Family Friendly 3BR Getaway! Central, Convenient, & Charming.

Our home is located in the charming neighborhood of North Park in central San Diego. North Park has some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, and plenty of interesting shopping. Forbes Magazine recently voted North Park one of the hippest neighborhoods in America! It’s conveniently located minutes from downtown, Balboa Park, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Petco Park, Qualcomm, the Convention Center and wonderful restaurants and cafes. Numerous San Diego beaches and SeaWorld are within a 15-minute drive. Drive 30 minutes further, and Lego Land and the Wild Animal Park await!

We offer pet and family-friendly accommodations. Our charming home has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Access to a fully functional kitchen, A/C, new Washer/Dryer, BBQ, patio and secluded, fenced backyard are all included. Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, dedicated work-space and access to a printer make it easy to check in with the office.

We had an amazing time in San Diego staying at Rachel’s house. Perfect for a family of four and our dog - there is an awesome park within a 3 min walk. It’s an older house but we were comfy - especially with the fireplace on during a colder evening. Really great location near beaches, Balboa Park, good eats. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. And street parking was never an issue. Thanks again!

Perfect Location, Comfortable Home

The location is close to almost everything you’d want to do on the area. Clean, comfortable, and well provisioned home. Owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating. We come back, we stay here again.

Gem of a house in North Park neighborhood

This house was awesome, as was the owner who was super helpful. The house is in an adorable, cute, safe neighborhood. Pretty much everywhere we went was 10 minutes away! I am really particular about noise and comfort when sleeping and the rooms were so cozy and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked, the house gets nice natural light, has multiple seating options for meals, and had plenty of towels, including beach towels.Would absolutely stay here again and hope to in the future.

Perfect family getaway house

The property owner is great and communicative. Property has everything you need for a family vacation including games that kept my kids busy! Tons of parking on the street. Nice location for visiting Balboa Park, Sea World and the beach!

Wonderful Stay!

This house was perfect for our visit to San Diego! We stayed with our two young children and appreciated the extra touches to make our stay easy (step stool for the kids, laundry detergent supplied, among other things). The location was great for everything we did. It was also on a quiet street and we had no issue with parking. The host was always quick to communicate and check in on us. Highly recommend this house!

Cute home with lots of character

We are really pleased we chose this house to stay in. It was August and warm so the AC units in every room was a must and it all worked really well. Important for me is windows and doors are accessible. We didn't have children with us but could tell it was well stocked for anyone bringing children. Rachel, the owner, is easy to get in touch with for any needs you may have. The neighborhood is quiet. Parking is easy to find in front of the house. The bedding is cozy and comfy and lots of dining and seating areas inside and out. I would definitely stay here if we need to visit San Diego again.

San Diego get away

Convenient to airport and zoo. Our family enjoyed the space. The weather was nice so we ate outside on the beautiful patio.Overall space was good. It would be great to have a 2nd full bath. But we made it work fo 4 adults and 2 children.

Nice family house near a great park

Our family of four (2 young kids) had a great time in San Diego. The house had everything we needed as a family. The mattresses were comfortable and the location was central for us. Only a five minute drive to the zoo and enough room for every one. The porch swing was a hit with the kids!

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay at this vacation home! The house was a lot bigger than I expected. The master bedroom was generously sized and well appointed. The other rooms were plenty big for our needs, as well. The location was prime for our vacation as it allowed us to visit places on our itinerary with ease. It was close to everything but was enough away from the freeway and bustling neigborhoods surrounding us that it was nice and quiet for a good night’s sleep. All interactions with the neighbors were pleasant. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. There were a lot of little details that we really appreciated and we loved the fully fenced and private back yard and patio with its beautiful plants and flowers. Our hostess was wonderful to work with. She gave good instructions and was readily available but her information via messaging and what was available in the home didn’t leave us needing much. We had such an enjoyable stay!! Thank you, Rachel!!

Bff getaway

My bff and I take a trip yearly and this year was San Diego! The house was amazing, neighborhood was quiet, parking was easy right in front, the kitchen had everything we could possibly imagine needing. They had things to keep a baby too such as a playpen and highchair. They really were prepared for anything. I'm pretty tall for a female so the shower could be a bit tricky for an adult male but that's just part of the charm of an old home ❤️ we loved seeing all the cute architectural pieces of the home.

Amazing SD home

Stayed here with our three kids (8, 6 and 3) for about a week. The home was perfect! Plenty of space for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet, and we enjoyed the park a few blocks away. We really appreciated the beach toys and boogie boards on our beach days. The house was located close to everything and provided a nice retreat after our days exploring. We’ve come to San Diego for the last several summers, and this house stands out as exceptional. We’ll be back!

Amazing stay!

This home is very clean and centrally located to most everything. All you need is accommodated (dishes, grip, beach towels, beach equipment, cooler, etc). The house is spacious and has great games for the family to play. Communication with the owners was friendly and prompt. Owners also provided us with excellent recommendations to try out locally. Our family had a blast and would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation 2023

We loved this property! It met all our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Just minutes from the North Park farmer’s market and all the little shops. If you are into reading check out Verbatim Books, it’s a great used book store. Piacere Mío in South Park is great Italian restaurant.

Second stay at lovely home

This is a great family house - lots of supplies, games, and thoughtful touches for families with kids any age. It's not fancy, but it's very homey. The neighborhood is quiet at night, walkable and offers a lot. It's easy to get to any part of the city or the beaches. The host/owner is kind and friendly and very available. The second stay was just as great as our first, better because we knew we were in good hands. We really appreciate Rachel's house!

We have so many happy memories in San Diego, and while we're away, it makes us happy to open our home to others who want to experience the surf, sun, and R&R San Diego has to offer.

We are centrally located in a quiet residential neighborhood just a quick 15-minute trip from the airport. Close to everything, you'll enjoy the ease in which you can get to all the great destinations: SeaWorld, Balboa Park, downtown, Petco Park and of course miles and miles of beaches! North Park is known for it's great coffee shops, unique restaurants, and artsy village feel. We also appreciate our safe neighborhood, full of locals out jogging, dog walking and strolling the sidewalks. Having a huge, new park just a block away is so convenient.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

One block away sports a secluded little park, 1 mile away and you'll find days worth of activities at Balboa Park. We love morning walks to one of the numerous, local coffee shops. Drinking coffee on the front porch swing while watching the friendly neighbors out jogging, dog walking and frequent baby strollers is always treat. Mostly, we love the fresh air. We eat as many meals as possible outside on the back patio...evenings under the twinkling lights make us happy.
