Lovely 3 bedroom Penthouse condo with sun roof in one of the finest buildings in Playacar.
Fully equipped with marble floors throughout and with a wonderful big terrace.
Public beach access is a short walk.

The main area of the condo is an open plan spacious area with a new 3 piece sofa, 40' TV, hard wood dinning room table for seven, AC , fan and a balcony with a table for 6. The Kitchen has granite counters, and top end appliances and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The master bedroom has a private balcony, beautiful dressing room and en suite bathroom and a King size 4 poster hard wood bed.

The second bedroom offers king sizs beds , good storage , balcony, bathroom , AC, and fan.
The third bedroom has two single beds, AC, fan and storage.

The terrace is perfect for relaxing or for eating outdoors as it includes a table and chairs, a cooking worktop ,sink as well as a shower and sun lounges, with and great views of the gardens and swimming pool.

Paseo Del Sol is a fabulous condo resort that is situated close to the beach. It houses one of the largest pools in the area as well as free access to a gym, sauna and tennis court. The largest golf course in Playacar is right on your door step.

Playacar, where the apartment is located is a residential area you can find about 15 major all inclusive resorts of international chains (Wyndham, Iberostar, Riu etc) lined up next to a beautiful wide spread beach. This is also where you will find the golf course and some of the town's biggest houses. Playacar is a gated community built in a jungle setting with the golf course crossing the road several times. An interesting area for a laid back stroll to check out the resorts and houses away from the busy Playa del Carmen. During your trip you will also pass a small archaeological site, a bird park and a small shopping mall all located in Playacar. Just outside Playacar the city's landing strip is located.

There is a beach access with the bracelets to the Playacar beach or via the Reef Club Hotel and use their beach facilities. The Reef Club also offer daily all inclusive.

Relaxing getaway

Had a nice stay at Paseo Del Sol. The owners were very responsive and the staff around the complex was exceptional!! My only issues were with getting nickel and dimed on drinking water and especially toilet paper!!!!! We had to purchase water after the initial bottle and was only allotted 4 rolls of TP for 6 people on a one week stay…. Then we had to go out and buy our own…REALLY?? Just charge me an extra and have unlimited water and tp…

Clean and Quiet GREAT condo location in Playacar

We were 2 couples visiting Playacar and have been to the area multiple times before. First time at Paseo Del Sol and we LOVED it! The location is ideal right across from Reef club (which we took advantage of many days) and the security staff is wonderful. We rented bikes for duration of our stay and were told by the front gate "no need to lock them up" as they were always visible to the gate house. The 3rd floor location are the best units in the complex as you have the rooftop terrace to use...which we dined on almost every night. As we like to cook and knew we would miss a bbq, we actually travelled with a small BBQ and just got a propane tank locally when we arrived. It was wonderful to cook and dine on the rooftop in the breeze. WE used our bikes for all shopping at either Chedraui (best beef tenderloin that butcher will trim for you), Walmart (best fresh shrimp) or Sams Club (great fresh salmon for grilling). There is also a couple great small places in mall just south of Sam's - Frutalesa (for frozen lobster, frozen fruit etc) and a small bakery and coffee shop (Pastelateria) that is wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped with adequate pots and casseroles and simple dishes. We brought a few melamine serving dishes that we left to add to the collection and found them helpful as we were patio diners! We also traveled with a couple of good knives but for basic use the knives supplied would be fine. There aren't really any acrylic glasses (which would be great considering the tile floors, balcony and rooftop use) but we had also traveled with our own. The master bedroom is extremely comfortable and all beds and bathrooms are adequately equipped with sheets and towels. The 2nd bedroom with two queens is not quite as comfortable (one mattress is better than the other) and it really would be ideal for renting if the second room also had a quality king bed so two couples could enjoy the same comforts. We did not use the twin room other than for storage (our wine cellar - LOL) but would be additional space for family visiting. The walk to town is quite enjoyable (maybe 15 minutes) and we dined at Cafe Sofia one night (great food/great service/great value). The proximity to the Reef is great if you are beach people (which we are) as needing to be there early is easy. Berenice is a wonderful host and was right on it when we had a minor issue with one of the showers and the hot water on our day of arrival. GREAT property!!

