*STRICT MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF 8* This beautiful home is in an even more beautiful country setting. Peace, quiet, tranquility, and all the modern day amenities you could ask for! In the summer months, you can enjoy the large wrap around deck, fully equipped with a gas grill and outdoor furniture. In the winter, you'll be sure to enjoy: being minutes from Attitash, Cranmore, Wildcat, and North Conway Village.

Saturday-Saturday stays are required mid June, July and August.

The ground level offers a mud room, a bedroom that includes 2 queen beds, a full futon, and flat screen TV. There is also a half bath on this level. The main level of this home includes a fully equipped kitchen with flat screen TV and espresso maker, off of the kitchen there is a sun room including the dining table. The large living area has a flat screen TV, wood stove, and BOSE CD player. There is also a full bathroom on the main level, and a bedroom with queen size bed and a full size futon bed as well. The 2nd floor of this beautiful home includes a master bedroom with king bed, master bath and flat screen TV. The loft includes a desk, and a washer/dryer. Book this property today and you'll be so thankful you made the right choice!

USE OF HOT TUB will be $150 EXTRA for Maintenance/Chemicals (newly installed tub spring 2020). One well behaved dog is allowed. Pet fee applies. Ask for details, if requesting to bring more than one dog.

For nearly 200 years the Glen and Intervale areas of New Hampshire have held a special attraction for visitors from around the globe.

The area's landscape, complete with covered bridges, white steepled churches, high mountains and rolling farmland, has been deemed "sublime" by artists of international renown as well as both downhill and cross country skiers. The mountain air in summer has attracted visitors for hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking and relaxing by waterfalls and mountain streams.
Together these villages offer spectacular natural beauty, and as much four season recreation with lodging, dining and attractions as you'll find in all of the northeastern United States!

You do not need to strip the beds as housekeeping will do that. Do not make the beds on day of departure. Please turn down the heat in winter to about 60. Please inquire about late checkout.
Please place all trash in the garage in sealed plastic trash bags (bags provided) and place inside the bins. Securely close the lids. If additional space is needed, place the bags on top of the bins.
All white bath towels will be laundered by housekeeping, so just pile in the bathrooms. Any large colored towels used for hot tub, river swimming etc please wash and put in dryer if you can.

Fantastic property in a fantastic location! The house is even better in person than in the pictures. Perfect White Mountains area getaway. You’ll have everything you need and more for a great weekend or vacation. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the house and the host exceeded our expectations yet again. It was a pleasure to deal with someone so friendly and responsive. We can’t wait for our next visit!

WOW! What a beautiful mountain home. This house exceeded expectations and is even better than the pictures. The owners are wonderful and very responsive. The property is very quiet and the house is well stocked with everything you need. We were up there during a heat wave but fortunately every room has 2 tower fans. I highly recommend this house.

Hi Heather, You were a wonderful guest, and we truly appreciated having you and your dogs stay with us. The house was actually in better condition when you left than when you arrived, and for that we are incredibly grateful. The heat wave during your stay was very unusual. Our summers are typically comfortable, making air conditioning unnecessary most of the time. In addition to the ceiling fans in the living room and dining area, we also have a large tower fan for the living room. In the bedroom, along with the tower fan, we have bedside table fans for each side of the bed. We hadn't put out the living room tower fan or the bedside table fans because, frankly, it hadn't been very hot all summer, and most guests find the bedroom tower fan more than sufficient. But boy, oh boy, those last few days were definitely a scorcher! Thank you again for being such thoughtful and respectful guests. We genuinely appreciate you and would be delighted to welcome you back anytime.

Great location…Amazing views!

Fantastic find for large groups or two families! The mountain view off the deck is amazing. The location is perfect to enjoy all North Conway attractions and hikes! We also loved all the decor and small touches.

Great location!

We rented this house for a ski weekend with family. It is located very close to the mountain, and in a private area with beautiful views. The house was perfect for us and we will definitely return.

Perfect location and home for a ski weekend vacation

Great location! House was very clean and we had everything thing we needed for our long ski weekend vacation! Even our little terrier had dog toys to keep her occupied. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend away with girlfriends. So peaceful and only 10 minutes from North Conway's outdoor adventures, and shopping!

Amazing spot for a girls getaway!

