Welcome to the Smoky Mountains and Mountain Haven formerly Montini Manor. This 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath home offers an open and spacious floor plan with lots of glass to take in the mountain surrounding. Come warm up with a cup of cocoa and a roaring fire. Relax with your favorite movie or challenge yourself to a game of pool. This beautiful log home is located in Maggie Valley and puts you in easy driving distance to the Valley and all the area has to offer. Come ski, tube, take in a show, dine, shop, horseback ride, visit the elk, walk Lake Junaluska, step back in time in neighboring Waynesville, try your hand at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino or just come spend a romantic getaway in a true mountain setting. This home has a Gameroom with Pool Table; HomeTheater with Blue Ray and internet service. Mountain Haven will welcome you home and leave you with wonderful memories of your vacation getaway.

Wonderful place for family time and a quick ski trip at Cataloochee.

Great cabin close to Cataloochee Ski area. My adult children and I met up for the weekend to get in a couple of days on the slopes. We loved Mountain Haven. Plenty of room for the five of us to all have our own space. We really enjoyed the pool table. It was too cold to be outside but the deck looked great with a lovely view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was close to everything in Maggie Valley. Would definitely stay here again.

Short skiing trip

The cabin is beautiful and great location. I had problems with the accommodation for one of the rooms. My kids weren’t able to use the Sofa bed. It needs to be replaced. The downstair room had an awful smell. The cabin did have tissues, paper towels or shower personal care. The place is absolutely beautiful and I know this comments can be easily fixed.

The house is nestled in a neighborhood with a great elevated view of the landscape and mountains. 3 floors gave plenty of room for everyone. Only wish would be that the owners charge $10 more a night and upgrade the Tabs and provide all supplies. Not knowing exactly what was missing was not ideal and seamed a cheap move.

We loved the sound of the stream and the views from the deck and expansive living room windows. The beds were very comfortable. Sid was very easy to work with. We would definitely stay again on our annual trip. Some guests made mention of the driveway. It’s no different than any other cabin we’ve stayed in. It was nice to have the garage, if needed.

Mountain Haven stay

Drive very angled for travelers with trailer. Very deep small gravel that your Vehicles sink in...hard to get out if parked close to cabin. Sent email to Carolina Vacations a week before our arrival and received no response on hauling a trailer with motorcycle s...if we needed to make other arrangements. Cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice house

The house itself was well kept and clean. Listening to the creek was very pleasant. The only negatives were the view in the picture online is better than the view in person. Also the deck could use some cleaning. Other than that it's a great house and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely home on the mountainside

This was a beautiful cabin, that comfortably accommodated the six of us. The motorcycle riding is excellent however the steep gravel drive was definitely a challenge for large bikes.