We had a great time at the condo. It was very well equipped, clean and just like the pictures. The Reef resort is across the street which is very convenient. The pool in Paseo del sol is awesome and we spent time there. It’s walking distance to the Main Street.

Beautiful Surroundings -- Wonderful Owners!

Three moms and four teenagers visited Playacar for Spring Break. We had wonderful accommodations with great amenities. The condo was beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed. The beds were all very comfortable, even the twin bed on which I slept. The appliances were modern and up-to-date. The air conditioning worked extremely well and kept us very comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the grounds were impeccable. It was a short walk across the street to the beach resort . We all appreciated the flexibility we had in purchasing an all-inclusive package on a day-by-day basis. We really felt that we got our money's worth by not getting it every day, but only for those days that we were staying put. The icing on the cake was how friendly and communicative the owners were. All questions were answered promptly and proved to be very helpful with recommendations and advice. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great condo to vacation in. Everything is as described - staff at Paseo Del Sol are accommodating.

Love Playa Del Carmen and love paseo Del sol! Pool is beautiful, weather was gorgeous - lots to do and see. Restaurants in Playa are wonderful.

Beautiful condo located in Playacar!

We had a wonderful time staying at Berenice's condo. It is located in in the center of Playacar and is close to all the shopping and close to Xplor and Xcaret. The condo was so Immaculate and had all the amenities we needed. The 24 security was a bonus and the security guards were very nice. Beautiful 3 bed condo in a wonderful golf club with lush vegation and huge private terrace

Beautifully decorated condo with marble floors on PH with nice pool and garden views , well equiped kitchen . The complex is beautifully keept with a lovely lobby, well eqipped gym and tennis court. The condo is within walking distance to the public beach and the Reef club beach club is opposite. The 5th Avenue is only a 15 minutes walk and from there are many bars and shops and restaurants Playacar development is the most beautiful place in Playadel carmen with green areas and the original vegetation of Playa del carmen with tropical birds and wildlife./

Amazing Property and great amenities

My Family and I have stayed at Paseo del Sol twice now. We keep coming back because it offers so much. Great facilities including a huge pool, tennis court and a brand new gym. Staying at Paseo del Sol gives you access to the great Reef resort (Stayed there last year, and its probably one of the nicest looking properties in the mayan riviera, but the rooms are horrible, and the food gets old after a few days) that has beds and lots of chairs on the beach and their two pools. And its close to all the action on 5th avenue. Matthew and Berenice's condo has everything you need, including comfortable beds. And is very clean and well maintained. The apartment gets lots of sun and has nice views of the pool off the balcony. We thought we would use the terrace on the top floor but didn't spend any time up there at all. It is a great place to lounge and dry your clothes though :) The only thing missing is a BBQ and this place would have it all. Highly recommend

A Great Find

We had a truly great vacation. Great location - Paseo Del Sol is located across the street from the Reef Club and the beach and you can walk to downtown Playa del Carmen. The property is well maintained and has a beautiful pool. Very quiet and restful. The 24/7 security is friendly and helpful. We rented a car for going into Playa del Carmen and traveling to nearby sites like the lagoon at Akumal (great snorkeling and not expensive). We also went to Tulum about 45 minutes south to see the Mayan ruins near the beach. Very cool. The weather was perfect - low 70's to mid -upper 80's every day. Very important if you want to escape the cold Spring weather of Chicago. All of the appliances worked well and the condo was well appointed and very spacious - could easily accommodate 6+ people. The wifi was a little slow to load but doable and worked fine in the main reception area. Mathew, the owner, was extremely easy to work with and promptly responded to emails. All in all a great find that we would highly recommend.