A bunch of girlfriends had a wonderful weekend XC skiing and relaxing together. The home was comfortable with a beautiful view. Great beds, kitchen and location. Future guests, if you use the hot tub, make sure you turn it up when you arrive because it was set to 85- not nearly warm enough in the winter!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway

My son (15) had a very specific list of accommodations he wanted for our mini-getaway and this house checked all the boxes. Mountain views (which were a 10/10), hot tub, wood burning stove, and dog friendly were at the top of his list and this house did not disappoint. The second we walked in I already felt at home and I could start relaxing right away. This house is great and we would stay again in a second!

My family has been staying at this property every summer for many years and we cannot say enough great things. The house is beautiful and well appointed, with stunning views and comfortable spaces for all to enjoy. The layout is perfect, being open enough for everyone to gather together but the bedrooms/bathrooms being on different levels offers welcome privacy. The house is big enough for multiple families to not be on top of each other while still being cozy. The wrap around deck is the perfect place for morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped and you'll have everything you need to cook your meals even for a large group. The homeowners are incredibly kind and responsive. Location of the property cannot be beat, central and close to everything yet you don't have neighbors right on top of you. And the best part? Dog friendly! Truly feels like a home away from home. Our family loves this property and will continue to return year after year! Thanks so much Kenneth!!

Cozy and comfortable

This place worked out great for us! Minutes from Attitash and Bear Notch Nordic Center (dog friendly), as well as good proximity to North Conway. The big main room was perfect for reading, card playing, and looking at the incredible view with a glass of wine. The hot tub also got a lot of use and was very enjoyable. The only drawback was that, as the kitchen is a bit tight, we thought there should be a little less in it to free up some storage. A few things could use an update, but it was super clean and so minor compared to a beautiful house in a beautiful place, where we could have our dog! They were also great about trying to extend our stay when we asked. I did miss a visitors book…I love seeing what other people have enjoyed, and sharing my own tips. I would go again in a second, and would love to be there in the fall. Thank you!

Hot tub issues

We asked numerous times if the hot tub was working because that is why we chose this property. Previous reviews stated problem with hot tub. We were told it was working. Well when we got there it was not working and they said they would send a technician out. Tech said they had been there multiple times. Place was nice and spacious but very disappointing. We received credit for hot tub.

Yes, the hot tub was not working at that time. This was very sudden problem and unexpected. As you know, the tub could not be fixed on the fly as parts needed to be ordered. That being said, the parts were quite expensive so instead of fixing the tub we purchased and installed a brand new hot tub and got rid of the older one. We are constantly making improvements to the property. The hot tub is working fine now so you would be very pleased if you visit us again. My deepest apologies about the tub not working during your visit but these things do happen from time to time and they cannot be controlled. As was mentioned we credited you in full for the tub fee and hope to see you again soon in the mountains.

Tired Private Mountain Retreat

This home is wonderful if traveling with family and friends because it affords three large private bedroom areas. It really gives you that "away from it all" feeling as there is only one other home on the road. The drawbacks for our group were the two full bathrooms. While clean, they needed to be updated. The deck areas provided beautiful views but were old and creaky. We also had a few mice- two in the family room and one in the downstairs bedroom. When I called the manager he brushed it off saying this was a common thing in the mountains. The final issue is that we paid the hot tub fee upfront. After seeing the hot tub, we decided not to use it. I asked three separate times to have the money refunded but did not even get a courtesy call back from the manager.

Thank you for your comments about our treehouse. The hot tub is cleaned and serviced prior to guests' arrival (if they've opted to use the hot tub; it is optional, at the time of booking). The fee is used to pay for these services and in turn, is not able to be refunded. Occasionally in the mountains, a field mouse might find a way into the house. Rest assured that this has been dealt with and our guests should not experience this issue. We encourage our guests to let us know if they have any repair or maintenance concerns so we can deal with them quickly.

Our family Christmas in New Hampshire exceeded all expectations!

