The cabin was ideally located for our hiking plans in the Gunnision National Forest and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The cabin and the resort in which it is situated had all the amenities we needed and was in a beautiful setting. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience!

The cabin was what we’re looking for. Nice bed, a full kitchen and nice sofa. It was a little warm during the day as it didn’t have ac, but it’s a cabin and we enjoyed staying there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at the resort. 4 older couples rented cabins to do a little off-roading and aspen leaf peeping. The location is great! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Having a restaurant on the property was convenient and really good barbecue!

Resort has nice shop, plus BBQ restaurant and an award-winning Willowfly Anglers, which helped me with flys for the best river fishing I have ever had.

Our one bedroom cabin with a kitchen was basic, with older carpet and furnishings, but offered what e needed as a base camp. The bathroom was a little updated and the shower was wonderful. The front porch and charcoal grill were nice. You can almost never use fires in Colorado anymore because if the extreme fire danger, so that's not available.

The property is stunning and the perfect access point to everything the Gunnison Valley has to offer. Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and the spot of spot you want to relax at after fishing and hiking. And you can’t beat the location within the resort either, it felt private while having access to everything you could need or want. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious and exactly what we wanted at the end of long days.

We want to hear the live music on Thursday night and hang out and have dinner at the BBQ outside deck, what a neat place.
