Have you ever been on a vacation where the bed you slept in was more comfortable than your own bed at home? The condo is brand new everything, gorgeous custom designed furniture throughout, remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, everything you need to feel pampered, plenty of living space to spread out, far more comfortable than a hotel. The condo is located in Playacar Phase II, a gated community surrounded by mansions and magnificent architecture, situated on the 13th hole of Playacar's world class Golf Club and Spa It is a short 5 minute walk to downtown, and a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in town. Rosa Blanca is a quiet and relaxing getaway from the crowded streets and many street vendors, yet still close to the action when you want to be in it. Start everyday relaxed and refreshed as you enjoy your breakfast on our shaded balcony overlooking the beautiful pool, while enjoying the view of our tropical bird friends. When you are ready to set out for the day, you will find shopping, restaurants, car rentals, tours, great beach clubs, everything you need just steps away.

We have also provided several beach chairs, 2 small coolers, washer/dryer, WIFI, a safe, and a local cell phone. (OXXO, our convenience store, is a good place to add additional minutes if you would like to add more. There is an OXXO in Playacar 2 right around the corner or in town.) Our guest book also includes many recommendations and key information for your stay.

Another Great Stay

We had another great vacation at Rosa Blanca. Location, in terms of the beach, the grocery store, restaurants and 5th Avenue is ideal. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful dining room set and a large sofa in the living area with a smart TV. The master bedroom has an extremely comfortable king-size bed. The patio overlooks the pool, the gathering place for all the terrific people we have met at the complex.

Great place for a family vacation

This was a very nice surprise, as this was our first experience renting a place near Playa. The location is perhaps the best feature of this place. Itā€™s just 10ā€ from all the action in Playa. The apartment is also very well kept, and the pool is a plus. The beach is just 10ā€, and itā€™s a beautiful walk. Jogging or biking around Playacar is nice. We are thinking of going back again, or even buying something at Playacar. We LOVED IT! The management team and the owner are always available to help. Overall, we have an amazing time at this place and in Playa.

Quiet and relaxing. Beautiful pool. Perfect location!

Family of four just leaving Jardin Secreto in Rosa Blanca. The condo is in perfect condition. Everything was new and it was very clean. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained, we used it daily. You are a quick walk to the public beach and a quick walk to 5th Avenue. We have visited Playa many times but this was our first stay in Playacar. We will be back. Love the location for walking, jogging or biking. So peaceful and relaxing. Jackie, Jose, and Liliana were easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you for helping us have a terrific vacation. Highly recommend.

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed another winter in the Secret Garden. The location is great, close to 5th Ave. and the beach. The pool is large and thoroughly relaxing. Inside the condo, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the dining and living rooms are spacious, and it is tastefully decorated. A great place to stay!

Great condo

The seaweed was horrible so we were grateful to not be on the beach. The pool was great, perfect after seeing a Mayan ruin or two. It was a perfect space to relax and decompress.

Another Wonderful Stay!

This condo has a wonderful location - to the beach, to 5th Avenue, to restaurants and to the grocery store. We just finished our second winter stay in the condo and cannot wait to go back. We have come to love the pool, the size of the complex and the other residents. As well, Carlos does a great job keeping the flowers, grounds and pool in shape which makes the complex so inviting. The condo management company is also very attentive. With all of these attributes and the condo itself being exactly as advertised, you cannot go wrong.

Great Location and Property

Location is perfect unless you are looking for beachfront. Just a 10 minute walk to downtown. Easy walk to large supermarket and easy to get a taxi back with our groceries. Playacar is safe, quiet and beautiful. Condo complex is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. We spent lots of time in beautiful pool area that was never crowded. Jackie's condo suited our needs perfectly: clean and well-maintained, excellent air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, comfortable beds, plenty of closet and dresser space, excellent wi-fi. Management company was very helpful. We are coming back next winter!

Great place in a great location

Weā€™ve stayed here once before, about four years ago . Loved it then and even love it more now. This is a great two bedroom condo that has all the amenities you would ever need. This complex probably has the best pool in all of Playacar, really peaceful & quiet, surrounded by nature . Found some great new restaurants, all within walking distance. It was a really great vacation. Canā€™t wait to come back again soon.

Wonderful Holiday!