Our desire was to have Christmas in New Hampshire at a home that could accommodate a family of five (all adults now). The Glen property more than satisfied the need for separate spaces with it's 3 levels providing complete privacy. The description of the property, and it's amenities is very accurate. The house is perfectly stocked and all systems operate flawlessly. Here's the the most dynamic feature of all - THE VIEWS. They are stunning and mesmerizing. You will find it difficult to pull yourself away from the jaw dropping mountain views. The place more than exceeded our expectations, and I mean everyone's expectations. Not only was it Christmas, we also celebrated a birthday, and my son proposed marriage to his girlfriend (she said yes). I chose this house for many reasons, but most importantly, one that would provide long lasting memories for the family. Mission accomplished. The house is privately located. We experienced no traffic, no neighborhood noise - just peace and quite. I highly recommend this property. Many gifts await your arrival. You won't be disappointed.

Dirty, Disappointing, Don’t Waste Your Money

Really horrible experience at this property. Dirty, refrigerator froze all our food, stove top did not work, could not set temperature on oven, had to water our winter coats until 9 pm because the heat was turned down so low that it was freezing and took that long for the heat to bring temp up, dirty dishes and utensils throughout kitchen, could not use deck because piles of snow and ice that no one ever bothered to shovel, old, dingy, dirty, outdated bathrooms throughout home, stains on sheets, hot tub did not work properly, and after spending way too much money for 3 nights we find out upon arrival that if you do not remove the trash yourself you are penalized by paying additional fees. No/weak cell service, internet keep going out, no cable. After expressing our concerns and disappointment got a subpar email back with no resolution. I end up calling the number provided for the owner, which is actually a realtor, they proceeded to call me rude. They promised to get back to me after I requested a refund. No call back, but a message letting me know that there has been a refund applied to my account the hot tub that did not work properly and for a cleaning fee of for a dirty/disgusting home that I had to clean myself upon arrival). Thanks for refunding me what I DID NOT RECIEVE AND NOTHING FOR THE ACTUAL INCONVIENCE AND DISAPOINTMENT. I should of let the toilet and shower back up into your home instead of me spending 30-40 minutes unclogging the pipes when I was trying to leave to go to work to prevent the overflowing back up. This is a nice “thank you” on your part! Oh, and there were labels throughout the home stating that if you used a towel you were responsible for washing and folding the item yourself!!! Your better off spending a fraction of the money and renting from one of the local motels in the area!

This guest sent us an e-mail the afternoon before she checked out. This was the first time we had heard from her, while she was here. Yes, she noted she was having several issues in her e-mail. When the e-mail was received, the morning of her departure, we responded. We wished she had reached out when she checked-in, by phone (office line or emergency line) or e-mail, as both are provided to guests. We could have helped her with many of the problems she was experiencing. Some of the problems could have been quickly resolved with a conversation, as they were not “issues” at all. Our other options would have included sending a handyman over, or our housekeeper, had we been given the opportunity. We apologized to the guest for her experience, as this is certainly NOT the norm for guests who stay at this property. Due to the experience this guest had while she was here, we refunded her the hot tub fee (the jets are working, FYI - we could have walked her through how to operate them properly). She sent some photos of debris in a kitchen drawer and some dirty pans. Cleanliness is of course a valid concern and again, we wish we would have been given the opportunity to address it. We were not given the opportunity, so the cleaning fee was also refunded to the guest. We had a repeat guest arrive at the property the very same day this guest departed. There were no reports of a non working fridge, shower, bath, hot tub, etc. This guest was extremely rude and dismissive on the phone (she called the office, as she was driving home on her departure day). She was not interested in anything we had to say or offer. We agree, this guest would be better suited at a hotel. We would not offer her accommodations with us again. The guest also filed a formal complaint with VRBO, which was closed, after we were given the chance to tell our side of the story.

Magical

Magical! That is the word that I used often here and best describes the feeling this beautiful home gave us during our stay. Sitting on the deck watching the sunrise, relaxing in the hot tub, cuddling up on the comfortable furniture, the beautiful glow of the fireplace and the fact that they provided almost everything you need are only a few of the things that make this place so amazing. I honestly can’t put into words the feeling we felt sitting on the deck drinking coffee looking at the stunning views all around us. We almost didn’t want to leave to go explore the area around us, But glad we did because it’s close to many outdoor adventures and great food. I recommend the Red Fox Bar and Grille if you’re looking for a place while here. This hidden “treehouse” in the mountains is a great place to enjoy happiness with the people you love!

Perfect stay in the trees

We enjoyed our stay in the treehouse. The home was filled with lovely decor, and the views from this home are absolutely breathtaking.

