Above and beyond in the home and the entire welcome! The layout provides plenty of space to get away and recharge, ie the loft became my reading nook! Bedrooms on different levels was a plus. Thank you for ALL you provided, it truly made our arrival pleasant!!!

The house is absolutely perfect for a weekend away. The kitchen, living space, bathrooms, and bedrooms had everything you could possibly need. The host even provided extra goodies and drinks as a welcome! Nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood close to the lake and hiking trails. Definitely a spot we would return to.

Our stay was wonderful. Kathy was very responsive if we had any questions and was an amazing host. The house was just as it was listed and very clean and welcoming. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely check for availability at Vally Vue.

Wonderful trip

The home was in a great location for us especially because of how close it was to Needle in the Haystack where we were attending a wedding. The home was beautiful and the owner goes above and beyond to make your stay a good one. They had so many different things at the home for us when we got there including baked brownies. I would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in the area.

What a cute little cottage I stayed with two of my friends while attending a local wedding. It was so nice to have a little extras here and there throughout the house for our use such as snacks and water bottles. I’m sorry that we couldn’t stay long enough to enjoy the property more and do some hiking, but maybe we can come back. We thoroughly enjoy the porch Sunday morning with all the birds, especially the hummingbirds. Everything was efficient, clean and welcoming.

Beautiful, Well-Appointed and Comfortable

Distance and career paths have kept our group (friends 40+ yrs.) from regularly gathering. Annually, we try to pick a place to stay for a long weekend, a round of golf, meals and catching-up. This year we found a perfect location! All was exactly as advertised. The pictures did not do this location justice. Scenic drive in, quiet, relaxing and a lake with a pier nearby. The home easily accommodated the three of us, but would serve equally well for 3 couples or a family. No amenity has been spared and we noted the effort that has been put into caring for and maintaining this home.

Beautiful Home & Wonderful Stay!

From the setup of the home, the decor, and the amenities, this house by far was one of the best we stayed at. Upon entry, you were welcome with fresh baked brownies, fresh fruit and tons of goodies. The refrigerator was stocked with necessities like milk, eggs, juice, half and half and even homemade Canadian bacon! I’ve stayed at plenty of rentals and I’ve never seen welcome treats let alone milk, eggs, etc in the fridge for guests. Well done Kathy, what a way to run your rental! This lovely home was spacious enough for my family and had a bedroom and bath on each floor with separate sitting spaces which was perfect for that little bit of time you wanted alone. This house even had separate black makeup towels to clean your face so that the white towels do not get ruined. The owner Kathy was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We were there for a couple nights to attend a graduation but wish we had more time. Anyone looking for a nice little getaway in the area, that you really get that WELCOME feeling when you walk in, this house IS IT and you won’t regret it!

We have stayed in many rental homes over the years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. It is like a five-star hotel with many extras. The house is very clean and the beds are comfortable. It is nicely decorated. There are extra toiletries in case you forget something. The towels are nice and thick and soft. There are bird feeders on the deck and it is fun to watch the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. It is located on a mountainside with a nice area for walking and it is close to a lake. We really enjoyed the breakfast items (some homemade) and snacks that were provided. Spaghetti and sauce were also available for a meal. The homemade brownies were exceptional! The coffee and tea selections were also great. Bottled water was provided. We highly recommend this home if you are in the McConnellsburg area. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Host was very welcoming, they had lot of snacks and food there for us to enjoy during our stay. A very nice and cozy place. A little more of a newer feel to it and nice and clean.