We just completed a wonderful holiday at El Jardin Secreto, the Secret Garden, and cannot wait to return. Everything in the listing was entirely accurate. The bed was to die for - king size and it was more comfortable than our bed at home (as advertised). The kitchen was fully equipped which made it easy to cook most of our meals in the condo. We also enjoyed the BBQ on the patio. The tasteful artwork and furniture made the whole unit feel very cozy. The condo was very clean and well-maintained. This applied to the pool and grounds as well. All of our arrangements went as planned and Jackie was excellent to deal with. We especially liked the location of the condo. It was across the street from the resident's gate allowing easy exit and entry to Playacar. We had a short bike ride to Chedraui where we did most of grocery shopping. We were only a few minutes from several restaurants, one of our favorites being Lara & Luca. An added bonus was all the terrific people who were staying at Rosa Blanca with us. We made many new friends. We would highly recommend these accommodations as we have stayed in condos all over the U.S. and Mexico and this is our favorite.

Family Friendly

We were looking for a place to stay and also have a few friends drop in for Happy Hour while they were on vacation nearby. This apartment was perfect! Very quiet and lovely. The other residents and guests were friendly and warm and willing to give us tips of where to eat and which beaches to explore. We look forward to returning again!

Relaxing return to Playa Del Carmen with the family

This was our second visit to Playa Del Carmen, but our first time with our young daughter. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the chance to continue to explore more of the town and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend a trek down to Tulum for a nice day of Maya ruins and gorgeous, quiet beaches. Jackie made sure we had everything we needed to make the trip as smooth as possible traveling with a toddler. The team of people she works with were incredibly helpful in making the trip a breeze. We look forward to staying again soon!

This was our first time in Mexico and I was reluctant to be too adventurous traveling with my 17 year old daughter, yet our host Jackie's spot on recommendations allowed us to go much further off the tourist path than we would have felt comfortable with. My daughter is now certified for open water diving and many incredible memories were made and life lessons imparted. Playa and Riviera Maya is a magical stretch of land, Rosa Blanca the ideal launch pad to explore it, and Jackie - the consummate virtual host.

Another Wonderful Stay

We just got home from our second stay in this condo...and forth stay in this building. This condo is in a great location, lots of space and has wonderful people to spend time with! the owner is very attentive and friendly and helps with any requests we have! Loving retirement

This was our second year at Rosa Blanca and we are booked for the same two months next year. The two bedroom/2 bath condo has all of the necessary amenities and then some. A nicely equipped kitchen, laundry room, comfortable furnishings, good quality linens and a bistro set on the balcony overlooking the pool and neighboring golf course, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening coctail. A 10 minute walk into town or to the pristine beach, makes this a wonderful location. The gated community also makes for a quieter neighborhood to explore on foot or bike.

Excellent vacation!

No one from our family had ever been to Mexico so absolutely everything was a new experience. We cannot thank Jackie ( the owner) enough for all her advice, assistance and recommendations! From our very first correspondence, it was obvious that she has a wealth of knowledge and passion for the area and culture. The property was obviously very well cared for and very well equipped right down to luggage racks in the bedrooms. The location was excellent as we were able to walk everywhere and glad that we cancelled our rental car reservation. Great condo

My wife and I and another couple rented the condo for a week. Everything was as described, Jackie (the owner) was very helpful with tips and guidance for the area. The condo itself is in protected area but close to town, 15 min walk. Everything inside the condo was in good shape and clean, the balcony overlooks a nice pool that we used few times. Overall we recommend the place, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Vacation!

My husband and I rented this condo for 2 weeks! Everything was brand new! We loved the big pool. The balcony was larger than the pictures do it justice. We sat out there many nights and it was very relaxing! Great friendly neighbour's! The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Fully furnished condo in a great location

This condo was really nice. Very spacious with all the furnishings. Nice large dining table, living room, bar, large new sectional sofa and a kitchen with all the amenities. Sit outside on the patio and enjoy hearing the jungle at night! The pool was good size, too, and very clean. Two full baths and two bedrooms with plenty of towels, beach towels, and a washer and dryer for any laundry needed to be done during the stay. We pretty much lived there as if we were in our own home (cooking, watching TV, etc), but just with the exotic beach and cool vacation town added in. Parking is right in front, and we were only a quick walk up from the Playa del Carmen beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. We rented a car and drove all over the town, as well as seeing sites like Cancun beach and the Tulum ruins (a must). There's an Oxxo store within a 5-minute walk from the condo, as well as a couple of restaurants next to it right there in Playacar. The neighborhood is also an excellent location to get out for a walk, bike or jog. Seems like pretty much anytime of the day, there were people exercising and passing by on the walkway enjoying themselves in the environment. Thank you, Jackie and Matt, for letting us enjoy this awesome vacation condo with all the amenities of our home!

