What a great property. Peaceful and relaxing. The host, Kim, is amazing!! East to reach if there is a problem and keeps in great communication. This was our second trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Dunn House. It was a comfortable, well-equipped, lovely house with pretty views. We loved the total privacy and never saw or heard a neighbor the whole week we were there. As other reviews mentioned, it was a decent drive to any grocery stores or restaurants, so we planned accordingly. Our host was very responsive.

Great vacation destination

This property is no less than amazing! Stunning views! The house has an older farmhouse feel with modern comforts. Close to Boothbay, Wiscasset and Bath.

Quiet, comfortable family vacation spot

The house was comfortable, and the property was beautiful and peaceful. We would have enjoyed it more if we could have accessed the water from our own yard.

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. It is in our listing that guests have access to the dock that is in front of our other house that is a short walk down the drive and that is the easiest access. This is disclosed in the listing. Many guests have accessed the water from many points on the property as well as right in front of this house too, The Dunn house has beautiful views and although you have to walk a bit for water access the house is well equipped and large and is priced well to reflect that.

Relaxing retreat

Another lovely stay at this beautiful property. Relaxed setting surrounded by beautiful wildlife and river with nearby hiking trails. Highly recommend!

Wonderful quiet comfortable property!

We loved our stay at this well-equipped comfortable home on the Back River. Extremely quiet and very clean - you can fully relax all day onsite or use as a home base for outdoor adventures. We plan to return!

Lovely Property

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dunn House. The home is lovely and very well appointed. A relaxing and lovely setting. Close with nature for sure…saw deer dining on the lawn nightly, and Eagles on our kayaking trip and ducklings crossing the road… Nature, nature, nature!!

Wonderful time!

We had a great week at the Dunn house. The kitchen has everything you need on vacation, the great room was light and airy, and the bedrooms had plenty of space. We brought our dogs and they loved having the huge lawn to go and run around. The location is great—not too far from touristy spots but nice and quiet so you truly relax on vacation. Hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful property

So many great touches at this property. The owner has thought of everything! It is a quite secluded but were able to go visit many nearby towns knowing it would be a little bit of a drive. We enjoyed having kayaks delivered to the property and kayaking a few days.

Beautiful Spot

A beautiful house in a very private and scenic location. We enjoyed the view and the trail around the property. The trail markers were difficult to find at times but it’s an easy hike and the view from the point is lovely. Our dogs enjoyed running around the large yard and lounging in the sun.

Paradise by the sea

This was a gorgeous property with everything you need for a peaceful getaway. Yard was large and peaceful. Great chance to see wildlife we saw deer, blue heron, loons, and a bald eagle!! Host was very prompt to get back to us on any questions we had leading up to our stay. Highly recommend

Secluded getaway

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house had so many extra touches for us and our dog. Any time we needed something, it was there. Plus, it was furnished and stocked with top-notch items like 680 count sheets and ll bean comforters. The hosts were intentional about making their guests feel like it was their own home away from home.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time at the Dunn house. The location of the property was beautiful, and the views were amazing. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The sunroom and the living room gave us plenty of space to spread out. The owner was quick to respond and answered any questions we had. Our whole family had a great time and would definitely love to stay there again.

a BIG slice of heaven on earth!

Another perfect stay at Hubbard Point. Life's tension is shrugged off heading down the driveway. The house is always spotless and inviting. The grounds are very private and peaceful. Amazing sunsets had us "staying home" for dinner followed by a star lit sky. A good night's sleep is all but guaranteed on very comfortable beds and wonderful pillows. We'll be dreaming about next years' stay!

Maine Paradise

This property is stunning. It's so private and pretty. The house has that authentic Maine historic feel in the rooms of the original house, and the additions over time, including the majestic sun room, round it out as an amazing vacation spot. We didn't realize that there was water access on the other side of peninsula, but that's on us for not reading everything thoroughly. Otherwise, this one is up there with the best we've stayed at. Thank you!

What a perfect place to unwind!

From the minute we drove down the driveway I knew we had a relaxing week ahead of us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and then some. The views are spectacular and we made sure we were "home" to enjoy the sunsets. The eagles provided a daily airshow. We got to see the local porcupines without incident! Our four legged son Newman was delighted with the bucket of toys at his disposal. There was plenty of hiking close by so we didn't have to deal with the masses. We'll be counting the days until next year's return to the Dunn House!

Small piece of paradise

Our stay at the Dunn House was nothing short of amazing. We had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kids room got a little warm, but the fans were helpful. The AC’s around the home were essential and very much appreciated. The home is peaceful and every night we were greeted by a family of deer and other wildlife. Kim, our host was incredibly responsive to our every need. The home is located a little off grid so if you’re vacationing with kiddos and plan to travel to Saco, Old Orchard or Popham - you’ll need to incorporate travel time into your plans. Great place to getaway with your partner.
