Mallard Lagoon Lake Cabin/Cottage is located steps from Big Bear lake on Mallard Lagoon. The lagoon is peaceful and shields the property from the winds of the lake while leading out to it for easy access. Water foul love the inlet and it provides a tranquil setting for both wildlife and guests. The cabin borders on an easement and the properties surrounding the cabin are expansive giving open views across large properties to both lagoon and forested/treed properties. The large raised terrace/porch looks over the area and provides lots of space for sitting, eating outdoors, BBQs and even a nap or two. A three night minimum is preferred. 8 guest is the maximum-no exceptions please. Rates quoted are flexible and can be lowered if your guest numbers are less than the maximum .... so please feel free to contact us!

At Mallard Lagoon on Big Bear Lake you are nestled in one of the best and quiet neighborhoods in Big Bear. Downtown shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car or a 15 minute bicycle ride. Access to Big Bear Blvd. which is the main street that runs through and connects all of Big Bear to Mallard Lagoon area is very close but without noise or disturbances impacting the tranquility of the area at all.

3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, bedroom 1 with one queen and a bunk bed large private covered deck off of bedroom 1 with lagoon views, bedroom two with a king size bed and sliders out to a large open deck with unobstructed views to the lagoon and bedroom 3 with a queen poster bed off of the front room. Back bathroom has large shower and front bathroom has a shower/tub. Original stone wood-burning fireplace in cozy living room with leather furniture and lovely curated oil paintings of wildlife and more. Generous fully equipped eat-in warm country kitchen with all you need - seats up to 8 people and has a great old stove with a shiny griddle for pancakes galore!

The location of this property will leave you refreshed and enjoying the beauty, open views and lake access - tranquil and quiet yet just minutes to downtown restaurants and shops. Come and sit on the large deck perfect for grilling, BBQ, stargazing and raising a glass of wine with family, friends and loved ones.