Beautiful condo

My family of 5 stayed here last July for 10 days. I chose it because it appeared well appointed and that is important to me. It was very tastefully decorated. There was plenty of space for our entire family. The master bed was extremely comfortable. The condo itself, the grounds, and the gated community of playacar is just gorgeous. There are a few things that could have been improved upon. One, is that I think with such a spacious rooftop deck, a BBQ and perhaps a jacuzzi should be put in place in order to better enjoy relaxing dinners and time at the condo. Without these features, I'm sorry to say we didn't spend even one minute up on the deck. Pity too, seems like a great space that could be better utilized. Another suggestion is that a nice rug should be placed underneath the dining room area for the chairs. They did scrape loudly against the marble floor when moved which caused the downstairs neighbor to complain about us twice. We are not loud people. We tried our best to be respectful but the combination of the marble floors made it difficult and heavy dining chairs made it difficult. One other thing I will point out, although this is NO fault of the owner, is that the "10-30 minute" walk into town during the summer is brutal!!! I'm someone who enjoys an evening stroll so I was not put off by this idea at all. I was also aware that july would mean it would be very hot and humid. I truly didn't think this would bother me (it was 114 degrees when I left my home). However, I did not anticipate just how hot and humid this walk would be. It seemed to take forever. We'd then arrive sweaty to an open air resataurant (with no AC) to sweat some more, then, have the long walk back home. The same is true for beach access to the public beach. At least once you're there, you can cool off in the water. If you're there in the summer months, I highly recommend a rental car or getting taxies whe going into town or to the beach. We did make use of the beach chairs at the Reef club one day and bought the all inclusive package there another day which was great. All in all, I would most definitely stay here again as long as it wasn't during summer time. During summer, I'd unfortunately have to choose somewhere closer to restaurants with a more convenient beach access. But, if you're planning to be there in fall, winter, or spring, I can't imagine a nicer home with a better value.

Great Playacar Location

We stayed at this condo the last week of March, 2013. The Paseo del Sol property is well maintained - the grounds are lovely, there's a large pool, tennis, exercise room, friendly front desk staff and security. The condo is in a good part of the complex, and is in very good condition. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The local property manager was responsive to our needs, and the owner was easy to work with when booking. We loved having morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the rooftop deck. It is perfectly situated directly across the street from the Reef Club, only a short walk to the beach. We spent days at the beach enjoying free access to the lounge chairs, pools. We did buy the all inclusive option one day for $45 USD per person. We had a nice trip and would stay here again. It is a great alternative to someone wanting more space.

EXCELENTE VACACIONES!

Excelentes vacaciones! Totalmente recomendable tanto el departamento como el complejo. Las fotos del departamento reflejan exactamente lo que uno encuentra. El complejo muy tranquilo, lindísima la pileta y la atención del personal. Con sólo cruzar la calle accedíamos al Reef Hotrel y hacíamos uso de sus instalaciones. Es de destacar la seriedad del propietario y cuenta con una administradora Elizabeth en el lugar que está atenta a cada detalle para hacer la estadía en ese lugar lo mejor posible. Muy linda la cancha de tenis, muy bien mantenida. Totalmente recomendable!

Peaceful Holiday!

Thank you Matthew for the wonderful accommodations in Playacar. The condo was everything we had hoped for and more - spacious, clean, great kitchen, etc. The complex was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. I'm sorry we didn't book for the full 2 weeks we were in the Playa del Carmen area. Enjoyed the access to the Reef Club and we were always able to get chairs and an umbrella every day. Will definitely rent from you the next time we are in Playa del Carmen.

Wonderful Condo!

I would highly recommend staying in this condo at the Paseo del Sol. It is in a great location in the complex and is beautiful inside. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The complex itself is immaculate and the staff helpful and friendly. Having the Reef Club across the street and 5th avenue within walking distance makes the condo very appealing. The owner is very easy to work with, thank you Matthew for sharing your home. Peaceful condo in Quiet Neighborhood

We found this condo to be very clean and comfortable. The owner was very accessable before and during our stay to answer questions and offer tips. The manager was on time to check us into the condo and very helpful with explaining how things worked.The property is very well maintained- there were workers on the grounds trimming, watering, etc. constantly.We loved taking long walks in this upscale neighborhood and walked downtown several times each day. We used the Reef Club across the street for acess to their pools and beach and even did the all inclusive meal plan one day. Our friends liked this area so much that they traded their ownership at a resort in Cancun to the Reef.There did not seem to be many people staying in these condos- I think people have not discovered how very nice this area is. I highly reccomend this condo to anyone lookin for a peaceful vacation in Playa del Carmen.

Des vacances en familles excellentes !!

