Quiet & Relaxing Top Floor Condo with A/C at Kiahuna Plantation Resort.
Inside the condo is newly renovated with island modern furniture, decor and photography by local artist, Steve Munich so you can enjoy the sights of Kauai indoors. There is a private condo, one bedroom and bathroom with full kitchen, living room (Queen sofa sleeper), dining room and spacious lanai. Step outside and enjoy 35 lush acres with BBQ grills, Koi ponds, Orchid and Moir Gardens and expansive lawns leading to the beach where you can swim, snorkel, surf and take in the sunset. Take a short stroll to world class Poipu beach where there is a shallow area and playground for the kids, lifeguards, picnic tables, bathrooms and to see the Sea Turtles come in for the night. Sometimes you will even find Monk Seals sleeping on the beach. Across the street you will have full access to the Poipu Athletic Club for open air workouts, resort-like pool with a sandy zero entry and water slide, and the Cabana Grill for food and drinks. Nearby you can enjoy hiking Heritage Trail and seeing Makauwahi Cave Reserve, Spouting Horn Park, Allerton Gardens, Old Koloa Town and more. Take a 1/2 Day or Full Day trip to Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of the Pacific), Lihue, Kapa'a, Princeville and Hanalei Bay. There is so much to do & see here on Kauai, the Garden Isle.

Lovely stay in Poipu!

The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the beach and some shops. The unit itself was great. It was clean, fully equipped, and very relaxing to retreat to.

Get away

This is our third time at Kiahuna Plantation. Unfortunately they’ve been about 20 years apart. The grounds are beautiful. The condos are timeless and the island is beautiful.

Great Poipu Location

This was a great home-base for our Kauai vacation. The condo was clean, quiet, and included beach accessories. We didn't use the location facilities, but enjoyed nearby Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. Great central location to visit Waimea Canyon as well as back to Lihui.

Owner was very helpful. Unit beautifully furnished. Great wood and art yet uncluttered. Great location. No pantry staples in kitchen so come prepared if cooking.

Outstanding Kauai Condo

We loved everything about this unit at the beautiful Kiahuna Plantation. The condo is very nice inside, comfortably furnished, with everything one could need for a stay in Kauai. While the Kitchen is small, it is really perfect for your stay. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs were very comfy and a big hit, and we used them every day. The owners Carey and Casey were super helpful before the trip, answering all the questions that we had. I couldn't recommend this condo highly enough. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Kauai Bliss

We loved our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. The unit worked well for us and the beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel set was much appreciated. A short stroll through an orchid garden leads you to the beach. There are restaurants across the street and a nice outdoor mall a 20 minute walk or a 2 minute drive away. Thanks Carey, we’ll be back!

Great choice for a stay in Poipu

Excellent location, easy walking access to the beach or car to all the sites nearby. Very clean and comfortable. The only minor negative are the stairs with bags - but that was in the listing so I knew about that - and the slightly warmer bedroom without aircon. Aside from that, we couldn't fault it. Thanks for the stay.

Cozy Unit in Wonderful Setting

The hosts, Caey and Casey, could not have been more helpful. The unit itself was charming; the location spectacular, and the ground awe inspiring. The only drawbacks were: (1) the bathtub and bath fixtures are worn, as is the door to the vanity area; (2) the ice machine is on constantly; and (3) there is no elevator, so you have to lug your bags up three stories. Otherwise, it is wonderful.

Exactly as expected

We had a great time at this condo. It is exactly as described. We checked in late in the evening, after the office was closed. The process to late check in was a breeze. Staff was amazing. Condo was clean. It was nice to have supplies to make a cup of coffee the next morning!

This condo was PERFECT for our family vacation! We had stayed at this same location in the condo next to this one 2 years ago so knew we loved the location! Pros:1. Location! You can walk to the beach, walk to the Sheraton luau or restaurants, walk across the street to Keoke's Paradise for dinner or any of the other shopping center shops/ eateries. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and at night had a view of the gardens and also a partial ocean view, creating a wonderful ambience. 2. Communication with the hosts - I was never left wondering about anything. Great communication. 3. Ease of check in - the code was sent prior to our arrival. 4. Cleanliness: I know it can't be easy to keep all the sand cleaned up but you wouldn't know it. The condo was clean and welcoming. 5. AC!!! You need it! It's located in the living room so if you have someone sleeping on the pull-out it will be colder for them as we kept it turned low to make sure the bedroom was comfortable to sleep in at night. There was also a standing fan that we used to help. 6. A full kitchen was so helpful. They also had beach chairs, a beach tent and flippers for ocean adventures. I'm guessing the flippers were left by prior guests and we added floaties as well as sand toys that the next guests can enjoy. 7. Wifi was not spotty at all if you need it. We did log into Netflix for our daughter and it never glitched.Con: The water pressure of the shower.

Great place to stay in Poipu

The unit was spotless and in a great location. It had everything that we needed for a four night stay for my husband and me. You have a view of the water from the lanai, and we loved having the chaise loungers to relax and read on. It's about a 10 minute walk through the (very beautiful) property to get to the closest beach access. The property provides one beach towel per guest that you can exchange at the beach hut, as well as access to loungers on the grass overlooking the beach, and beach chairs. It was pretty windy when we were there, but you can walk further down the beach to Poipu beach which is a little more protected and has a lifeguard if you prefer. You also have easy walking access to the Sheraton and Marriot if you wanted to access their restaurants/coffee shops/beach bar. We did not end up using the pool at the athletic club so I cannot speak to that. When we did arrive, there had been a major issue with the water to the entire building, resulting in the water being turned off. We were coming from snorkeling at the north shore that day, and really needed showers in the short window before our dinner reservation. Thankfully, the property let us access another unit to shower. In addition, Casey delivered us water and a gift card for a local restaurant to make up for it. An inconvenience, but out of everyone's control and everyone handled it very well. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, amenities and view

For a stayed in this beautiful condo unit on the top floor. We overlooked gardens and beyond another building could see the ocean. It was only a less than five minute walk down to the beach next to the Sheraton, which was also great to be able to walk around and use their rocking chairs, coffee shop, and restaurant even. Across the street is a local coffee shop as well as a Starbucks and a beautiful indoor garden restaurant that you should check out. The building was relatively quiet though we could hear people while on the lanai, but that was to be expected, the house was clean and well set up , easy to find with the maps provided and would definitely come back once again. Poipu is a perfect location to go to Waimea Canyon from or over to Kapaa or even to the North Shore though a longer drive. Would highly recommend anyone staying here as it’s a great place overall. we also used the wreck and pool area which is 8 to 10 minute walk away or you can drive there. The pool was great specially for younger kids and they have a restaurant and bar on site. We didn’t use the pool much because we favored the beach, which was actually closer and that’s what we’re there for! Highly Recommend!