Fantastic Spot, perfect family getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Playa del Carmen. Right from the start Jackie was so easy to deal with and I felt like she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She ensured that we had all the information we needed about not just the condo but also activities, car rentals and food logistics and options. The condo had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable. Our kids LOVED the pool, where we spent most of our time. It was warm and often we had it all to ourselves. Town and the beach were walking distance, and cabs always available nearby for longer trips. 5th Avenue provided lots of entertainment, great food and shopping. We enjoyed walking along here at night as well as hitting some of the cheaper taco spots around town. We had a wonderful family vacation and hope to return to this condo again in the future. I highly recommend this condo and location.

Great Location!!

The perfect Goldilocks rental. This condo is right on the inside of the gated Playa Car Phase 2 area. Close enough to walk into downtown Playa del Carmen for supplies and a night on the town. Plenty of taxis pass by right out the front door and pretty easy to flag down. Just a short 5 minute walk through a paved stone jungle path to white sand beaches of Play Car Phase 1. For those of you unfamiliar with the different areas. Playa Car Phase 1 is along the beach just south of "downtown" Playa del Carmen. Lots of time shares and private resorts. Playa Car Phase 2 is just inland of Phase 1 but is newer and nicer and quite a bit bigger. Phase 2 also has some of its own activities like a bird sanctuary, some restaurants and convenience stores that are not in the hustle and bustle of downtown. The condo was very modern and clean. Great kitchen and living area, private pool with lounge chairs. Air Conditioning was efficient and cooled quickly if you needed it. We left the doors open most of the time as the outside air temp and breezes were very nice as is. Many of the condos are owned by older Ex-Pats and had a small community feel to it. Always felt very safe there and was quiet at night with out the thunderous bass music of the night clubs in downtown. I highly recommend this location, was the perfect place for my style. Was a nice place at night to relax after a fun filled day in the sun but close enough to "let my hair down" walk into town for a night of music and adult beverages. :)

Spacious, well-appointed condo in an Ć¼ber safe jungle oasis. Great pool- perfect for the 12 condo complex. Golf club community with minutes access to downtown Playa Del Carmen's boutique shopping and culinary delights. Loved my siesta's in the A/C- each room has it's own unit! Enjoyed the breezy patio many evenings. Cheap, amazing food and a super tourist-friendly vibe. Walk or bike everywhere or cab it very easily too...

Garden Oasis

Great looking condo in a great neighborhood. Love this area, close to everything but so quiet at night. If you like to get up early there's great weather for jogging or walking around Playacar. Pool is fantastic in the mornings or at sunset. Found like 30 great places to eat nearby in town & the best pasta & thin crust pizza is in the neighborhood too. Already planning on when we can come back again in 2015!

El Gardin Secreto is owned by newly weds Jacqueline Specht and Matthew Swank, married in Playa Del Carmen. Jacqueline has been coming to the Mayan Riviera since her teenage years, studying Spanish and traveling with her family back in the early 1980s, before Playa Del Carmen blossomed into a the beautiful city it is now. About 6 years ago upon return to Playa, she fell in love the new city and everything it had become. Unfortunately, Jacqueline fell upon bad luck in a car accident back in 2010, which almost changed the course of her life. She committed to herself that if she were to have good health again, she would never take it for granted and pursue her life dreams. A life in Playa Del Carmen was one of these dreams. You will see why when you come here to visit. She sought to build a uniquely comfortable experience that a hotel could not offer. So, each piece of the furniture was designed with comfort and style in mind.

Three years ago, Jacqueline began the search for a second home in Playa Del Carmen. She sought a place close enough to walk to the action of downtown, but also offered peace and quiet when she was looking to get away from the busy city streets, vendors, bars and loud nightclubs. Playacar Fase 2 is a breath taking neighborhood, lined with palm trees, beautiful mansions, 24 hour security, many restaurants and amenities close by. This neighborhood has everything you need to relax, but still situated close enough to downtown where a car isn't a necessity to get around.

Hotels and Resorts have a limited amount of benefits and things to see. Once you've seen that beach, eaten at that buffet, or slept in an uncomfortable bed, you'll wish you were somewhere else in a few days.
