Great for those who want to visit and explore the city and itā€™s many excellent restaurants. It is a great starting point for exploring magnificent Lake Champlain.

The apartment has been newly renovated using natural materials and free of toxic substances in the respect of your health and wellness. It is cozy and comfortable with a gas fireplace, modern kitchen and a bath with a heated floor! Enjoy the private deck with the piped gas grill.

Sweet!

The Wellness Suite really was sweet! Very comfortable, with lots of extra nice touches - coffee, tea, juice, milk, and some very handy packets of oatmeal and granola for breakfast. Plus a welcome bottle of wine! Mary Ann was excellent at communicating everything I needed to know for my first stay here. Thank you!

Perfect for a Burlington Experience

This place is perfectly located for a Burlington experience. The location is less than a half a mile from downtown and the space is wonderful. The carriage house has a spacious and comfortable balcony that gives you a glimpse of Lake Champlain. The space has a wonderfully stocked kitchen and the bedroom overlooks a lovely garden with flowers, birds and squirrels providing entertainment. The space was well planned and even had a small washer and dryer which came in handy. I was impressed with the eco friendly set up with bio friendly cleaning supplies, recycling, and composting. Best of all is that we felt pampered by the extra touches of wine, chocolate, coffee, milk and juice. It truly lived up to its wellness experience. We rented bicycles and explored everything within the city by bike. It was so nice to leave our car parked in the driveway for the entire visit. We highly recommend this space for a perfect Burlington experience. The host really understands the needs of travelers. We canā€™t say enough about how welcome we felt and the conscientiousness of this host!!!. Kudos to this host and the comfortable and well stocked living space!!!

Amazing spot close to everything

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to church street for lunch and dinner, and it was a super easy drive to the lake. The location is close to the airport, and it is easy to get to the highway to travel to other parts of Vermont. It was clean, organized, and well appointed. The bed is very soft so be aware of that if that style of mattress is not what you need. We were there during a heat wave, so the room did get warm, but Mary Ann provided a little space cooler that helped a lot! Mary Ann was so easy to reach when we needed her and was extremely helpful. Overall, we had a truly amazing trip and would highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at the Carriage Barn. Mary Ann thought of every little detail to make our weekend so comfortable from the filtered water to the bottle of wine. We walked downtown to the farmers market and dined several times on Church Street. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Delightful Stay!

My husband and I spent LDW at the Carriage House in Burlington. We had perfect weather so we walked to town (1 mile). We did not rent a car and were able to walk everywhere (except the airport). It was nice to have the fridge and stove to make breakfast in the morning. We used the French press and drank coffee on the balcony. It was very private and comfortable. Exactly what we had expected from the positive reviews!

Weekend of solitude

This place was immaculate and just perfect for a weekend of solitude and relaxation. It was a little less than a mile to Church St and the downtown waterfront. I walked everywhere. Note: the house is at a top of a hill. At the bottom of the hill was the farmers market, ArtsRiot (not open when I was there) plus a few places to grab a beer or glass of wine. I would totally stay at this place again.

Lovely!

The Wellness Suite was exactly as described/pictured. Very well equipped, clean, and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful extras. We brought our bikes, and there is a secure place to lock them up so you didnā€™t have to have them on your carā€™s bike rack when doing other activities. Mary Ann was super responsive to all of our questions and provided great instructions for how to access the property, use equipment, where extras were stored. Thank you - we hope to be back!

Perfect Carriage House

The Wellness Suite is perfect for a couple visiting Burlington. Itā€™s in an ideal locationā€” walkable to the Church Street Marketplace and many other fabulous restaurants. Mary Ann provides wonderful touches throughout her impeccably designed and maintained space. The Wifi was very good allowing my husband to work remote for part of the time we were there. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at! Do not hesitate to book this carriage house if itā€™s available. We were very lucky that the dates were free for a quick weekend visit in the summer.

Wedding Weekend

This was a fantastic place to stay! My wife and I attended a wedding and were looking for somewhere more affordable than the many overpriced hotels in the area. We could not have been happier when we lucked out and found this suit. We were less than a mile from downtown Burlington (we walked to town most days), air conditioning was in the suit, and the host was amazing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Burlington.

Great base if ever in Burlington

Mary Annā€™s apartment in Burlington it a great place to stay if youā€™re ever in the area. It was very clean, well appointed and with lots of room for the two of us. It was great to have offstreet parking and to be within a fairly easy and level walk to town (15 min). The host had generously supplied quite a lot of provisions, but it was also very handy to the fantastic City Markets, which is a lot like WholeFoods. We especially loved having a deck of the lounge / kitchen area and we used the barbecue on two evenings. It is a great set up for a short stay in Burlington.

Wellness Suite was just wonderful!!!

My husband and I stayed with Mary Ann for our daughters UVM graduation weekend. The suite was perfect. We cooked most nights and had all that we needed to get dinners for us. Lots of windows and light, beautifully furnished, nice extra touches for us (granola, milk, juice and wine)!!!!! Had off street parking for our car, but close enough to walk to campus for the graduation festivities and not have to worry about parking a car. Yes, walking back was easier since it was all downhill :) We walked to the waterfront and Church Street and went to some of our favorite spots for maybe our last time. Beautiful residential area that was quiet and peaceful. Thanks Mary Ann for such a great stay and for offering up your Wellness Suite for others to enjoy on their trips to Burlington!

Perfect for two people!

This property is a perfect place to stay for two people. We loved the distance from downtown, the size of the apartment, and everything about it! Highly recommend this property if you want to be a short ways from downtown and driving distance to anything.

So very nice

Everything was great. As my son is very tall the host provided an air mattress so sleep on. She left us a jar of milk and orange juice in the refrig and many other basics. Very nice the air purifier, extra heat in bathroom and great bed. We would stay again
