The stay was nothing like this. Sorry and shocked to see this impression.

This review stems from fraudulent, malicious intentions from a guest whose primary goal was to secure a refund from my property from the moment she arrived. She intended to fully utilize the property and its amenities while still obtaining a refund. When I refused her request, she explicitly warned me that she would leave a review designed to damage my property’s reputation—and she followed through. My property adheres to strict health and safety protocols, exceeding all city ordinances. Everything is clearly labeled and well-maintained. The concrete floors are solid and not slippery, with no signs of wear, cracks, or broken tiles around the pool area or pathways leading to it. The pool itself was fully renovated less than two years ago and underwent thorough county inspections to ensure it posed no hazards in or around the pool area, making it safe for both children and adults. All fixtures, fittings, and lights are secure, as are the steps and ladders. The grill area is located far from the pool, ensuring there is no danger from that aspect either. Access and egress to the pool are more than adequate, and the property is inspected frequently, both before each listing and annually, to maintain permits and ensure compliance with all regulations. Despite this, the guest fabricated claims in her review in an attempt to damage my property’s standing after failing to receive the free stay she sought. She included photos that do not depict my property and used photos from elsewhere and made false statements in her review. I had alerted Vrbo during her stay regarding her intentions. I sincerely hope this matter is resolved and that the platform does not allow individuals to exploit hosts or tarnish their reputations alongside that of Vrbo itself. I also wish to flag guest Tara McCoy in an abundance of caution to other honest and hardworking hosts. I request her review be striken from the platform since it's nothing more than mere fabrications, false narrative with bogus evidence, and manipulations used to mislead other guests.
