Deer Lake Retreat | Waterfront | Dock Access | Sleeps 14

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We’re sorry to hear the outside gas grill was greasy and caused a small flare-up when started. That is certainly something we want reviewed right away for guest safety and cleanliness. We also appreciate you noting the loose screws by the patio door near the grill, especially that one came all the way out. Your recommendation for longer screws is helpful and will be shared with our maintenance team so it can be addressed properly. Thank you again for staying with us and for pointing out these maintenance items so they can be corrected for future guests.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing this feedback. We’re really glad to hear that your group of 14 slept comfortably and that the house was the perfect space for your multi-family ski weekend. That’s exactly how we hope the home is used—plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but still come together to relax and enjoy time after a day on the hill. It’s also great to know the quick drive to Boyne worked well for your plans and kept getting to and from the slopes easy. We truly appreciate you choosing this property for your trip and would be happy to welcome you all back for another ski weekend or a getaway in a different season.

Thank you for your brief but wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a terrific experience. We hope to welcome you back for another great stay soon!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay and that the home worked so well for your group of 14. It’s wonderful to know that you were able to make the most of the deck, yard, and lakefront setting. Those stunning sunsets over the water are truly one of Northern Michigan’s treasures, and we’re glad you got to enjoy them together. We’re also happy that you found the home comfortable and well-suited for gathering with family. Large groups deserve a space that allows everyone to relax and spend quality time, and it’s great to hear this property delivered that experience. We appreciate your note regarding the two upstairs bedrooms without air conditioning. Your feedback is very helpful, and we’ll be sure to share it so guests can plan accordingly. Even with this, it’s wonderful to know your overall experience was fantastic and that you had a memorable week with your family. We’d love to welcome you back again for another stay filled with lakefront views, outdoor fun, and unforgettable sunsets!

Thank you so much for your glowing five-star review! We’re thrilled to hear that your family vacation at Deer Lake Retreat was such a success and that the home provided the perfect setting for creating lasting memories. It’s wonderful to know the property was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared for your stay—our team works hard to ensure guests can settle in and relax without having to worry about the small essentials. We’re especially glad the shallow, calm waters of Deer Lake made it safe and fun for the kids to play, while also offering plenty of peace of mind for the adults. Spending quality time in the spacious yard sounds like a perfect way to soak up the Northern Michigan setting, and we’re happy to hear the home’s central location made it easy to access all your daily adventures. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. We’d love to welcome you and your family back to Deer Lake Retreat anytime for another amazing escape with Northern Michigan Escapes!
