We had an incredible time staying at this cozy apartment in downtown Geneva! It was walkable to many things and only a short drive from several wineries. Communication with the host was very easy, and we so appreciated his hospitality. Parking was available for free as well which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay!

Nice location!! Smell of cigarette smoke when you enter building and then it wafts through the apartment. Floors are very uneven and may be a hazard to certain individuals. Unfinished moldings, fascia was not secured and the wind made it make a lot of noise. Charming place but needs more improvement. It will be very nice when it's finished being upgraded.

thanks for your assessment of my property. There is is no smoke smell in the building period maybe because you saw the smoke shop on the ground floor you freaked and started thinking "oh no now I'm going to be smelling smoke". I had another guest who said the same thing and later admitted it did influence her thinking. Also I have state of the art air purifier that runs in the unit 24/7 . Lastly I have two tenants who have lived on the second floor for years and who detest and are even sickened by smoke smell and they have never complained like you have. Bottom line , you imagined it. Floor is uneven? Maybe you didn't get the cards. They are designed for people like you who make alot out of nothing!!! Next time look into staying at the Ramada.

Historical place in ideal location

Bob’s done a great job of restoring this gem. Place was clean and comfortable (even though the beds/couch were not our favs). The location was perfect, lots to do within walking distance as well as very short drives. Big aLICe Brewing was a lot of fun and dinner at Anorah is recommended!

Great place

Great location right in the middle of town. Great location next to lots of local eateries and short drive to local wineries/ breweries. Walk to the lake. Decor in the apartment is cute! Nice to have two separate bedrooms. I could hear the noise from the streets the first night but I turned on the ac the second night an it easily drown out the noise so it was not a problem at all. Lovely stay would highly recommend!

Great amenities and location

Bob’s place was clean stylish. There were plenty of amenities including full kitchen and washer / dryer. We AirPlayed onto the TV but you could also have signed in with your accounts. Key code entry makes for easy check in. Bars and shops are right on your doorstep, as well as the lovely lake and state park. Rooftop deck has a great view of sunsets. The designated parking in the back is very helpful. It isn’t a problem for us, but for those with mobility considerations - there are two flights of narrow stairs to get up to the top floor of the building, and being an older building the floor is not level. There is a no-smoking policy, but the neighboring apartment had definitive cigarette / incense smell which did come up into our apartment, so we had the windows open most of the time. Other than that it really is a great place to stay.
