Spacious lakefront home on peaceful Cable Lake.

Summerwind is a gorgeous and quiet home nestled on Cable lake in Sister Lakes Michigan. Cable Lake is framed beautifully by this inviting updated ranch. Large windows let natural light and the views of the lake pour into the main living area. The new deck, accessed by French doors adds outdoor living space, and the open concept of the home allows for lake views from the kitchen, dining and living areas. The lower level walkout opens to a beautifully landscaped lawn that slopes gently to the sandy bottom lake.

Summer Wind is located on 90 acre Cable Lake, which is a private non-motor lake in Sister Lakes, MI. This quiet, clean lake is perfect for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, paddle boating, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and swimming. The fishing is outstanding. There are 6 other lakes all within minutes which provide a variety of environments. Most are motor lakes and boat rentals are available through local vendors.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Lake was very peaceful and not too busy. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and just floating around. The house was perfect for our group. Enjoyed the large dining room table that allow our group to have meals together. A few minor things came up, but were resolved promptly by the owner. I would definitively recommend this property.

Great stay over all access to all the amenities was wonderful. Might want to invest in some fishing new fishing gear what was there was pretty busted so we didn’t bother trying to use it and the best were all mostly busted up as well luckily we brought our own with but over all everything else was great. As my brother stated picture on the website don’t do the property any justice. House looks way better in person you may want to do some better professional pics.

Great property on private no motor lake.

We have been staying at the same place every year for about 5 years now. Love the location and the owner as they are always updating things around the house. The communication is always really good. Have not had any major issues with them.View is very nice of the lake. Plenty of parking. Plenty of deck and patio space. Large open floor plan for our family. If your taking a look in the area, make sure to check out this place.

The overall stay was great. The interior of the home was extremely clean. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and two infants. I gave the home a good rating instead of a perfect rating because the walk out patio area needed attention and the upper deck area also needed attention I broomed the deck and walk out patio area. I cleaned the patio/deck furniture. This included the tables and chairs. We enjoyed the fire pit area each night The lake and sandy beach were perfect for recreation. We all took the kayaks out on the lake. My husband took the row boat out and came back with some fish for supper. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Labor Day at Sister Lakes

We had a blast. Lovely lake house. Kids really appreciated the communal toys in the Pirate’s chest in the basement. Would love to stay there again.

Summerwind cottage family vacation

Amazing experience from start to finish. Our kids loved everything. The grill was very dirty from previous renters but my husband is a clean freak so he enjoyed having a project while i took the kids to driftwood. Everything was exactly like it was in the pictures. Very clean. Very quiet. Very relaxing. I really enjoyed showing my kids how it is growing up on cable lale during the summer as i did when my grandpa had a cottage across the lake. We will be back next year. Thank you Frank and family for renting out your gorgeous lake home.

Great, spacious place!

Plenty of room, great deck and waterfront space. Kitchen is perfect for large meals. 3 bathrooms is great! Check-in and checkout were easy. Hope to make it back again!

Wonderful Family Getaway

We love Cable lake but this was our first time at Summerwind. Such a great house with room for the extended family. The private beach and kayaks were amazing we enjoyed the 10 min kayak ride to main beach on occasion . DVD collection was great and we enjoyed some classics in the one rainy day we had. Loved our stay!

I was born and raised in Michigan. I moved to Illinois for film school, met my wife and stayed put, got married and started a family. I own a video production business in Illinois. We stay at Summerwind as much as we can and rent it out when we're not there.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The house offers some great privacy while still being super close to tons of activities. Cable lake is gorgeous and peaceful while the neighboring lakes have sport activities and boating. It's really the best of both worlds.
