Looking for a great place to stay to have a fabulous mountain vacation? This 3 bedroom and 3 bath home is the place for you. Offering you a view of Grandfather Mountain and the eastern sunrise. Whether you are here to ski or cool off in the summertime, you will be able to relax in the semi-secluded environment. Enjoy the large deck or the fireplace in the living room while staring at the
majestic mountain view. This house has everything you need.
Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has bunk beds with a queen on the bottom and a twin on top. Beautiful open-concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances.
Located on Sugar Mountain, you are near all the amenities the area provides, and only a short drive to Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock.
Come enjoy and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely stay! Kitchen had everything we needed and house was a great location. We were visiting during an ice storm so would’ve been nice if there was salt available for the steep driveway. The shovels were helpful.

Thank you for choosing Sugar Mountain! We are happy to hear that you had a lovely stay and that you had everything you needed. Unfortunately, Sugar Mountain does not allow us to use salt in the area, as it kills plants. Our maintenance does use other products, if we are notified that a guest needs help getting in or out. Great views especially sunset and sunrise!! Good size kitchen and space for sitting. Rooms comfortable and having 3 full baths a plus. Only disappointment was there wasn’t actually a game room as advertised, only a few board games.

The place was very dirty, and there were no supplies in the house to clean with. The windows were unlocked and open. I wasn’t able to make it up the driveway so I called maintenance to have them come lay down some salt and they did, but they only did halfway up and when I called on it, he was extremely rude and was not helpful at all, but the worst part for me was the dirtiness.

We are very sorry that you did not find the house satisfactory. We spoke with you several times concerning the driveway and sent maintenance twice to work on it. We did express that you needed 4WD or chains since there was snow in the area. The house was also cleaned before your arrival. You did not mention that you found it dirty during any of your calls. We would have sent someone to clean anything that needed attention. Again, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.

Wonderful stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location and breath taking views. Was the perfect kickoff for Christmas. House is lovely and had anything you needed. I will come back to this house again! A few smile problems with the heat/thermostat but the realty company were very responsive.

Last minute Ski Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sugar and booked this home last minute. Janet did an exceptional job working with us to secure the home and it was completely updated and very comfortable. The home has a great view from the living room and porch if the weather is bearable enough to sit outside. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We built a fire in the fireplace and had a great weekend skiing and enjoying family. The driveway is a bit steep, but Daryl from the office salted it for us before we got there to make sure we could get up to the top. You may consider a 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive to get up the drive way, but there is a place for one vehicle at the bottom of the driveway if the road conditions are not good. It snowed 2 inches the morning we left and we were able to get down the driveway with no problem. It is not too far up the mountain of sugar to feel uncomfortable driving in the snow should it snow on you. We had a few minor mechanical problems but Daryl was very fast in taking care of those for us and we were one of the first renters of the season. You are less than 5 minutes away from the office and less than 10 minutes away from the slopes. Renting through Resort Real Estate and Rentals puts you at ease because of their attention to their guests and their ability to make things right very quickly for your stay to be perfect.
