Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is GORGEOUS and the rental was perfect!! It was clean, bright, and so perfect for our getaway. The property it’s on is amazing. Easy beach access and plenty of pools to choose from. It’s only 20 minutes from the town of Gulf Shores. There also is a coffee shop within walking distance from the rental, and convenience stores a quick drive away. Truly such an amazing property and we hope to come back soon!!

We were there during the off season, so I can't imagine how hectic checking in or out would have been with only one elevator for two upper floors. Otherwise, the stay was amazing! The heat could have let up, for sure.

Nice Condo in Gulf Shores - has potential!

This condo is in the perfect spot, we truly enjoyed the location and the Plantation Resort. Be mindful that it is about 30 minutes to your “town” area, but we weren’t bothered by that! This condo has true potential, but it does need some upgrades. The bed in the loft, as well as the twin beds are pretty hard and could be replaced. Nothing makes for a better vacation week than nice beds! The cleanliness of the property could be stepped up a notch, the loft seemed like it had been forgotten about when properly cleaned. There was sand in the bed, as well as the floor upon arrival. Otherwise, it was a good stay and at a decent price!

Relaxing stay

Easy access to pool, hot tub and beach. Beautiful views of the Beach from the Condo. Property Manager Jackie, answered my phone calls promptly, when I reached out to her with questions.

Great location but unit needs care

Great location. Beach awesome. Unit had issues… 1) mold on shower curtain in MB; 2) MB vent fan rattles; 3) light above stove does not work; and 4) frying pans so worn that the non-stick surface was peeling so they cannot be used.

Family Beach Trip

We loved this little condo and resort property. There were pools any direction we went on the property and the beach access is very convenient to this unit. The unit is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but we fit just fine! The property management company was very accommodating. Thanks for a great week!

Great views.

Location was great! Condo is positioned between 3 pools and beach access was very close. Views from balcony and master were unobstructed. Loft was super cute ( my kids loved it the most). Air conditioning worked great for a 3rd floor unit. Balcony was great for relaxing. Overall, very enjoyable and stress free location. Very kid friendly.

Great location/beach view

The location was nice to be away from the tourist shops yet not far to drive in to town. The unit is small but worked great for mom/daughter girls trip. Sassy Bass restaurant on property has good food. Liked the pools/hot tub behind the condos vs using the main facilities. Wish unit was stocked with basic essentials like liquid hand/dish soap and more than 1 roll tp. Beautiful view and short walk to beach. Relaxing trip.

Fees, old furniture, subpar condition, host failed to notify of closed spa.

Other reviewers have touched on what to like about this property. However, there are some noteworthy situations to warn about: 1. OLD STAINED FURNITURE: Stains on the unattractive green chairs, laminate tops peeling and bubbling off of the dresser, bedroom end tables from an 80s hotel room. The pictures show the furniture that you will see, just be aware that it's quite unattractive in person. 2. BEWARE THE FEES: damage insurance and parking fees. The property owner requires you to add insurance to your booking to cover any property damage during your stay. This is not optional and comes up as you are booking on VRBO. There is also a $20/per vehicle parking fee for your stay. This is NOT SPECIFIED before you book, so it's a true hidden fee. Feels sour since you're already paying te host, cleaning, property, and damage fees. This brings the average per night price up a significant amount so the amount you're viewing on the VRBO search is NOT EVEN IN THE BALLPARK to what you will pay for your rental. 3. DAMAGE ON PROPERTY: broken picture frame, board coming up on deck (major trip hazard), bathroom sink drain that doesn't drain right, peeling laminate table. I hate being petty about issues, but I paid a good sum of money for this rental and expected things to not be broken. I contacted the host who did, to be fair, ask if she should send someone out to take care of the issues. We only had a short stay so it was a moot point to have it repaired during our trip. But I notice that another reviewer from a previous month mentioned the board coming up on the deck issue. The host should have remedied this. 4. CLEANLINESS: everything in the condo was clean, except for the stained living room furniture and fridge which had nasty orange splatter stains all over it. This is a minor issue as I know these things happen, except that I paid a sum for cleaning fees. This is subpar and why I give a low cleaning score. If I pay for it I expect it to be clean on arrival. I don't go on vacation to deal with rental issues, lol. 5. SPA CLOSED: the spa was closed during our stay for maintenance. I understand this happens sometimes. However, THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION ABOUT THIS FROM THE HOST. This is a listed amenity that was not provided. It's a great location, but I cannot recommend this property

Great location in Fort Morgan

We had a great experience renting this condo. Needs some updating to furniture, appliances, pots and pans etc. Room is as described. Balcony has beach view and easy access to pools and beach. Jackie was easy to get ahold of prior to our arrival and didn't need anything while we were there.
