THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ON OWASCO LAKE! Welcome to Baymont Mansion, LOCATED AT 59 BROOK HOLLOW DRIVE, OWASCO, NY 13021 - this property is a turn of the century brick revival completely renovated inside and out! It is located in the heart of the finger lakes; 5 miles from Skaneateles, 25 miles from Syracuse, and 45 miles from Rochester.

This spacious home is great for weekend retreats, small weddings, bridal parties, family reunions, hunting and fishing outings, winery weekends, corporate getaways, and bike tours.

The home includes a newly renovated gourmet kitchen and dining room with beautiful views of the lake. There is a large great room that separates each wing of the house and holds an antique billiards table great for entertainment. Two of the bedrooms are on the West side of the house with a king size bed and each offer a large, full bathroom off each room. The other 2 bedrooms are located in the East wing of the house and share an additional 3rd large bathroom. The back of the house includes an expansive deck overlooking the view and there is a covered gazebo for outdoor dining.

This is one of the most beautiful spots on the lake, nestled in a cove, often calm, and great for swimming. Additionally, there is a boundless back yard, and a bonfire pit down by the water. There are so many features of this home that will make for a perfect getaway with a loved one, family or friends!

Great Family Vacation

Property and house were exactly as listed only cozier. Perfect for a family from Nana&Papa to 3 month old grandchild...everything we needed and plenty of space. Access to water was perfect for younger children and not too far from house/deck. Owner responded immediately when there was a small issue with kitchen sink. Enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return.

Spacious stay

This house served as the perfect place for my family and I when we were in town for a funeral. Incredible view we just wished it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the lake and backyard more.

Location was beauiful. Ice machine did not work. The pullout couch in the Library had a depression in the middle. My sister-in-law had to rewash her sheets because she said they smelled like they were not clean.The night stand on the right hand side of the pullout couch bed in the library had a dirty glass with I don't know what in it in the drawer. It was nice to have a double washer and dryer with the small children. The gazebo canvas has seen better days and we were afraid to open the awning on the back porch.One of the kyaks did not have a back seat. We did like the dock. Bathrooms were nice. I have not yet recieved my security deposit. There needs to be additional storgage for the outdoor cushions so we could have put them in before the rain.

Great stay at a beautiful location and place

Big family we grew up on Owasco Lake. This place was perfect. Great indoor and outdoor space and lawn for games and dock for our rented boat. Great communication, great help. Perfect week!

Wedding Weekend

Our son got married at Emerson Park in Auburn. We had family coming in from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Germany. The accommodations were everything we needed and then some ( though I missed a waste basket in the master bath). A lot of time was spent on the deck and on the dock enjoying the unobstructed view of Owasco Lake. Some in the party even ventured out on kayaks or for a little dip in the water. The proximity to the wedding venue was also perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect location with large, comfortable, house

This is our third year staying at the lodge, joined by children and grandkids. With extended family in the Finger Lakes, we have gatherings with everyone ages 3 to 90 who enjoy the swimming, kayaking, large yard, gas grill, pool/ping pong table and so much more. It’s not luxury but is so easy to enjoy and create lasting memories. We will be back.

Auburns history

The property was the perfect setting for multiple generations to learn the history from the family elders. Not a story that didn’t include Owosko Lake.

Great location, house needs some TLC!

The location of the home is perfect! Great neighborhood with an easy drive to grocery stores and activities! We arrived at the home at 4:00 pm and the property owner was there to meet us and give a tour of the home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were freshly painted. One bedroom did not have central air and the window unit had black mold. Because my children have allergies to mold, we had to purchase a new window unit. The owner did agree to reimburse us. The glass cooktop in the kitchen was cracked which created some challenges for dinner prep. The refrigerator was filthy and I had to scrub it prior to adding our food. Additionally, we would recommend investing in an exterminator as there were many ants in the kitchen that were beyond what one would normally expect. Lastly, while the great room has beautiful wood, the room had a musty smell that was not helped with open windows. Overall, the home could be beautiful if there was investment made! Compared to other like homes we have rented on the lake, the cost did not align with the condition of the house.

Roomy mansion

The location is spectacular - we enjoyed swimming and kayaking on the lake, and relaxing on the patio. The house is comfortable and roomy, with a large great room and four good bedrooms. The kitchen is large enough for several people to cook together. The kitchen cookware and utensils are not well organized and a few expected items are missing, but we got along fine. Some drawers and cupboards contain old random junk, and some fixtures could use a refresh or repair. The host lives nearby and was friendly and responsive. I would come here again.

Girls' Weekend

The house was very spacious for 8 people. We enjoyed the ability to relax comfortably and sit out on the back patio while drinking our morning beverages. We plan on coming back next year. Also, the homeowner, Joe, was great!

Great weekend retreat

The perfect place for a cousin get together. Plenty of room for the seven of us. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the big deck, the big yard, and took advantage of the kayaks with easy lake access. Would definitely stay again!

A great 5th stay

This was our fifth stay, which in itself says plenty. The house is under new ownership, and they have given the houses a re-freshening. There were new linens and towels. A new living room set and re-arrangement made the "pool room" welcoming and comfortable. A tv was added above the fireplace. Air conditioning was added, though we didn't need it. We met one of the new owners, and we're encouraged that more positive changes will enhance this great property. The scenery was as fantastic as ever, and we made good use of the spacious deck and grill. I highly recommend this property.

A little piece of paradise!

Location, location, location. I stayed at the lake house with my family and my brothers family. Together there was 4 adults and 4 kids between the age 7-11. We love Owasco lake and we loved our stay at this beautiful historic lake house. The house sits on a large lake front property. The water was great for the kids as it is shallow upon entry. The house is spacious, with plenty of space for the kids to hang, nice size kitchen and dinning room—we like to cook. One minus, there were no wine glasses—however this was not a showstopper for us. Would like to rent this house again on our return trip to the lake.

Lake Front Beauty

This home offered a beautiful lake front setting with great water access. The house was large with a great layout for all the family. It supplied kayaks and a pool / ping pong table and games giving everyone something fun to do. We hope to stay here again next year. The family truly enjoyed the week at the lake. Thank you Silvia
