Welcome to this charming and super cozy Historic Craftsman Home.
Nestled in such a perfect neighborhood South Park, just minutes to everything ypu want to visit.
This home offers 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, living and dining rooms, breakfast bar, 3 exterior furnished spaces to start your day with cup of tea and sunrise, a BBQ grill and an organic garden to seat back and relax after your day jorney.

*House is not smoke friendly and not appropriate for children 1-7.
No Pets, please🙏

Lyn's Place is ideal either for small families with older children, working travelers, lovely couples or group of friends who wants to be treated like at home and hoping to enjoy the unique experience at our place❤️

The house has a fully fenced in front and back yards for privacy & safety. The tandem driveway can hold 2 cars comfortably and has a Level 2 EV Charger (Daily fee applies, ask your Host) or you can park safely and easy on the street.
The front porch is ideal to sit, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the world go by.

As you enter our inviting and light-filled home with original word work. You'll find the living room with a comfy vintage style couch and 2 arm chairs, a 55 inch smart-tv where you can log into your favorite streaming services. A large hutch contains board games & puzzles and the bookcases are filled with books for your enjoyment during your stay!

As you move into the dining area, you'll find a dining set for 4, reading nook, breakfast bar with seating for 4, and a welcoming window seat.

The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need. A dual coffee maker (will make drip coffee or use K-pods), toaster oven, full size fridge , stove & dishwasher and kitchen utensils are all available to you. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses and silverware are also available for your use. You'll find the kitchen stocked with coffee, creamers, basic spices and even a few food items in the pantry.
Guests are welcome to head outside and cut fresh veggies and herbs from the organic raised beds garden just outside the back door!

The master bedroom and en suite bathroom, offer a queen size beds, dresser,
and clothing rack. ( Please note the closet is not available in one room.) The master bath has dual sinks, and a rainfall glass door shower and equipped with all toiletries.

The 2nd bedroom offers a full size bed, dresser, small walk in closet, and a workstation ( can be raised to standing) desk & chair, as well as a private door to outside drive way.

The 2nd bathroom has a shower/ tub combo and pedestal sink, has all toiletries for your use.
Laundry (a washer and a dryer) is available for you right in unit in the hall closet.

Beautiful outdoor spaces are inviting with a comfortable bistro dining set on the small back deck, dining set for 4 with a large umbrella on the back patio and a gas BBQ grill.

All of the spaces in the home are contain lush plants, gardens & fruit trees all available to guests.
Guests should be aware that docile honeybees can sometimes be found pollenating outdoor gardens and trees.

4 guests will sleep comfortably in the 2 bedrooms. Let me know before booking if your company is total of 5. Will be happy to discuss.
Your host will greet you for check in. Check in time is 4pm, but can be flexible with an advanced notice.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.

Lyn has taken great care in restoring and modernizing her part time home. This cozy home is filled with antiques and trinkets from all of her life's adventures. She prides herself on being an active environmentalist and the house is cleaned and sanitized using only natural products.

House is equipped with an energy saving smart thermostat which will cycle off when guests are away. Cooling & heating will reengage when movement is detected.

Your assistance in recycling and conserving electricity and water is greatly appreciated.

Historic South Park is just a perfect location either for local individuals or each traveler who desires to explore San Diego with the most comfort and satisfaction.
This centrally located charming and safe neighborhood is fullfilled with amazing local restaurants, shops and sights. It is a very walking beautiful neighborhood richly "flavored" with nature creations and with ample street parking.
South Park is bordered right with famous Balboa park and other two amazing and popular neighborhoods: North Park and Golden Hill.
Balboa Park golf course is in walking distance and offers public use and another excellent (Hole in the wall) restaurant.
The neighborhood market is just behind the house.
Active folks have close access to walking and running trails.

Here you will just within minutes from Balboa Park and the Zoo
Downtown and famous Gaslamp Quater, Convention Center and Petco Park.
Famous Little Italy, Seaport Village and beautiful Coronado island is also just a few minutes away!

