landscaping adorn the property. The property management is Tip Top and 1st rate. They checked in via VRBO occasionally to make sure everything was perfect. Everyone I spoke with in the greater Alarka community was super friendly and down to earth. They made me feel like I was one of them, not a stranger. It reminded me of being in Mayberry.The only negative thing I can say , is that I had to pack up and head back to reality today. I’m already perusing the calendar, looking forward to the next time!

Best Cabin yet!

We loved this cabin. It was so clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was such a beautiful view. We had our 2 year old with us and she loved it. We will definitely come back! We have stayed in Bryson city many times, this was by far the best cabin we have stayed at!

Beautiful cabin with great views

The cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub appears to be well maintained. The long range Mountain View’s and quiet chirping birds are so relaxing. There are some very steep road and while most are paved 2 were gravel so keep that in mind when weather is rough. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.
