Enjoy a memorable vacation at our lake house on Keeler Lake in Decatur, MI, only a 2 hour drive from Chicago. The house is a fully furnished modern lakefront home. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, an open living/dining/kitchen area, and a large furnished 2nd floor loft.
Paddle to the middle of the lake and be refreshed while swimming with your family! This is a fantastic destination for your vacation!

The house sleeps a total of 13 people. It is fully furnished with a Pottery Barn décor throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, etc., and has 2 wood dining tables in order for the whole family to share a meal together! There is a large sofa and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. There's a TV in the family room for your enjoyment .

The personal touches in décor along with the large bedrooms give you the feeling of being in the comfort of your own home. Yet, big and spacious enough to have the whole extended family under one roof. Enjoy beautiful lake views from the living/kitchen/loft/bedroom areas.

For security purposes, there is a camera located outside of the house. It is important that you, as our guests, are aware of this camera.

Four Winds Casino Resort in Hartford is approximately 10 minute drive from the house. The newest hot spot in southwest Michigan has arrived! If you are looking for excitement, Four Winds Hartford is the place to be. This facility has the latest slot machines, table games and a second location of the popular Timbers Restaurant.

Our stay was great. The house has everything you need for a great stay. We used the kayaks to paddle out to the lake to go swimming. It’s hard to swim from the beach because there were a lot of lily pads. Property manager was very responsive.

Perfect for a multi-family getaway!

This place was wonderful! Absolutely loved the layout, perfect for multiple families to share. It was so fun to relax in the mornings on the back patio (mostly shaded, huge plus) before enjoying the lake activities!

VERY spacious, comfortable, beautiful home. Perfect for our family- toddler, child, parents, uncle, and. grandparents. Extremely well equipped kitchen with lots of counter space. Beautiful big flat lawn facing the lake. Second time here, planning to make it a yearly tradition.Kudos to Property Mgr. Melissa for helping us locate an urgent care center. I cannot imagine a better or more conveniently located vacation rental home! Quiet and peaceful too.

Lovely house, great stay

A perfect house for a low key girls getaway. The house is comfortable and pretty with beautiful views of the lake. We had fun exploring downtown Dowagiac during the day and relaxing at the house in the evening. We had a wonderful time.

Family Holiday at the Lake

We loved our stay at the house! We enjoy spending our holiday at Lake Keeler visiting family nearby. The house was clean and has ample room for our families and seven cousins! Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen has everything a family would need during a vacation. Thank you so much for having us. We can’t wait to visit again!

3rd time stay and still a gem

This is our third time staying at this property and this stay was just as good as each of the others. The house is spacious, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could need. We've stayed in both summer and winter and hvae enjoyed both. The property team has been responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful home and location!

2nd stay at this wonderful home with our family. This house is very well equipped and in a great location! There is a large yard which provides many things to do for all ages. We held our family Olympics there and had a wonderful time. We visited South Haven and went wine tasting in Paw Paw which are both very close. The lake is great with a sand beach for small children. Annual Family Vacation

The home and property was absolutely perfect for our 8 adult and 5 children vacation. Lots of shade in the yard and privacy for everyone in the home. We rented baby items from BabyQuip and a 15 person pontoon from Lakeview Marine Services. Very private and clean lake. Lots of great fishing off the dock for the little ones. Highly recommend this home!!

Family beach getaway

We brought 4 generations of our family to the house for a weekend getaway and it was perfect! Better than the pictures. Lots of room for the kids to play, private beach access and a plethora of outdoor activities for the older crowd. The property was extremely clean and family friendly. There’s not much to do in town if you leave the property, but if you’re looking for a quiet weekend to unplug it’s the perfect location! We will definitely be back

Beautiful Home on a Relaxing Lake

Pictures do not do this home justice, the house is magnificent with plenty of room inside and out. We had a wide range of ages in our group and between the lake, beach/yard toys and space inside…we always had something to do. I would definitely recommend this home to others looking to get away and enjoy a quiet peaceful vacation with friends and family.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group and the living space was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-stocked with all of the utensils/cookware that we needed. The outside area is so peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the large outdoor area for eating. There is a clear view of the dock and beach area from this spot and we could enjoy the lake view while eating and enjoying the outdoors. We caught so many fish and this made the young ones in our group eager to fish more. We had a truly wonderful getaway here. Thank you.

Keeler Lake Fun

Love this home on Keeler Lake! Big, beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. This was our second time renting and we hope to be back again :) It’s a small lake which is perfect for us. The little ones love fishing off the dock and tubing on the not crowded lake. Digging in the sand and playing in the shallow water are big favorites as well. House is spacious with a huge table for all of us to gather for meals, games and sharing our favorite part of the day! Owner is great as well. Having rented many homes, this is definitely one of the best.

Best Vacation Ever

Our grandsons said this was the best vacation ever and the grownups agreed thanks in large part to this wonderful vacation home. The arrangement of space allowed everyone to be together yet do their own thing- watch soccer games or make cinnamon rolls in the spacious and well stocked kitchen. All agreed the beds were very comfy and there were plenty of bath towels, beach towels and kitchen towels. The kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat were used daily. The yard had plenty of room for games and when it rained hanging out in the cozy family room was great. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We highly recommend this vacation home and hope to stay here again in the future

Keeler Lake House

A wonderful property and home on Keeler Lake. The home had everything we needed to make life easier. We rented from Baby Quip and they were on time and efficient with items. Caught lots of fish, did some kayaking, paddle boarding and play time on the beach.Playing cards and games at night, cooking dinners and sitting by the campfire. South Haven is 35 minutes away so that was a fun beach day. We had dinner at Timberline Inn (reservations a must). The Walleye dinner was terrific. All the comforts of home here and a great way to spend it with family. Thanks for making our week so special.

You will not be dissapointed!!!

This by far was the BEST house that we've ever stayed at! The picures on-line do not capture the beauty of this home and the lovely beach and waterfront! The house and property are very well maintained and very clean. The beds and all of the furniture was very comfy! There were plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen appliances were relatively new and was well stocked with plates, silverware etc. A suggestion I would offer, is to replace the pingpong table in the garage (it's broken) and perhaps have another table game such as an air hockey game. It's a great space for the older kids to hang out and have fun! One other suggestion is to consider replacing the kayaks and/or getting two more. Overall I would definately come back!!!

Our dad built this house because he couldn't find a Lakehouse big and spacious enough for all his kids and grandkids to stay in together that was close enough to Chicagoland in order for family to go back and forth to work if needed! We now love sharing this gift with other families that have the same circumstances!

The lake is small and very peaceful- it is a true getaway from the hustle and bustle. Yet, close enough that you can get back to the big city if needed.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The design of the house- it was built for an extended family to stay together comfortably. Master suite on main floor for Grandparents, and 3 big bedrooms upstairs that can hold 3 families, and loft area for all the grandkids to sleep together! There isn't another lakehouse in SW MI that is modern, big, spacious, and huge flat back yard leading into a lake that comes close to this lakehouse!
