Situated in the Corolla area of the Outer Banks, The Currituck Club is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and designed for family enjoyment, where the famous Outer Banks wild horses still roam free. From the sunrise over the ocean to the sunset on the sound, The Currituck Club will help fill your days with fun, activities and an all around perfect family beach vacation.
A visit to the Currituck Club offers access to not only the beaches, but to an 18 hole Rees Jones designed links style golf course that is also an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary, so views are breathtaking. Families can take advantage of lighted tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, many swimming pools and a fitness center. In season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), you will be able to travel on trolleys to the beach and enjoy one of a kind beach valet service. Trolley stops throughout the community will take you to the exclusive Currituck Club beach (yes they will bring all your beach stuff to the sand!) with a snack hut with cold drinks for adults ;) and kids, along with hotdogs, snacks etc., and even a bathroom with outdoor showers to wash off! If you do not have an umbrella or chairs rent them right there! You can even rent a golf cart for the week to venture around the beach community.
3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. King size bed and master bathroom in master bedroom (on main/2nd floor). Bunk bed (twin over full) and entrance to outdoor patio in 2nd bedroom, queen bed in 3rd bedroom with attached bathroom. Beautifully landscaped, fenced in back yard. Gas fireplace in living room for cozy movie nights indoors. Watch the sun rise on the back deck and watch the sun set on the front deck. A hop, skip and don't jump you might miss it, to coffee, Duck Donuts, Harris Teeter, Starbucks (!!), pizza, ice-cream, etc. Location of our house is close to the clubhouse with bar/restaurant, and the clubs fitness center, main pool, and recreational area. It's fenced in, with a beautifully landscaped backyard to barbecue with friends and family while listening to the ocean. Guaranteed to be a relaxing get away! Generally in-season is Sun - Sun rental but inquire and I will try to work with you. Thanks for stopping by!

The house was very nice. I thought it was even better in person. My only feedback would be that it would be nice not to worry about sheets and towel. The house was clean and well maintained.

Another great stay

Stayed for 4th of July week and it was perfect. Close to everything. Comfortable beds and tv area. House has everything you’ll need. Great communication with the host. It’s our 2nd time staying and we’ll be back. Highly recommend.

A nice family getaway

This is a great place to stay while vacationing in the northern Outer Banks. The place is clean and set up for cooking, laundry and all the essentials. The beach is a short drive away. The Currituck Club offers various amenities (which we didn't take advantage of, but looked good). The house is convenient to a large Harris Teeter, takeout pizza, and Duck Donuts. It's also close to the Currituck lighthouse, Pine Island bird sanctuary, and Currituck Banks Reserve, which have good (easy) hiking.

Great for our getaway

This property was a good option for our family. The owner was very communicative and clear in expectations. I’d say it’s more realistic to bring your own linens than to use theirs as it’s really hard to get them washed and dried before the 9 am checkout. Other than that the checkout list is totally reasonable. Property is in a great location with lots of amenities. Was a great first trip as a family of 5!

Family stay

This was our first trip to the Outer banks and we loved everything about it. This house is fantastic! I was with my 3 children ages 16,14 & 9. We loved the location, the convenience to the grocery store, the turtle pond and the swimming pool. The community is very nice and felt very safe. My son loved meeting other kids at the basketball courts each day. You are centrally located to activities, the house is spacious, the layout is very nice and very comfortable for families. We felt very comfortable in our stay, and had everything we needed. Gary was very responsive, easy to communicate with and a great host. We plan on coming back to the OBX!

Great family vacation!

What a great family vacation place! The house is well located, was clean and simply perfect for our family of 4 teens. It felt like a home away from home. We stayed for one week Had great weather. House was everything it said it was. Buses we’re included and readily available to get to the beach. Pool was fun

Great getaway

The house and neighborhood are lovely! The house was clean and well maintained. In addition, we were surprised at how sound proof it was, especially as the back of the property abuts a major road. You could not hear the traffic unless you were outside on the decks. The proximity to the Harris Teeter shopping area as well as the Currituck Club amenities (outdoor sport courts, pool, club house) were huge bonuses. We did have a minor issue with linens but Gary, the owner, responded quickly and everything was sorted out promptly. Overall I would certainly recommend this property (and more importantly the owner) to anyone looking to rent in Corolla.

Awesome Home in Corolla, NC

My family had a wonderful first visit to Corolla. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. The owner, Gary, was quick to respond with answers to our questions during our stay. The house is a short walk to the community pool and my teens loved feeding the turtles in the pond on our way to the pool every day. The trolley service to the beach is a game changer! Picked us up right in front of the house and took us and all our beach gear right to the beach access. Thank you Gary for a wonderful first trip to Corolla! Can’t wait to do it again!

Active, beach-ish property!

We very much enjoyed this property. The neighborhood has so many amenities! We took advantage of all of it. The Harris Teeter is SO close! The beach trolly will pick up right at the front door! The beach is definitely too far to walk to. ☹️You must use the public access only. The trolly will get you there and pick you up when you are finished. A couple days we drove our car and parked it in the public lot. We loved walking around the neighborhood. Gary is responsive and helpful. The only “con” was having quite a bit to-do for the check-out process.

Wonderful location and amenities-very clean home

The homeowner of this property is always available and answers promptly. The home is very clean and feels very comfortable. Beds are very comfortable ! We enjoyed the porches and having the mudroom area with laundry at the bottom entrance. We loved having the outdoor shower. The carpet in the house is spectacular! The kitchen is stocked well with everything you need! It is very close to the community pool, playground, fitness center, ice cream shop and more! We were very close to Harris Teeter, bar and grill, Island Smoothie, Pizza and Duck Donuts! We rented a golf cart for the week and went to all of these things easily and very quick! so convenient to everything. We were just miles away from the entrance to drive on the beach that also has a air pump lot to re-air tires when you come off the beach. Our kids loved the pool, playground area! The clubhouse has an activity calendar each day for activities for adults and kids. The neighborhood seems very safe and friendly! We enjoyed going to sunset bridge at the back of the neighborhood to enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening! We will definitely be coming back! In really loved the convienience of everything and the cleanliness of the home. Again, the owner is very friendly and very helpful! The neighbors who live full time nearby are very nice as well, we met them while staying at the house. I highly recommend a golf cart if budget allows bc we really enjoyed that and rented from Corolla Carts.

Nice community, better house maintenance

Pros: community trolly, grocery store very close, house was pretty clean and baby/toddler friendly. The community is great with a lot to do. Sitting on the porches was fun as well. Cons: check in process wasn't as described. Once able to get into the house: three out of four ceiling fans were broken or didn't work. We had to purchase drain cleaner for downstairs tub/shower bc it was clogged. Two of the four TV's were unusable or broken. When notifying owner of issues he stated "That is yearly wear and tear of renting and will be addressed in a few weeks when he goes to the house." Us a renters under stand a little wear and tear but for important things like fans, electronics, and drains there should be regularly maintenanced or checked on in between renters. The fans must have been a issue for a while because there are plug in fans in the master and queen rooms. My husband and I work hard to leave the house better than we found it and still haven't heard if we will be getting our deposit returned or not, which we should.
