We booked this guesthouse last minute for an overnight getaway & couldn’t have been happier. Perfect place for a quiet couple’s recharge. Bring food to cook, gourmet kitchen is well equipped & great space. Steam shower was a true luxury & the bed, pillows & bedding were very comfortable. Tons of treats from our host & very reachable via online chat for any questions. Thank you Lynn.

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely night on the gorgeous property. The guest house itself was perfect and the additional personal touches (handwritten note, bottle of wine, fresh croissants and local eggs, bedside chocolates) just added to the already well accommodated stay (kitchen essentials, lovely soaps and room sprays, toiletries) made us feel like we were staying at a friends home. Perfect location, stunning views and just an all around wonderful stay. We will be back!

Mrs Lynn Lilly pad guest house is amazing!!! It’s a home away from home very close to downtown Middleburg shops and wineries.My wife and I can’t wait to come back to enjoy this retreat country side guesthouse.the kitchen was amazing!!the bed room and bathroom was very comfortable and large living room space was more than enough space for relaxing thank you very much for the hospitality Mrs Lynn.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway to Middleburg (our favorite VA town) and one of Virginia's best west regions. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the property is beautiful. The house is even more spacious and cozy than the pictures depict. The extra space to workout is a great amenity as well. We felt at home from the start and certainly hope to stay here again for our next wine country weekend.

Weekend getaway

This was my partner’s and my second time staying at this property. We love it and the attention to detail that the hostess brings. It’s idyllic in both fall and summer and super convenient to town. We’ll continue coming back to the farm!

Perfect storybook setting

The house exceeded our expectations! The property is lovely! The host includes little niceties such as high end bath products and big fluffy towels. Lynn brought delicious pastries one day and left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. Would definitely return here the next time we are in the area!

A little slice of heaven

This area is just so beautiful. The guest cottage was in a perfect location, neat as a pin, and well stocked for us and our pup. We enjoyed the wildlife such as fox, turkey, geese, and deer. Lynn and Jonas were the quintessential hosts - and generous as well. Communication was very easy. We so appreciated the local wine and treats - it really made us feel at home. We will be back!

Wonderful trip to Middleburg

My wife and I had a great stay with our dog. The house was clean and well stocked for us. The location is great, close to everything we wanted. We would recommend to anyone else looking for a nice peaceful getaway.

Amazing Long Weekend at the Lily Pad

Lynn is an amazing hostess. She even brought us pastries and wine. What could be better? Peaceful and immaculately clean and well appointed. If you need a break, come here.

Perfection!

Every aspect of this stay was one of the best we've ever experienced. All of the reviews we read online were spot-on. The property is beautiful, and the owners are great communicators and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Upon arrival there was a welcome letter, bottle of wine, snacks, fresh eggs and pastries that Lynn had provided. She also had a dog bed, toys, food and water dishes, and dog treats for our springer spaniel. Every afternoon at dusk we had about ten deer visit the yard for about an hour. Our dog loved walking the property on leash and playing off leash with my husband twice a day. Expansive land.The property is very close to all things Middleburg. Her husband kept us supplied with firewood for the great room fireplace. And the kitchen is set up for gourmet cooking with top notch appliances. The bed was comfortable, and the steam shower was awesome. Plush towels and plenty of room. Lots of beautiful artwork, books, and games to peruse. Our hosts live in their home on the same estate, so it was comforting to know they were close by if needed however we never needed them and other than to say Hi when we first arrived, they respected our privacy. This experience was perfection for me, my husband, and our dog! We totally will stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent stay

We stayed here for one night for my husband’s birthday and had a great time. It is very close to the downtown area and to wineries/breweries. Lynn was very responsive and helpful, and the little extra touches were thoughtful. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Mini-Moon perfection

Special touches by host with treats, info, Etc. house has everything you need including an up to date kitchen which can make all the difference in a stay. We loved the privacy, location, and would highly recommend!

Beautiful place and property. We loved this place so much! It’s exactly as pictured. The host is wonderful, she provided a local bottle of wine, had some snacks, eggs in the fridge so we could make breakfast. Loved the steam shower! Perfect location to the downtown and wineries.

Great spot, even better host.

Lynn was an awesome host. She was super easy to communicate with and gave recommendations for restaurants and a voucher for a near-by vineyard. As long as you're okay with being near the main house, there is not a single drawback to this great house and host.

First class guest house in beautiful setting!

We enjoyed our 12th wedding anniversary in a fantastic guest house in Middleburg horse country. The hosts could not have been more thoughtful or generous...a bottle of Va champagne, croissants and local eggs for breakfast. The kitchen is absolutely gourmet! The views are stunning as is the house itself. Private, on beautiful country lane just a very short distance from the town of Middleburg. We had an unforgettable dinner at the Red Fox Inn. Wandering the local country roads was just great for me checking out all the houses, barns and land of legendary foxhunting!

The Best!

Exceeded expectations

Wish I'd had a week and not just a day to enjoy this beautifully appointed house with luxury amenities (Frontgate towels! Lavender pillow spray!) and thoughtful treats. Like staying in the home of a beloved relative. Highly recommend.
