Luxury log cabin located in Bryson Cityā€™s wonderful Deep Creek community atop your own private mountain. Panoramic views of deep creek valley with the sounds of deep creekā€™s rushing water below. Only a minute from the great smoky mountains national park, where you can tube deep creek, fish, swim, hike, and see picturesque waterfalls. Relax in the Hot Tub on the covered deck with an awesome mountain view. Black Bear Lodge accommodates up to 6 guests.
This is a true log cabin with hardwood floors, tongue and groove walls and ceilings. Cabin is a three bedroom ranch plan with huge ā€œAā€ frame middle with lots of glass and awesome views from inside. Master bedroom has a king sized bed with stone shower for two in the private bath. Master also has a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The other two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and share a bathroom.
The middle has a kitchen, dining area, eat in island, separate laundry room with washer/dryer, fireplace and the wrap around porch. The great room has soaring cathedral ceilings with lots of windows, new leather furniture, gas log fireplace and HD flat screen TV with a DVD library. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is well appointed with most everything you would need to prepare a gourmet meal. The dining area has a large custom made log table to enjoy your meals with the whole family.

Outside is a private fire pit with seating where you can roast marshmellows and make somores. Lots of covered decking where you can relax and gaze over the mountains or read a book.
Black Bear Lodge is all about the location. Conveniently located to all the attractions. The great smoky national park entrance, Tubing Deep Creek and train depot are each only 1-mile away. The panoramic views from the wrap around porch are breath taking. Most activities are very close by:

Everything was excellent except first night Daughter went to open shower curtain in little bathroom and it fell It was broke we tried to fix it but could not. But we all just took turns in cave shower which was outstanding. Thanks to all of your team for making sure our stay was one to remember! And we will rent again definitely !

Very pleasant experience from check in to check out. Owners were easy to commwith and very helpful. Would highly recommend this rental. The views were amazing! We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We will definitely book a stay again.

Great Getaway Cabin

We only had 2 days to stay at this beautiful cabin, but we maximized our time. Great Cabin. Great Host. Great Views. Our stay and the cabin was everything we hoped for and more.

Weekend trip

We had a great time in this wonderful cabin. The place was clean and all the necessities were provided. We loved the large porch and beautiful view, and all of us (4) said we would definitely stay here again.

Never disappoints

I stayed in Black Bear Lodge in 2022 and Sweet Tā€™s in 2023. So when the whole family wanted to vacation together, I knew exactly where to go. It was fantastic. Everyone loved the location, the cabins and the views. They have all sent pictures to social media. If you are looking for a place that multiple generations can enjoy and come together, this is it! And finally, I canā€™t say enough positive things about the host. Over multiple years he has been great.

Sister Birthday

This was our 2nd time staying in the cabin for my sistwrs Bday weekend. The views are amazing, the cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable and inviting. Loved the black bear touches all around the rooms. The Jacuzzi was just right for a relaxing evening after horseback riding. The beds were very comfortable, we joked about being goldie locks. We would definitely be back.

Perfect cabin getaway

We booked this as a friend group of three for a white water rafting trip. We wanted a beautiful cabin with a beautiful mountain view, a hot tub and close proximity to downtown Bryson city. And it hit all of our requirements and plus more. I really like the way they decorated the cabin. It felt simple and professional rather than something a grandma would pick out. We all enjoyed how spacious and relaxing the rocking chairs with the view were. We are all missing that view and talking about coming back and rebooking for another time.Thank you for a nice experience.

Cozy Black Bear Lodge

Very nice property with covered porches, warm and cozy fireplace, roomy, open floor plan, good parking, comfy beds for excellent nightā€™s sleep.Excellent location for activities in the area. Recommend brighter lighting in all house lights/lamps. Stair light out on steps which is a trip hazard.

Breath of fresh air

Lovely cabin with everything we could need, and then some. It was easy to get back into town for dining, and to Cherokee for sightseeing. The road up to the could be daunting at first, and I wouldn't want to go up after dark for the first time, but we had no issue in daytime.The view from the front porch rocking chairs is worth the trip in itself. There is lots of space for a family to be comfortable here, enjoying the amenities and privacy.

Perfect Cabin!

Wonderful stay for our trip to the Polar Express. Beautiful and cozy, very detailed directions to get to the cabin. We loved that it was one level and the views were amazing as well as the porch. Highly recommend!
