We had a wonderful stay in Galena! The home was just as described and was the perfect location for us—close drive to downtown Galena and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was very clean and had all of the amenities and had all the amenities that you would need. It was nice that had two living areas so if you have separate families, it’s nice to have separate spaces to hang out if you wanted the passes for the resort were also really nice to have so you could use the pool or the game room or the restaurant which had a really nice brunch! Would definitely stay there again!

Property was perfect for our family of 5 to get away with our dog. There was room for more even. Very clean and even though they allow dogs it doesn’t smell like dog or even have any dog hair anywhere…which was nice for us who have a doodle mix because 2 of our children are allergic to dogs. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We enjoyed our stay, accomadation were very nice. Had all the essential items. Beds wers all comfortable. Ease of check in was great. All in all everything was as described.Sent a message to the owners amd got a quick response. Beautiful area, visited Galena and other areas and used this as home base. Worked great.

We love staying here! Always clean, well stocked, close to everything and the hosts are wonderful! We look forward to coming back next year

Great Place to Stay

This property is great, with a living room on the main floor, and family room on lower floor, we all had plenty of space. Hosts were very responsive and we never had any issues. Close to all the areas we wanted to visit. Looking forward to staying again next year.

Everything was great! Very roomy and cozy for my family and fur babies. Good location and not too far to drive to any amenity or place we wanted to visit. Checking in/out were very easy and efficient. We’d definitely stay again when visiting the Galena area!

Great, cozy townhouse

The entire rental experience was A1. The home was clean & the furniture comfortable. It completely met our expectations. Working with the host David was easy & pleasant. We'd definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean and the host communication was great. However, it was missing many of the things we’ve had at other properties. It would have been nice to have Kleenex available. There weren’t any dishrags or sponges in the kitchen.

We weren't informed that a tree fell on the upper deck and tore off all the railings making the deck unusable, this is where we planned cooking on the grill and relaxing days and nights, we had to carry food down 12 steps and across the building length to cook on a very cheap grill with a small surface, I'm 73 yrs old so the steps I didn't appreciate. If we were informed of the damage we would have booked elsewhere. Description was misleading to me as I thought there was a pool at the property as well as a indoor/ outdoor pool at the owners club, so you have to drive a couple miles to get to the pool. Their property is at the end of the other houses so you have to carry luggage down steps and walk a little ways, parking is not right in front of the unit itself. Unit was very clean and beds were comfortable, very nice having a bathroom for all bedrooms. The sliding patio door in lower family room wouldn't lock and screen door was not on just leaning against the window. We probably would have given 5 stars if not for the damage that we weren't informed about and feel the price should have been reduced due to property not being as pictured. I also asked questions to the hosts and would sometimes have to wait 12 hrs for a response.

Hidden treasure...

The property is perfect for the weekend getaway. Had what we needed to cook in the kitchen, was clean, and owner was very communicative and open to ensure we had a great experience. I would recommed this property especially if you want a bit of the lake access to yourself. There is a private park in walking distance for the plum cove properties to fish and relax. We spent near two days there and only once did someone else come by. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Lots of space to spread out. Several games to choose from. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, coffee pot, dishes, etc. The original post said hot tub, but when we went to the pool there wasn’t one. The next day we found out there is a second pool (Owner’s Club) and the neighbor said it does have a hot tub. We didn’t have time to confirm though. So check out the correct pool when you go. We liked how we got to see beautiful scenery (Waterfall, lake,trails), wildlife (deer, turkey, coyotes), yet close enough to downtown, Chestnut Mountain. We put our doggy in daycare for the day, but enjoyed having him back for our mini vacation. We will be back!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

My family of 5 and our dog stayed here for four nights over Thanksgiving. We had a fantastic time. The rental unit was clean and spacious with plenty of room for all of us to relax and unwind. We enjoyed playing boardgames, foosball, watching movies by the fire, and cooking delicious food. We appreciated the home being stocked with essentials and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The kids had fun at the club house and used the indoor swimming pool and table tennis. Our hosts provided excellent communication and instructions for check-in/out. We can't wait to come back!

Great location with neighborhood perks

The house was nice, with plenty of privacy between the floors. We could imagine 3 couples easily sharing the space with a bed and bath on every level. Also nice that we had access to the clubhouse with a pool and game room. One rainy day, that was especially nice. An easy drive to main Galena (10 min), and plenty of paths for us to take the dog. We wish there would have been some firewood for a fire and some basic necessities (paper towels, sponge for dishes). Otherwise, we really enjoyed the weekend away.

Very nice. The kinf si,e bed was hard as cement, so needed to change to queen which was better. A lot of dead flies, but its fall. this may be something i should have know, but you need all your log in/passwords to access tv station.something i should know,but you need your own info to aces

Great communication with owners

The townhouse was fully stocked. 4 chairs at kitchen table with 2 additional chairs for table in front hall. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Need to go down stairs from the parking lot to get to property. Upstairs bedroom was an open loft but with using the box fan that was in the closet it helped drown out the noise from below. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Seating in gathering areas was comfortable. Games were available. The upper deck had no access to the ground but had a walkout basement that had full access to the yard. Walking so many places close but it is in the middle of a significant hill. Golf course across the street. Close to the spa and owners club is close.
