This unit was immaculate as far as cleanliness. It was a great space for our 4 adults, though it could definitely accommodate more travelers. The location, view and beaches were out of this world! We had an absolute blast! I highly recommend this outstanding property!

The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. We had no issues whatsoever. Our room was nice, spacious, and clean. We had a great view of the pool below and the beach. Would stay here again.

This was our families first time to Destin/Fort Walton area and it was beautiful! The room was easy to access and it was nice to have a parking garage to park in. The condo itself was nice, well stocked with towels, and other basic necessities. My kids loved the pools, we had a view of the pool and beach from our balcony. The pier is walking distance with shops and restaurants too. Overall we will definitely be coming back!

Great location with a great view! This is a nice looking, spacious condo, and is better priced than some of the other units nearby. It came with a nice big kitchen to cook in, and plenty of pots/pans. We really can't complain, except the floor was really dirty and some things had minor damage from previous guests.

Nice property. Great location. They should heat the lazy river a little in October because it was ice cold and you couldn’t really relax and enjoy it.

Location! Location!

The location and view from the balcony is always my favorite! The room smelled a bit musty when we arrived but went away with the fans moving and door opening and closing. Had plenty of dishes for cooking!

This unit was well maintained. Perfect for my family.

We’ve stayed in other units at Destin Beach and Bay Resorts. This is one of the nicest, by far. Will remember this unit and try to get it again next year.

Great place for kids.

Pools are amazing. Management was right on top of anything we asked for. Great places to eat close by. Security people were very welcoming and informative. The actual condo could have used an update. But the place and management were awesome

Annual Baseball/Vacation Trip

This is our second year staying at Destin West Resort, first year at this unit. We absolutely loved this unit. Very clean and updated. Loved waking up to the view of the ocean and having the availability to all the amities of both gulf and bay side. We will absolutely be staying again next year! This is our home away from home! The property manager, Amanda, was AMAZING to work with.

A large beachfront condo

The unit is exactly as pictured. It is spotless, clean, the view from the deck is amazing. Pools were very large and not crowded. The Okaloosa Island Pier and the aquarium are right next-door. It really is the perfect unit. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

it appeared that the property was under some remodeling maybe? Had been painted no pictures on walls ect. You really need a few rugs if you are not going to have carpet anywhere just info. The balcony needs a good cleaning door very hard to open. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Need a new frig falling apart, all in all I would stay here again

Disclaimer-- I'm tough to please.Host managing company is great, answered questions very fast. Property grounds was great, and honestly the reason we chose this stay; marina to fish from, lazy river to chilaxe.The issues we had I figured the host company couldn't fix, so I just dealt with: Biggest aggravation was the AC. It is on a weird schedule (common for the area I know) but would get into the 80s at night time. Washer only used hot water, and the dryer was a drawstring slayer despite me tying the strings together. Main king bed needs updated-headboard is no longer attached to frame, very noisy, and uncomfortable. Issues with kitchen outlets, but we just used the only good one for the coffee maker. This issues could've been resolved I think, but it didn't give us that much trouble to bother the host. Would definitely stay at Destin West again, and would use this company again-- we may just consider a different room next time. ** there is a height limit for the parking garage--7foot once you start driving up the first level. We removed our cargo topper before parking on the fifth floor. There are a few ground level spots, but we liked having the shade from the garage.

Nothing too fancy. Just right for our family

Nothing fancy. Clean. The WiFi is not the best but not why we came on vacation. Just an fyi for those needing to do work or school. The property if great for families. We loved walking over to the bay side and hanging out at the pool and lazy river there. It was much busier with lots of families. Check in is super simple. Condo was spacious enough. Two bedroom and a separate room with bunk beds. Parking was nice bc you park on the level of your room so your vehicle is always close.
