I’m sorry this guest felt the need to leave such a negative review, especially after staying four full days of a week-long trip without mentioning a single issue. On day four, she informed me that her child had peed in the bed. I don’t have a washer/dryer on-site, but I immediately offered to come collect and clean all bedding and bath mats — she didn’t even decline but ignored me and my messages until she left that evening and instead demanded a refund for the remainder of her stay the next day. The bath mats were described as “filthy,” but after several days of use with three children (one of whom was not included in the reservation and brought without permission), some wear is expected. My trusted cleaner deep cleans after every guest — including vacuuming the couch — and has never received a single complaint. Staying for the majority of a trip without a word, then suddenly demanding a refund and refusing any resolution, is not a fair or reasonable expectation. I always go above and beyond to address guest concerns, and it’s unfortunate she didn’t allow me to do that.
