Bayview farm is a beautiful, quiet lakeshore environment, so it is important that guests are careful to take care of the natural beauty of the place. This means being considerate of neighbors, not littering, and being especially aware of fire safety, both in cookouts and campfires (these are allowed in appropriate weather, by permission of the owner as to location, etc.). If you are a smoker, we allow smoking on the screened porches or other outside areas, as long as fire safety and littering rules are followed. It is also important that guests be careful as they enjoy the property, as there can be slippery rocks, slopes, and the like, and no one wants anyone to get hurt. It is especially important that children be supervised at all times, especially around the water. Bayview farm has a variety of boats that you are welcomed to use, at your own risk, but we do require that you use life vests as well (which we provide). At times, we do allow pets if they are appropriate, but only if you contact the owner in advance and receive permission. We need to "pre-screen any pets, so this must be done directly. Most importantly, though, we require that you relax and enjoy your stay here!
