We also sincerely apologize that your experience with our management team was not what you expected. We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly and we truly do empathize with guests when plans shift. In this case your cancellation request was received just four days prior to your arrival. Our cancellation policy states that reservations are non-refundable within 30 days of arrival, with the exception of the cleaning fee, taxes, and damage waiver fee. These policies are established to provide consistency and fairness for all guests and property owners, and unfortunately, we are not able to make full-refund exceptions within the established non-refundable cancellation timeframe. We certainly never want a guest to feel that we are unwilling to help or that we are inflexible. We simply have an obligation to uphold the agreed-upon reservation terms once a booking enters the non-refundable period. We also appreciate you bringing the light bulbs to our attention. We have replaced all of the lightbulbs in the home. Thank you again for recognizing the home and the care the owners put into creating a comfortable space for larger groups.
