Cozy Country Getaway in the Heart of Upperville

Located in the center of the historic village of Upperville - across from the Hunter’s Head Tavern. The house is situated on 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens. It feels like an English cottage that dates to the early 1900s and is newly renovated with new wood floors and carpet in bedrooms. There are 2 large bedrooms with 3 beds and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom is on the main level making it easy to access. Upstairs is a large loft with a desk area. Parking provides space for 4 vehicles. Dogs are welcome. High speed internet available. Washer/dryer in the house.

We were lucky to get this lodging in Middleburg where there are few affordable options. The host was helpful and responsive to our questions. The place was spacious and very clean. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was perfect for our jaunts through Loudon and Fauquier Counties. Safe, comfortable, beautifully located and excellent parking. Our host was very helpful in suggesting routes and places to explore.

What a charming, comfortable, well appointed home. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Jennifer and Federico were great. We hiked Sky Meadows and visited several wineries and breweries with our pup. This area is just beautiful and it recharges our soul each time we visit. The Hunter's Head is a must if you visit the area and is literally right across the street from the house, which was super convenient.

Our family of four and our dog had a wonderful stay at this cozy, spotlessly clean home. The layout was ideal, featuring a bedroom and full bath on the main floor, and a spacious upstairs bedroom with a second full bath that easily accommodated three people. The house felt airy yet warm with its high ceilings, and it came fully equipped with everything we needed.The location is unbeatable. We walked to lunch at Hunter’s Head Tavern and were just a 15-minute drive from our wedding venue at Bluemont Vineyard. Historic Middleburg (and Salamander Resort) is only 8 miles away for easy grocery runs at Safeway and local shopping.Our dog loved the large, quiet, and private backyard. The host was exceptionally communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this home and would definitely return!

The emailed information and information at the house had conflicting information. It would have been nice to have a full length mirror somewhere. It would help to have window coverings in the bedrooms that block light. Even though check in was at 2, the cleaning crew was still there after 2. Check out was supposed to be at 11, but the cleaning crew showed up around 9.

This cottage is in the heart of Loudoun County's Horse and Wine country. It was warm and welcoming from the moment we unlocked the door. The ac and heat worked great as we needed both during our week there. The kitchen had everything we neede yo prepare our contributions to the Family Easter dinner. The host answered our questions very quickly. We will definitely book again next time we come back to hometown to visit with family.

We had an amazing stay at Federico and Jennifer's home. The house was exactly as described and was clean and well stocked. During our stay, I texted Jennifer a question about the home, which she promptly answered. Upon checkout, we discovered that our vehicle had a problem so I called Federico to see if we could borrow some tools. The way he treated us was extraordinary: in addition to providing the requested tools, he went above and beyond to help us get on the road--giving us his personal bungee cords to secure my SUV tailgate that would not latch, entertaining us with historical tales about the area and his own family's story, and making us feel like friends rather than a nuisance for staying an hour past checkout dealing with the vehicle. All in all, I cannot recommend this home and these hosts enough. If we are ever in the area in the future, we will most definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway! Charming, clean and welcoming. Owners are very nice. Wish it hadn't been the hottest days of the summer, though. Will have to return again to explore the property and the village when it's less than 100 degrees outside. Thank goodness for air conditioning!

We enjoyed our 10-day stay in this perfectly located cottage. Jennifer was very responsive and accomodating. The hidden treasure are the gardens next door. Middleburg is 10 minutes away, where we found outstanding restaurants. The surrounding community is beautiful. We will stay again!

Perfect

The home was very cute, clean and comfortable! Although we stayed just two nights and we were out and about most waking hours, it offered us all we needed and the owner Jennifer was quite responsive to our needs. Would love to return soon and do more ancestry exploring!

The village had a sidwalk from one end to the other, which was great for the dog. We also walked the dog in the episcopal church meadow and the backyard of the house. Route 50 is a main thorofare in the area so some road noise and car lights at night. House was great and had what we needed. Thank you for a great weekend.

Wine Country Weekend

We had a lovely stay and the house was great. We needed to get in contact with the owner and she responded immediately and helped us with our question.Our only dilemma was we could not control the nest thermostat but it wasn't terrible or we would have contacted Jennifer and she would have responded quickly I am sure. We would definitely stay here again!

Getaway for art work

The attractive house, marvelous location, friendly host and simple instructions made my stay both fun and productive ! I had planned on hiking the area, but a broken ankle prevented this— yet I found the home experience manageable with ground floor bedroom and bathroom. I was able to have several meals at the Hunters Tavern (yum!) and I trust the fine recommendations of the host! Will definitely return.

Lovely cottage, Beautiful area

The cottage was just perfect for a short Girls Weekend trip. Jennifer and Federico were great communicators and responded quickly to any questions we had. The cottage is decorated nicely with lovely touches throughout. Comfortable beds. Loved the back yard. We sat in the Adirondacks most evenings and watched the deer graze! The location is wonderful for visiting Middleburg, Purcellville, Marshall and The Plains. Many wineries, breweries, shopping and good restaurants. And the mountain scenery and horses was beautiful. Hope to return! Thank you!

It was a very pleasant stay, 14 minutes drive to beautiful Middleburg town where you will find Shopping, restaurants & bars, We stayed here for three nights. The property is looked after very. it was comfy for four of us. Internet worked great. Be careful of driving late at nights due to deer are everywhere, but that is the beauty of this part of rolling hills of Virginia. There are a lot of wineries near by attend to. Over all is was a nice experience. It was easy to reach the owners, & we will stay here again. Thank you.

Comfortable Home

The house was as advertised and very clean. The house instructions were clear and check out instructions where minimal. We had some slight confusion on working the thermostat and the bedrooms became much warmer in the evening, than the main areas. But as long as you knew that you could turn the temperature way down. Overall, the house was very comfortable and was a great location for us to spend two evenings during our visit.