View from the trees

This is one of the best locations we've stayed at. We've visited this area of New Hampshire for many years and have rarely been disappointed. The Treehouse was perfect for our annual family gathering. Viewing the sunrise from the deck in the morning with coffee was spectacular. Plenty of space with everything we needed and being dog friendly was a huge plus. It was as if she knew right where the toys were. We look forward to visiting again next year.

Home away from Home.

We have rented homes every year in the white mountains for our Summer vacation for the last 12 years. We make it a point to get a different home every year but we will be coming back to this property. We were so happy with this house and it's location! Beautiful views and outside space that included an outside shower and wrap around deck. Nice flower pots, great Weber grill and newer hot tub. The house also has a great garage that was very useful. We were able to take the roof and doors off the Jeep and park in the garage. More importantly, this house feels like home and had everything you could possible need. Really too much to list but we never wanted for anything. All the furniture was also super comfortable. We had great family time at this property and would highly recommend it!

Great views and close to Storyland!

The views and proximity to Storyland were perfect for our group. We loved that we could bring our dog and he thoroughly enjoyed himself as well as my two kids. The deck is precariously perched about a steep drop and the 2x4 railings made me nervous with my 5 and 7 year old so I’m glad they weren’t younger. The oven took forever to cook... not sure if that’s on its last legs but we made it work. Would love more and darker blinds in bedrooms to prevent early summertime wake ups. Beds were comfortable though the main floor bedroom was a bit stuffy due to lack of AC. Dirt road with loads of raised rocks in driveway weren’t kind to one of our vehicles. Appreciated all the streaming options, nice screened in porch (too many bugs to be outside otherwise), and the hot worked fine while we were there - everyone enjoyed that! Overall, while not the best house we’ve ever rented, we did enjoy our stay.

Great Getaway

Beautiful property with breath taking views. Home is well appointed, clean, all the comforts of home nestled into a mountain side with a view that will knock your socks off when you walk through the door. Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous mountain getaway.

Winter wonderland

We had a lovely time in a beautiful mountain setting. The house was well stocked and clean and the most impressive views! House is located with many attractions close by, sleigh rides, skating, cross country skiing, down hill ski areas just to name a few. The hot tub was wonderful after skiing with such a spectacular view.

Professionally managed by Top Notch Rentals, the owners use this home regularly as there is so much to enjoy. They purchased this property in 2006 so they could have a beautiful home in the mountains to enjoy with their family and friends. They have spent many wonderful seasons in Bartlett treasure. They love to bike, hike, ski and snowshoe and they also love visiting Story Land in summer and all the attractions at at Attitash, Cranmore and the North Conway, Jackson, White Mountains area. The hiking in the area is amazing and if shopping is your thing, the outlet shopping is second to none. Good restaurants, and many local attractions make this the perfect vacation spot for a Get-A-Way. Whether you enjoy river swimming, kayaking, hiking or a lazy afternoon on the deck, you will always enjoy the peace and quite this home affords.

We fell in love with the panoramic mountains views and knew that this would be our home in the mountains. There is no better place in the world that the large wrap-around deck for a cup of coffee in the morning when the sunrise paints the sky pink and peeks over the mountain range. We love the huge picture window that stretches from one end of the room to the other, the mountains views are second to none and we love watching the weather and the seasons change in front of our eyes. We have spent many wonderful Memorial Days, 4th of July, Thanksgivings and Christmas holidays in the mountains so we know it is a wonderful place to relax or celebrate with friends and family. Despite all the fun and attractions that the area affords, we love the peace and tranquility of our Mountain retreat the most. After day day out in town, hitting the outlets, restaurants or hiking the trails, skiing or even kayaking the Saco, it is a great feeling to return home to a wonderful place to put your feet up and relax.

The one of a kind mountain views is the best benefit of this gorgeous home. Besides the views, the two features we love the most about this home involve sitting with friends and family around the wood stove in Winter and enjoying the morning coffee on the adirondack chairs overlooking the views with the morning paper. We love the open floor plan, the high ceilings and the dirt road which give the place a private setting to cherish. Fun memories have made this home unforgettable. Fully equipped with high speed Internet and numerous streaming channels plus YouTube TV for all cable networks means you never be too far from your connected life either. Whew!
