Comfortable Family Home in a quiet Osterville neighborhood. Great for your Cape Cod summer vacation. Comfortably sleeps six, bed sheets are not included. Tastefully updated,offering a fully appliance large kitchen and dining table that will easily sit 8, plus a center eat-at island. All hardwood floors, and beamed ceilings. Newly renovated bead board detailed bath with tub and shower. Bonus room in the basement with sectional sofa and fireplace. Enjoy the private back and side yards with deck,picnic table and patio furniture, gas grill, perfect for cookouts, and relaxing on summer evenings. A Beach pass to all Barnstable beaches is included. Dowses Beach and Craigville Beach are great ocean beaches and are just 2 miles, Joshua's Pond for fresh water swimming, and Osterville center are 1.5 miles. Convenient to Rt. 28 and a 10 min drive to Mashpee Commons, Hyannis and the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. All are close by and great for swimming, shopping, dining out, biking, sightseeing and walking. There are Three bedrooms and a full bath upstairs.The Kitchen, dining area, den with new smart TV, full bath with shower and living room on first floor. One finished basement room and laundry room down stairs. Through the den slider is the back deck furnished for relaxing and the outside shower.The clothes line helps when returning from the beach.

Great house and stay

Lovely house with a nice location. Away from hustle and bustle but a quick ride to the beaches and restaurants. Host was so easy to communicate with and overall happy with the stay. Thanks.

Fantastic property!

Perfect home for girls trip! Joanne and Gary were wonderful hosts. Having the beach pass was a big plus! Accommodations were very comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked! Thanks again and hope to stay again in the future!

Beautiful house & great location

This home was the perfect size for our family of four. The gardens are beautiful & the home had everything we needed. The furnishings and beds were comfortable & all was up to date & clean. The area has a lot to offer in addition to the beaches. The host was easy to communicate with. Great stay!!

Amazing Location, Beautiful House

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful and has a variety of different rooms to spend time with your family or just relax! We really enjoyed the family/tv room with the amazing sofa with recliners and sliding glass door! The beach pass to local beaches is a great addition, we cannot recommend Dowses enough, right down the street! We did not want to leave! Also, the backyard is like a bird sanctuary! Wonderful vacation!

Great house near beaches and shopping!

This house was perfect for our stay. Everything you need can be found in the kitchen including dishes and cooking needs. The fridge had basic condiments which saved us unnecessary trips to the grocery store. There was plenty of room to relax and get away from each other when we needed a break and the bedrooms were comfy. Perhaps most importantly the home was clean! The beach parking pass came in handy as there are beaches within a 8-10 minute drive from the house. I highly recommend this home and the owners.

Absolute relaxation with an enchanted garden out back!

We stayed the last week of July into the first few days of August. Despite the humidity, we had such a relaxing stay at this home. My first impressions were that it was kept impeccably clean, it had a country charm to it, and the bonus was this amazing picture window to watch over an incredible enchanted garden (complete with hummingbird visits). It was absolute relaxation while there with just about all our needs were tended to. Plenty of room for pre-teens and kids to have their own space and adults to chill as well. The bedrooms were air conditioned and cozy; overall it was a perfect vacation for our entire family of 4. Worth noting is that the owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating to our family. We tend to bop around to different properties in Osterville, MA, and this property was really a great find. We will be returning in the future for sure!

Nice home in nice neighborhood

Loved using the outdoor shower. It is not really walkable to town or beach but it’s in a nice neighborhood. Used the beach pass a lot.

Family Vacation

Joanne and Gary have created a lovely vacation destination in their charming home. There were 5 adults and 2 young children in our group and the size of the house was perfect for us. There are nice outdoor areas, as well as enough indoor areas to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped which lent itself well to cooking some family meals. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood conveniently located to many area activities. This was our first visit to Cape Cod and we will return not only to the area, but to this well-maintained home.

Beautiful home!

Our family had an incredible stay in Osterville! This property had every single thing on our check list. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, air conditioning, and even laundry. We especially loved the outdoor shower. The beach pass to the town beaches was a fabulous perk! The owners were very gracious and responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful yard, clean and comfortable home

This immaculately clean and comfortable home was the perfect spot for our family gathering., with space for everyone. We especially enjoyed the lovely yard and garden with delightful visits from many birds including hummingbirds. Both the house and yard provided a perfect vacation location for our family.

Beautiful home, very roomy and comfortable. Gorgeous back garden private. Just lovely. Great area

We stayed a week. It is in a convenient location to access the whole cape and ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. We even went to Newport for the day, an easy day trip. Very comfortable family home. We were four of us and it was very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, has everything you need. It even was stocked with coffee and condiments which is so convenient. Beautiful back garden where we enjoyed happy hour and early mornings. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. The cape has so much to do and see and this was a perfect base.

Perfect cape getaway!

The home was as described and then some. It was very clean and spacious. The outdoor areas and backyard were to die for. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and lots of seating for the adults. The location of the house was great as well. There was easy access to anywhere you wanted to go in the cape. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking!

Very nice spacious home

We stayed in this house a week and it was great. The house is surprisingly spacious, with a large eat in kitchen, den, living room on the first floor and a large finished basement (which we never used) as well. We spent a lot of time on the back patio. This house is situated on a very nice lot and it's very private. The home is equipped with everything, and the owners are responsive and delightful to deal with. I know Osterville, and this is a great location. We would definitely rent again.

Very comfortable!

We stayed at this Osterville home for 2 weeks in July. It is located in a quiet residential area about 2 miles from Dowses beach. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house was welcoming and very comfortable, which was a good thing as the weather was not entirely cooperative. The kitchen is huge, and the entire house was very clean. The finished basement was great, the kids could play on the Nintendo Wii after a long beach day. There was also a pullout couch down there which came in handy when another relative visited for a couple of days. There is a lovely deck on the back of the house and we very much enjoyed watching the birds and especially the hummingbirds that came to drink from the water feeder. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, and we did have one small problem involving the hot water heater. The water would only be hot enough for one shower before running out. I called Joanne and she sent her husband Gary over right away. The problem was solved within the hour. We had no other issues and had a wonderful time staying there. In fact, we will be returning for another 2 weeks next summer. We recommend this rental!

We love Osterville. It is convenient to Hyannis where there is lots of shopping and restaurants, yet Osterville is a quieter area tucked in off the main road with it's own great shops,beaches and restaurants.

This home is welcoming,the large eat in dining area attached to the kitchen makes for cozy gatherings, that can flow out to the picnic table area for a backyard cookout.