This location offer you easy access to freeways so all San Diego will be in your hands:
-Seaworld, beautiful Pacific and Mission beaches, Mission Bay with Belmont Park
-Fashion Valley Mall and Mission Valley mall are 15 minutes away. Both have movie theaters and an abundance of shopping and eating venues.
- La Jolla, Ocean beach and Torrey Pines are just 15-20 mins away.

We are in the flight path to San Diego Airport so you can entertain yourself with airplanes watching while taking a break from exploring the city🌆.

Owner of the property (with her 2 dogs) stays part-time in an Airstream trailer during guest stays. She will have her own private area of the back yard and will not disturb guests, but is available for lively discussions.

Guests should be aware there are 4 steps ( no hand rails ) up to front door.

Using the car:
There is plenty of street parking around the house with no restrictions.
Walking around:
Safe and beautiful neighborhood with a lot to explore.
Public transportation:
Bus stop is just 1 block away.
Taxi:
Uber/Lyft is pretty cheap around cantral San Diego.

☆Take advantage of your host’s knowledge of the city, great restaurants and fun things to do to make your trip memorable and special.

☆ Please remove shoes before entering the house.
☆ A level 2 EV charger is available at the rate of $20 per day.
☆Any extra guests, after 4, will incur a $100 per guest per stay fee with a maximum of 6 guests total, including kids. Listing is not ideal for kids 1-7 years of age. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.

Communication is key to easy avoid any unclear situations and have a comfortable stay.

☆Please, keep in mind it is an historic home. Please be gentle.
☆Minimum 1 day prior to your checkin, please, send me all guests's full names.
ID may be asked at the checkin for identity verification.
☆Absolutely no marijuana plant matter is allowed on the property. This includes, buds, joints, vapes, flowers etc. (Edibles are completely acceptable)
Any remnants of marijuana use on the property will result in an extra $600 cleaning fee.
☆Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or any other drug use or possession on the property. Any smoking or vaping should be done outside of the fence and all other drugs of ANY kind should be kept off premises.
☆ If you need something mail to you, please make arrangements to have your package sent to pick up location. We can not accept any guest's mails at the address🙏

☆Please be advised that regular maintenance workers will be onsite occasionally. You can expect to see Gardeners ( bi weekly on Wednesdays, Pest control ( 1 time monthly ) and/ or Tim ( our resident Pooper scooper, weekly on Thursdays). You will not be notified a ahead of time.

☆No pets, sorry furry tails!
Property is not ideal or ESA/Service animal as dogs on the property are very reactive toward other dogs, but very people friendly.

ESA/Service Animal policies:
-A $300 electronic deposit is required for all animals before check in. Deposit will be returned no longer than 8 hours after posted check out time to assure no damage has occurred.
- Guest must provide complete vaccination records for ESA/Service animal before check in
-ESA/Service animal must never be left alone in the Casita or on the property.
-ESA/Service animal will not be on the bed or other furniture. An extra cleaning fee of $150 will be charged for pet hair, pet odors, or pet stains found on any furniture, rugs or linens including bed linens, throw pillows and towels.
-ESA/Service animal will not come in contact with any animals on property without a formal introduction and testing of temperaments. If there are any issues, we will all do our best to avoid contact.

Perfect home away from home

The house could not have been more comfortable. Everything we needed to cook meals - the Food Bowl grocery was so convenient and nice. Love this location near everthing - Love South Park neighborhood. Met the owner of the house and she was so nice and accomodating. Cute dogs too! We will return!

Beautiful home in South Park

This is a beautiful home - museum-like interior design, very comfortable bath and bedroom. Lovely kitchen and dining area. The front porch is a great place to sit in the evening and relax. This is a truly outstanding home! Nina is always available and accommodating - she is a real asset to the rental. Lyn - the owner - is lovely and available (with her friendly dog) in the trailer right outside the kitchen - very accommodating! The neighborhood is great to walk around and the house is close to everything. A truly wonderful experience!
