Welcome to the Sugar Shack in the Sound Sea Village of Duck, NC. The Sugar Shack is one of the first cottages built in Sound Sea. Sound Sea Village is a terrific vacation destination. We are located on the beach side with no highways or busy streets to cross. The beach is private. There is golf cart parking, bicycle racks, and community seating at the dune. We look forward to hosting your amazing beach vacation! This property is available with a 3-night minimum stay and a 14-night maximum stay.

The Space
The Sugar Shack went through a complete renovation in 2023. It is like a brand-new house inside and out. It offers 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a comfortable gathering space. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full bed with a pull-out twin trundle. So, it is perfect for a family of 5, a girls' trip, or a couples’ getaway. The cottage offers a full galley kitchen complete with a stainless-steel range, microwave, dishwasher, Refrigerator with ice maker, and garbage disposal. It has a cozy family room with a beverage cooler, a breakfast bar with 4 counter stools, and a 65” TV. Each bedroom also has a 42” TV. Each bedroom has independent access to a large deck at the front of the house. It is also surrounded by 50-year-old live oaks providing shade and privacy you won’t get in a hotel. There is an outside shower to wash off the sand from your day at the beach.

Guest access
Guests have access to the driveway, yard, deck, and entire home except for the Owners closet located in the primary bedroom (Door will be locked). Garage space is off limits and all doors will be locked.
