Our family had a great stay with perfect weather. All the outdoor spaces were beautiful with lots of seating. Outstanding views. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful visit at this beautiful property! The house was clean and had all the supplies we needed. The only problem was the air upstairs was not working and the dock supplied door locked on us and it did take a bit longer than we hoped to have someone come out to unlock it for us other than that we had a wonderful visit and would definitely come back!

Wonderful place for a family reunion. A great time by all. Everyone had a quiet place to retreat if needed. The dock was so much fun with kayaks and paddle boards. The kitchen was missing/broken some of the items listed. I know this is typical in rentals but was inconvenient. Every refrigerator was needed for 16 people. Thank you

A grand experience

Yellowstone was grand in scale. The lake view was expansive and beautiful. The decking was in fabulous shape. A generous amount of amenities and activities.

LKG favorite

Our family has been coming to LKG for almost 15 years. Our teenagers have grown up spending a week with their cousins on the lake and everyone from ages 10 - 50 said this was their favorite place. The home is beautiful, the dock setup was awesome, and everything was better than advertised.

Our stay in the Yellowstone was amazing. To be honest, we spent most of our time on the dock, which provided enough room for our party of 16 adults and 4 children. Don't get me wrong, the house was beautiful, again 20 people and no one was on top of another, plenty of room between the living room, dining room and decks. I would recommend the Yellowstone, especially if you are just looking to hang out with your family! We brought with us a jet ski, bass boat and pontoon, it worked out great! Lake was warmish and calm.

A wonderful experience for my annual family retreat!

Our family had an unforgettable time at this stunning log cabin! The views of the sunset over the lake were absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque setting. The cabin was well-equipped with tons of fun activities – from shuffleboard to board games – and the kayaks were a fantastic way to explore the lake. The beautiful dock was perfect for swimming, and we spent hours enjoying the water. This home truly has it all, offering both relaxation and adventure in a gorgeous setting. We will absolutely be recommending The Yellowstone to friends and family for their next getaway!

Awesome time at Yellowstone!!

Our family takes a week vacation to either a lake or a beach. We chose Yellowstone at Lake Gaston having never been there before. It was wonderful!! The family consists of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone wants to go back to Yellowstone next summer. I’ll be making that reservation soon. The house was very well stocked with everything we might need. We did need kitchen towels and dishrags. The boat dock was terrific. The paddle boards and kayaks were enjoyed but one paddle board did have a crack when we got there. We did rent a golf cart to take us old folks and supplies back and forth to the dock but it wasn’t a bad walk. The weather was wonderful except a storm one night. A couple of doors leaked but it was a very windy and blowing sheets of rain. Looking forward to next year!!

Wonderful house and location

Our sewing group from church had a 3 day retreat at The Yellowstone. The house and grounds are lovely. The kitchen is well appointed. We were able to relax on the deck and also work on various projects. When we checked in one of the two refrigerators wasn’t working. The property manager immediately sent out a maintenance person to check it. Unfortunately it needed repair. Within 2 hours I had a call from the owner saying a brand new one puls be delivered first thing in the morning. It was about 7 PM, so that was very reasonable. The refrigerator came, as promised. This issue was resolved in a very prompt and concerned manner. Kudos to the property manager and owner. The location on the lake is lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
