Nice, clean place. The "watch for snakes" signs were kind of unnerving, and I sure wouldn't walk to the beach from there, but it was a short drive to the public beach access. Overall, a good place to stay.

Had an overall great experience! The tv was set to relaxing music upon check-in so it felt nice and welcoming. The beds were comfy and clean. We enjoyed the sunset on the spacious balcony. Only 2 things I wish we could change but no fault of the owner: foot traffic from unit above got very annoying, and that walk to the beach in July heat was not for the faint of heart.

We're so happy you had a great stay! We love that you noticed the little welcome touches, enjoyed the comfy beds, and got to catch a beautiful sunset from the balcony. And we completely get it—summer walks to the beach can feel a lot longer in the July heat, and upstairs neighbors can sometimes be part of condo life. Convenient location. Clean. Pet friendly. Well appointed. Heated pool was nice on a cold Spring Break Day. Boardwalk to beach was a short drive. No complaints on stay other than it did not sleep 6 comfortably. The twin futon-style foldout beds were very uncomfortable, even for teens. One ended up sleeping on the couch. Just keep it in mind if you are expecting a better sleeping arrangement. We had 4 adults and a 13 and 15-yr old.

Nice little place to stay

Our biggest complain was the chairs that turn into beds in the living room were VERY uncomfortable. To the point they couldn't be used during our stay, But we made it work.

Place was okay for the price

Price was okay for the space, place was not 100% clean, they left a used soap bar with a hair in one of the showers. Some dishes were dirty in the cabinets. bed was comfortable, place was ok for short getaway but the walk to the beach was a bit long and inconvenient if you have kids

We chose this listing based on location. We wanted soemthing that felt more secluded. We paid more to stay here. Unfortunately the condo is in need of repairs. The floor is slanted and the flooring is buckling. The wood bridge to the beach is very rickety and seems unsafe. I didn’t feel comfortable taking my kids on it after the first time. Since we paid more for this place based on the location and beach access, I would not have chosen it if I had known.Now am I saying it isn’t an acceptable place? Not at all. I just wasn’t expecting the condition and would not have spent more to stay here. The beds are comfortable and there’s a tv in each room. They also had a booster high chair which was nice.

Only problem we had was the fold out twin beds are better suited for kids. We purchased an air mattress so 5th adult could have a place to sleep.there is beach access but it's quite a walk pass stinky dumpsters from neighboring property. Driving to the beach wasn't bad.i would stay here again.

The condo was perfect for our stay with our kids! Fully stocked with anything we needed to stay!

The property was great for our family and what we were looking for! Staff were kind and great help, the condo was set up super cute and the pool was clean and not too crowded. The check in was a little messy didn’t get any info until we reached out and couldn’t check in until after check in time as the cleaners were swamped she did a great job but some things were overlooked as far as sweeping under tables and chairs etc as she was rushed, not her fault. They thought of almost everything except for extra bedding for the pull outs in the living room. So that kind of sucked having to buy that but we also could have come more prepared. We would rent it again next time

Upon entering the residence, there were several dead cockroaches. There was only one set of towels per guest for 3 days and the sink in the master bath barely poured water and the pipes underneath were leaking. The rental company was very responsive however but will stay at another place next time.

Jack's condo was spacious and a wonderful location to get away from the spring break partiers. While this condo is close to the road (you hear the traffic at night), the walk to the beach is not too far and you can easily drive up to the boardwalk and park your car on the private drive. A few issues brought the rating down for us as the apartment has some wear and tear to it. Some blinds are broken, kitchen supplies are old and scratched up, dishwasher was broken, sink in master bath trickles very slowly, and there are a number of outlets that don't work (even after maintenance tried resetting the circuit). Also, the pool and hot tub are functional and clean but the fountain is broken which is not very aesthetically nice. That being said, our family appreciated the lower rate, family friendly space with full kitchen, and proximity to the beach.

Just a few nitpicks about the condo. Shower curtain and master bath did not reach far enough down. The other bathrooms shower door would not close all the way. Living room area had some gaps in the laminate flooring. Not the fault of a condo area but whoever's maintaining the grounds is not cut back the tall grasses that have stickers in them It looks like they haven't been cut in about 2 months. As a result our dog would get stickers with every walk no matter where he was walked. There's a service road that takes you to the boardwalk to get to the beach It's much more convenient than a lot of other places. The property is kind of midpoint between the center of Port Aransas and the island area of Corpus Christi. So restaurants are anywhere from 4 minutes away to the closest resort or 12 minutes away to more urbanized areas. Check in was convenient and service check out. One assignedcovered parking spot for each condo. We would stay here again.

Close to beaches, there is a boardwalk but is a VERY long walk from the unit. The pool is stated to be heated and was NOT!! No room in the hot tub all day and night Saturday night. Issues we had...HUGE bugs on wallBlack smudges on bathroom wall behind doorPrevious tenants scrunchie hooked on shower liner ringIn addition to these things, there was trash under the king size bedKing size bed had black hairs under the sheetsBody wash in the main bath "goodie bag" was already used with hardly any left.Had to keep shoes on because feet were black after walking barefoot on the floor.This unit was at first glance "cleaned" but not over $100 cleaning fee charged per booking clean

Never again

It's an old facility in need of a major renovation. The condo we stayed in had clean sheets and towels and comfortable beds. However, the floors were dirty, there were roaches in the bedrooms, and the dishwasher was filled with water. The kitchen cabinets were cheap and ugly. The laminate floor had exposed seams that could harm small children. The pool area was clean, but tiles were missing around the pool. The hot tub works well. Our assigned parking space was difficult to park in. I had to drive in reverse from the parking entrance to our parking space at the opposite end of the parking area. It was a long walk from the condo to the beach along a dirt road and an old wooden boardwalk. There was no step at the end, so you had to jump down to the sand. It was more difficult to climb back up to leave the beach. We made the best of it. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this place.

Needs some TLC but great location

This property is in a great location. Great private entrance to the beach and far enough that the beach was never crowded. The unit was very spacious and our family of 4 with two dogs were very comfortable. The dogs loved the big patio. Beds were very comfortable and the unit stayed nice and cool. Now for the negative. This unit is in need of some major TLC. It’s very outdated. The floor transition in the bathroom was falling apart, the sink countertop is pulling away from the wall. The doors all have a hard time filling shutting. The oven door scratched the dishwasher because it’s so close. The dishwasher also didn’t work. It desperately needs new cookie sheets and pots for the kitchen. The freezer door gets caught on the wall. It smelled of animals…so bad that I went and bought a candle to try and help. The patio furniture was dirty and the rug was folded up outside. All in all it was fine for 3 nights but I wouldn’t book here again. It has a lot of potential if it would just receive some TLC and updates.

The space was pretty clean, floors were sandy, but that's unavoidable. There were some bugs around. The beds were clean and showers had great water pressure. The pool and spa area was clean and the game room was a bonus. It is pet friendly but there were tons of sticker burrs so that was fun. The host was quick to respond to our questions at check in. Overall, we had a good stay.