Nous avons passé un mois à ce condo avec nos deux enfants de 2 et 5 ans, nous avons également eu la visite des grand-parents durant notre séjour. L'emplacement est superbe et très pratique avec des enfants et des grand-parents (ascenseur). Le condo est très confortable et chaleureux et surtout très spacieux, on avait tous notre espace. La terrase sur le toit est très agréable en soirée et le balcon de l'étage principale était fantastique tous les jours. Nous avons marché souvent jsuqu'à Playa Del Carmen sinon on prenait un taxi pour environ $10 us. Pour l'épicerie il faut y aller en taxi mais c'est très facile et le personnel de l'hotel est très aidant et sympatique. Nous pensons déjà à planifier nos prochaines vacances au même endroit. Merci Mathew pour ce condo superbe!!!

Nuestra estancia en este departamento de lujo ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de vacaciones que hemos tenido. El lugar, el lujo, los acabados y las amenidades son muy superiores a cualquier lugar que hemos rentado anteriormente. Paseo Del Sol, Our week in Paradise

Our stay, March 3 - 10, 2012, was wonderfully restful, and yet we had access to as many activities as we wanted. The condo is very well situated, and the description and photos are very accurate. The property was very clean and the outside staff does a beautiful job with the grounds. The pool was comfortable and clean. Everything worked fine inside the condo, air conditioning was only needed a couple of days. There was a nice breeze most of the time. The beds were clean and comfortable, towels and sheets were abundant, and the bathrooms were very spacious. We only used 2 of the 3 sleeping rooms, but the condo would easily sleep 8. There is a huge amount of closet space, and a safe in which to keep valuables. Matthew, the owner was a very good communicator and answered all my questions by email promptly and accurately. Ellie, the rental agent, was waiting for us in the lobby when we arrived. She was courteous, helpful and very welcoming. She stayed in touch by email throughout the week. The condo front desk staff and security are present 24/7. I felt very safe here. Absolutely no problems. Playacar and Playa del Carmen and very busy places in the daytime, but at night we slept as though we were out in the country. Very quiet and restful. We had access to the beach through the Reef Club across the street, although the wait to receive our bracelets was a bit lengthy. You must take the condo I.D. card to the Reef Club front desk and swap it for bracelets for your party. The staff there does not seem adequate at the front desk to handle all the traffic. For local restaurants, I would recommend a visit to La Vagabunda, (great for breakfast), Fusion, (Mexican dinner, live music and beach activities) Rolandi's for pizza, and Ah Cacao, Chocolate Café for the best chocolate drinks and desserts we've ever had. We also enjoyed incredible sushi at Sushi Aso. We shopped for our food at WalMart in Playa del Carmen. A few surprises there! Be prepared to tip your bagger if there is one. Cabs are plentiful and quick. To catch one, stand on the edge of any street. The driver will flash his headlights if he can pick you up. Longest wait: 5 min. Most drivers had very limited English. A little Spanish is very helpful to get where you need to go. The front desk at Paseo del Sol has a great map of the 5th Avenue area. Just ask for one. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative and I would absolutely return if I had the chance. Very good experience.

Wonderful vacation

The complex overall: Wonderfully quiet, clean and well kept. A great place in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Amenities were great (gym, pool, front desk staff). The complex is very well maintained, everything worked (including the elevator, power and water). Good for older couples, and people who want a quiet place without a lot of people around. It is a nice 15 minute walk to 5th avenue, and only $5 US by cab. The unit: Very clean, airy and well appointed. All electronics worked, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms very nice and clean. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to kick back at the end of the day, have a barbeque, or just hang around. There were some areas that could use improvement. For example, the couches and chairs in the living room were very uncomfortable, but we improvised by putting the back cushions on the seats to make them more bearable. New foam (or better yet - new couches and chairs), would be a good idea. The dishwasher leaked and didn't clean very well, but again, it's Mexico and so we improvised and just laid a bath towel on the floor to catch the leaks. By the second week, we just ended up doing the dishes by hand as this got them cleaner. Everything else worked just fine. Overall: We would definitely go back to this location and to this condo. Our comments about the couch and dishwasher are really meant more as constructive feedback than as a deterrent. In our view, the cleanliness of the place and the safe, secure feeling we had in this location far outweigh everything, and for that, we give the place the highest marks.

As a Mexican national , I consider Playacar as one of the best places to live in the Mayan Riviera, with its lush vegetation , wildlife and even Mayan ruins scattered in the jungle.
Playa del Carmen is such a vibrant tow with so much to do with hundreds of bars & restaurants, live music, aquatic sports, archeological sites in the area of International repute that is the perfect place for a fantastic holiday.
